Beforeoperating
your
unit,
you
mustrecord
anOutgoingMessage
(OGM).
The
OGMwillinform
thecalling
party
ofyour
absenceand
your
message.
RECORDING
THE
OGM

REC
until
a long
beepis
heard.
thenrelease
it.
After
the
long
beep,
speakclearly
and
loudlyinto
themicrophone(MlC),
approximately
8 inches
away.
oThe
lNUSEindicator
willflash.
oThe
recording
timeisuptothe
tape
length
that
you
use.
Whenrecordingis
finished,
push
OGM
REC
again.
oThe
unit
willrewindthetaoetothe
beginning,
andbe
readyforIncoming
Calls.
NOTE:
lf you pause for over 2 seconds while
recording, you willheara seriesof warning
tones(6 beeps)and the unitwillstart
rewinding
the tape.lf thishappens,
start with
step 1againafter the unit stopsrewinding.

CHECKING
YOUROGM
1 PushOGM
PLAY.
oThe
unit
will
play
backthe
OGM,then
rewindthetapetothebeginning.
oUse
the
VOLUMEcontrolonthe
leftside
ofyour
unittoregulatethevolume
during
playback
if
necessary.
.To stop
theoperation
while
playing
back
the
OGM,
push
theOGM
PLAYbutton.
NOTES:
oThe
unit
willautomatically
change
tothe
Answer
mode
7 seconds
aftercompleting
theOGM
recordingorchecking.
oAnswer
mode:
Whena call
isreceived,the
unitwill
automatically
answer
and
recordIncoming
Messages
onthe
ICM
tape.
