operating instruction. All safety hints, information on measures and weights,
as well as on maintenance intervals have to be observed.
2. The Panther JibGlider may only be operated by competent staff.
PANTHER regularly offers training seminars, in which participants receive a

and dates please contact us under +49 89 613 900 01.

In its standard konfiguration the JibGlider serves as an U-Bangi/Slider. You can
realize short dolly moves due to a precision guiding rail with a travel of 75cm (2.5ft.).
An internal brake/lock system makes work easy. Cameras can be mounted with
3/8´´ screws, alternatively any Fluid Head for more comfort.
The JibGlider becomes a Glider if mounted on any 75mm or 100mm tripod.
With an extension Kit, the Jib Glider becomes a Jib Arm with a vertical traval of 1.4m
(5ft.). The sliding unit of the JibGlider serves as a fine adjustment weight to speed up
weight adjustment e.g. when changing the lens. The turret includes a pan and tilt
brake as well as a 75mm bowl for tripod mounting. The max. payload of 25 kg
guarantees the use with any HD camera.

Initial Operation
Jibarm operation: Place central pivot section on
your tripod, level and tight it with
clamping screw.
Put JibGlider on angle bracket and screw tight. Use second tripod or a helping hand
for easier assembling.
Mount weight rod at rear side
using safety pin bolt.
Place Front of extension kit into
bearings and screw tight.
Pay attention to correct position.
Screw bowl on top of Front.
Screw balance rod on outside of
Front and on inside of central
pivot section.
For better stability, two balance
rods can be mounted (option).

Screw bowl on top of Front.
Mount Fluid Head.
Use adapter ring if needed.
Still use support, since JibGlider
is not balanced yet.
Balance JibGlider by sliding weights in right position. Fasten weights with clamping
rings against unintentionally moves.
Fine balancing is done by
sliding the sledge in
corresponding direction.
Pan and Tilt brake are
separately operated.

Jibarm underslung operation:
Screw balance rod into lower
positon of central pivot section if
JibGlider is used in underslung
mode.
Place Fluid Head upside down into
bowl.
Remove 100mm ball form Tripod-
LowShot Plate.
Screw wedge plate and camera (3/8 ´´
thread) onto LowShot plate (side by
side) in order to reach lowest possible
camerapositions.
Slider operation on tripod:
Screw Tripod-LowShot Plate into T-groove nuts.
Pay attention to place it in central position in order
to avoid the danger of tilting (sliding offset)!
Use a second tripod or stand to
increase safety!
3/8´´-28mm Adapter needed.
Slider operation on floor: Screw set of rubber feet into T-
groove nuts of JibGlider track
and level if needed.

Operation with tilting option:
Place JibGlider between Fluid Head and
Camera.
Remove 100mm ball form Tripod-LowShot
Plate.
Screw wedge plate of Fluid Head (3/8 ´´
thread) onto LowShot plate.
Screw Tripod-plate into T-groove nuts of
JibGlider track.

Transport
Use transport bag for most
compact dimensions.
Disassembling of central pivot
section necessary.
Counterweights can be placed
in bag, however not
recommended due to excessive
transport weight.
Transport case is to be used for
faster set up and more rigidity.
