ACTIVATION AND TUNING
With the radio (or the ignition) switched on, IPLUGRDS TX will turn ON automatically.
Now it is possible to connect the devices to the available inputs (IPOD, AUX IN).
If we switched OFF the unit with the remote, to restart the system just press one button of the
remote or connect the IPOD (with ignition and the radio ON).
AUDIO QUALITY
IPLUGRDS TX is designed to manage the audio files with an audio quality comparable to the CD
quality.
To obtain this, it is necessary to have high quality AUDIO files.
For IPOD, the audio levels with which the IPLUGRDS TX gives the best results, respects the
parameters chosen by APPLE, and in this way, perfect audio is obtained by recording your audio
CD with iTunes.
We suggest however to always SET ON the SOUND CHECK option.
For songs of a different origin, the quality is still good, even if a difference of volume can be found
between one file and another.
In the case of bad quality files, distortion can be found (if the volume of recording was too high),
or deep audio (if the volume of recording was too low) .
87.7 mHz
Tune in to the FM 87.7 band frequency (default ), the title of the song playing will appear
on the radio display. Now memorize the radio station to simplify future connections!
ATTENTION: BE SURE THAT THE RDS FUNCTION ON THE RADIO IS
ACTIVATED!

AUDIO QUALITY
When using the AUX IN JACK input, audio quality will be regulated directly from the device.
SPECIAL SETTING
It is possible to set your IPLUGRDS TX either according the audio characteristics of compression
or the pre-emphasis.
Some files could have a high dynamic of audio level amplitude, which may cause clipping
especially at very low or very high frequencies, with the result of a low audio quality.
In order to avoid this, IPLUGRDS TX includes an audio compressor able to level the audio
dynamic. This compressor, if necessary, can be excluded by positioning pin 4 ON (see below).

SPECIAL SETTINGS
The handling of the pre-emphasis is instead referred to the standard of transmission which the
different countries adopt; in Europe, the transmission is at 50uS, in other countries, such as USA
it is at 75uS. To set the IPLUGRDS TX at 75uS, place pin 5 ON.
With some radios, IPLUGRDS TX audio can result imperfect because of the common aerial
masses.
Therefore it is possible to separate these by excluding the jumper as described below.
