EINFÜHRUNG
Schließen Sie mit Hilfe der Mikrofon Merge Box tauber zwei Mikrofone an einen symmetrischen Eingang eines
Mischpults oder Audio-Interfaces an, wenn z.B. die Anzahl der zur Verfügung stehenden Kanäle nicht ausreicht.
Da die Entkopplung über eine symmetrische Widerstandsmatrix erfolgt, ist die Merge Box mit Phantomspeisung
nutzbar, sodass auch Kondensatormikrofone verwendet werden können (Zwei Kondensatormikrofone: Phantom
Power P max 1/2). Vermeiden Sie es, ein dynamisches und ein Kondensatormikrofon gemeinsam am Summierer
anzuschließen, da beide Mikrofontypen über sehr unterschiedliche Pegel und Klangverhalten verfügen.
Tipp: Verwenden Sie zwei identische Mikrofone.

Symmetrischer Mikrofoneingang mit einer weiblichen 3-Pol XLR-Buchse. Die Mikrofonsignale der beiden
Eingänge INPUT A und INPUT B werden Mono summiert am Ausgang OUTPUT ausgegeben.
2. INPUT B
Symmetrischer Mikrofoneingang mit einer weiblichen 3-Pol XLR-Buchse. Die Mikrofonsignale der beiden

Symmetrischer Audioausgang mit einer männlichen 3-Pol XLR-Buchse. Verwenden Sie ein symmetrisches
Mikrofonkabel, um den Summierer an einen symmetrischen Mikrofoneingang eines Mischpults oder Audio-In-
terfaces anzuschließen.
ACHTUNG: Das Anschließen von Signalkabeln kann zu erheblichen Störgeräuschen führen. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der Eingangskanal (Mischpult, Audio-Interface usw.) bei Steckvorgängen stummgeschaltet
ist. Andernfalls können Pegel von Störgeräuschen zu Schäden führen.

INTRODUCTION
Use the tauber microphone merge box to connect two microphones to a balanced input on a mixer or audio
interface if, for example, the number of available channels is not sufcient. Because the decoupling takes place
via a balanced resistance matrix, the merge box can be used with phantom power, which means that condens-
er microphones can also be used (two condenser microphones: phantom power P max 1/2). Avoid connecting
a dynamic and a condenser microphone together on the summing mixer, as the microphone types have very
different levels and sound characteristics.
Tip: Use two identical microphones.

Balanced microphone input with a female 3-pin XLR socket. The microphone signals of the two inputsINPUT

3. OUTPUT
Balanced audio output with a male 3-pin XLR socket. Use a balanced microphone cable to connect the
summing mixer to a balanced microphone input on a mixer or audio interface.
ATTENTION: Connecting signal cables can cause a lot of noise. Make sure that the input channel
(mixer, audio interface, etc.) is muted when plugging in. Otherwise, noise levels may cause damage.

INTRODUZIONE
Con l'ausilio della Merge Box per microfoni, potete collegare due microfoni a un ingresso bilanciato di un mixer
o di un'interfaccia audio, ad esempio quando il numero dei canali disponibili non è sufciente. Poiché il disac-
coppiamento avviene tramite una matrice di resistenza bilanciata, la Merge Box è utilizzabile con alimentazione
phantom, in modo da poter utilizzare anche microfoni a condensatore (due microfoni a condensatore: Phantom
Power P max 1/2). Evitare di collegare al sommatore un microfono dinamico e un microfono a condensatore
insieme, poiché i due tipi di microfono presentano livelli e comportamenti acustici molto diversi.
Consiglio: Utilizzare due microfoni identici.

Uscita audio bilanciata con presa XLR maschio a 3 poli. Utilizzare un cavo microfono bilanciato per colle-
gare il sommatore a un ingresso microfono bilanciato di un mixer o di un'interfaccia audio.
ATTENZIONE: Il collegamento di cavi di segnale può causare un notevole rumore. Il canale
d'ingresso (mixer, interfaccia audio ecc.) sia silenziato durante le operazioni di collegamento.
In caso contrario, i livelli di rumore possono provocare danni.
