DIP SWITCHES
UNIKA GM LAN has 4 dip switches to set before start the installation.
UNIKA GM LAN is a UNIVERSAL adapter module to connect OEM steering wheel commands;
its compatibility extends to a range of vehicles with GM LAN protocol and with PARROT MKi RKi.
Its function is completely handled by a microprocessor capable of learning the protocol of the OEM steering
wheel commands.
The GM LAN programming it’s in self-selections.

UNIKA GM LAN SELF-LEARNING AND FUNCTIONS
The selection of the protocol comes through SELF-RECOGNITION; after the connections are terminated by
inserting the module to the connector, the unit will carry out in about one second, the synchronization indicated
with quick RED flashes of the module’s LED.
As soon as the synchronization is carried out, the vehicle’s protocol is selected; this operation is confirmed by
the lighting up of the GREEN FIXED LIGHT of the module’s LED.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The unit doesn’t work and the LED is switched off.
Verify the power supply connections.
The correctly powered unit doesn’t work and the LED is switched off.
Verify the GM LAN connections.
The unit is correctly connected and the RED LED flashes quickly.
The unit can’t be synchronized with the GM LAN ; contact the technical support.
The unit is correctly connected and the RED LED flashes in an irregular way.
Verify the GM LAN connections.
The unit is correctly connected and the RED LED is on.
The unit has carried out the synchronization with the GM LAN but can’t recognize the
IF YOU WANT TO RE-INSTALL UNIKA GM LAN IN A NEW CAR, AFTER
THE NEW INSTALLATION PLEASE RESET THE UNIT AS BELOW
DESCRIBED.
