1. Install
1) Before installing this machine, install main power circuit breaker (NFB) and Magnetic switch on the outside of the
main body for safety.
2) If, after transport or storage in humid conditions, equipment could fail to meet all the safety requirement, the install
instruction shall 4 hour of operation to dry out the equipment and restore it to normal condition.
2. Ground type 1 grounding or special type 3 grounding in the exterior box of the machine to prevent electric shock.
3. Check that voltage of provided power is same as the voltage of the machine and the rated current is not exceeding
proper capacity of load current. Then, provide the power.
(It is recommended that you do not use a machine at over 70% of the rated current condition.)
4. Fuse
1) To prevent fire and to protect the machine, use a fast-acting fuse, which is designated by our company.
(Refer to the product label )
2) Must turn off the main power to exchange the fuse.
3) The fuse used must be of the specified rating (current, voltage, type) in order to prevent a fire hazard.
5. Environments
1) Adjust ventilation and temperature so that temperature inside the control panel is not over 45˚C.
2) Do not operate the machine where there is a risk of inflammability, explosiveness, corrosion or humidity.
(RH 70% below at 40℃)
3) The equipment must not be mounted on a surface of flammable material.
4) Live parts may need to be accessible, a statement requiring the fitting of a residual current-opened circuit-breaker.
6. Disassembly or remodeling of the machine
1) Never change components voluntarily with the exception of changes of fuse or thyristor.
2) Our company can not guarantee operation of the machine when the volume of the machine or component is altered
voluntarily. When a problem occurs, please contact our company’s A/S Department.
7. Check and repair
1) Before checking the machine, cut off the power and beware of electric shock.
2) Check fastening condition of bolts and nuts of terminal parts.
3) When bolts of terminal are loose, it could generate heat so wiring can be damaged or fire can occur.
Check this condition periodically.
8. This manual could be revised without notification for improvements of functions of the machine.
9. Responsibilities and guarantee
1) Must preserve notices for handling, maintenance, and repair of the machine.
2) Our company is not responsible for damage, which occurs due to not following these instructions.
10. Cleaning
1) Do not spray water directly at the product. (A fire and electric shock will be occurred)
2) Please unplug the product
3) Do not use chemical liquid. Discoloration will be occurred.
4) Appropriate decontamination is carried out if hazardous material is split onto or into the equipment.
5) Cleaning and decontamination necessary as a safeguard when laboratory heating equipment and any accessories are
maintained, required and transferred.
11. Protection against electric shock
1) The hazardous live parts are supplied from a circuit protected by a residual current operated circuit-breaker which
interrupts the supply at a differential current of 30mA or less, or the installation such a circuit-breaker.
2) Conveyor belts, muffles, etc. which are conductive are connected to the protective conductor terminal.
3) Please express clearly the necessary method to be carried for protection and method for protection on where operator

7. CONTROL(INPUT) SIGNAL
7.1. AUTO INPUT
4~20mA Auto input : Refer to detail A.
1st terminal : ‘+’Cable
2nd terminal : ‘-‘Cable
Consult us for any other input signal such as 0~5/1~5/0~10VDC and so on.
Pay attention to polarity of ( +, -).
Otherwise, the unit can operate improperly or output can be shut down.
Make sure the 1st DIP SWITCH is OFF for auto input before
operation.
7.2. RUN/STOP
Start operating the unit.
Run : Connect 3rd and 4th terminals (Mechanical relay with no voltage)
Stop : Disconnect 3rd and 4th terminals
7.3. MANUAL INPUT (WITH INNER OUTPUT VOLUME)
Manual 10KΩinput : Refer to Detail C.
3rd terminal : Common(+)
4th terminal : Manual volume input
5th terminal : Manual volume input(Low)
Please check 1st and 3rd DIP SWITCH.
Manual input is applicable when 1st dip switch is on.
Please check it before operation.
3rd dip switch should be on to adjust inner output volume ⑥.
Please check it out for proper use before operation.
You can not use manual input(10KΩ) and outer output volume
(10KΩ) together.
7.4. ADJUSTING OUTPUT VOLUME
Output volume can be adjustable according to 3rd dip switch.
OFF : Inner volume ⑥on page 5 (DETAIL D), Output 0~ 100%
ON : Outer 10KΩmanual volume(DETAIL C), Output 0~ 100%
8. CONTROL METHOD & FUNCTION
There are two kinds of control methods to control the power for load.
8.1. PHASE ANGLE CONTROL
Turn on the gate at suitable time according to input signal at each half cycle in alternative current.
Control method can be changed by selecting 4th dip switch. If you want phase-angle control, please
turn the 4th dip switch off. And mode can not be changed when the unit is operating. If you change
new mode, please push the re-set button or re-start the unit.
Adjusting output volume means to limit the output voltage against
input(control) signal.
Inner output volume is not applicable when 1st dip switch is on.

8
8.2. ZERO-CROSSING CONTROL
Turn on the gate on zero point according to input signal.
Control method can be changed by selecting 4th dip switch. If you want zero-crossing control, please
turn the 4th dip switch on. And mode can not be changed when the unit is operating. If you change
new mode, please push the re-set button or re-start the unit. Fixed 16mode with compensation
algorithm is applied.
8.3. FUNCTION 8.3.1. SOFT STRAT FUNCTION
When unit is initially operating or run/stop is selected, output will be
smoothly increased by phase angle control for 15 seconds no matter you
select phase angle control or zero-crossing control.
8.3.2. SOFT UP/DOWN
Applicable for only phase angle control. Output will be smoothly
increased and decreased by input signal for 15 seconds. Time max = 15Sec.
DIP SWITCH – 2
OFF : Not applicable ON : Applicable (Fixed 15 Sec.)
8.3.3 CURRENT LIMIT
Contents Explanation Display
Failure of Heater When input signal is more than 50% and output current on
each phase is less than 1A. Or when fuse is burnt. Blink
Failure of SCR When input signal is 0% and output current on each phase is
more than 1A. Blink
Over Current Output current is more than 120% than rated current ON
Over Temperature When the TEMP. of heat sink is more than 85°CON
Unbalanced Load When unbalanced load among 3 phases is more than 20% Blink in turn
Run System is normal and run signal is turned on Blink
Stop System is normal and stop signal is turned on ON
Applicable for only phase angle control. Default value is rated current of the unit. Current will
be limited according to the current limit volume.

9. ALARM & DISPLAY
DIP SWITCH – 2
OFF : Not applicable ON : Applicable
Limit Volume : Open the main voltage input(top part)
Selecting : To the left (-),to the right (+)
Volume can be changed from 0~ 100%(Rated current of the unit)
When you limit the current, please use current volume more than 30%
of rated current of the unit. If lower then 30%, the unit can operate
improperly. And at the critical point of limit, temporary over-shoot can
be happened.
The color of LED can be changed to R(RED), G(GREEN) and O(ORANGE) according to status of unit.
