To start, attach the
hose and spraying
lever to the top of the
pump at the top of
the tank. Simply screw
the two parts together
until secure. Please
see image to the right
for guidance.
Next, simply screw the spraying lance onto the other end of the
hose and spraying lever. Ensure it is tightly secured. Use the photo
below for guidance. Choose which nozzle you would like and
screw to the other end of the spraying lance.
Now, it’s time to
assemble the pump
lever. Start by pushing
it through the holes at
the base of the tank.
Secure in place using
the attachment clip
provided. Once done,
slide the lever handle
onto the other end of
the pump lever pole.
The next step is it connect the
connecting rod to the pump
lever by sliding through the
little hole as seen in the photo.
Secure in place using a safety
pin and washer. Ensure that this
is with the smaller end of the
connecting rod.

The next step is to
secure the other end of
the connecting rod to
the top of the pump.
Firstly, insert the pump’s
lever holder into its
position at the top of the
pump. Whilst doing this
slide through the
connecting rod so that it
passes through the lever
holder as well as the
holes on top of the
pump. These are
secured using the
second safety pin. Use
the photos to help.

Lastly, just place the filter into
the filling point. This prevents
anything other than liquid
entering the tank. Don’t forget to
add the pump fastener to the
groove in the base of the pump
inside the tank. This helps keep it
secure.
Make sure to follow the instructions on the packaging of the agricultural
chemicals, disinfectants, cleaning agents etc. when pouring them into the
Knapsack Sprayer as to avoid damaging the product and/or causing harm to
yourself or those around you.
If you find one of the nozzles becomes blocked during use or doesn’t spray
in the nozzle’s pattern, unscrew the nozzle tip and clean it under running
water. Do not try to unblock the nozzle using an object as this may damage
the nozzle, rendering it ineffective.
To operate sprayer, unscrew the tank lid and fill it through the filter before
screwing the lid back on. Attach the sprayer to your back using the straps and
pump the pump lever to build the pressure in the air chamber before
spraying. Once you’ve finished using the sprayer, remove both the Lid and
the filter and wash the tank with warm water.
