SAFETY INFORMATION
PREPARATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
• This product has been manufactured with the highest standards of safety and quality.
• For energy savings, this portable luminaire has been engineered to safely use a self-ballasted LED bulb in place of an
incandescent bulb.
• Before assembling your portable luminaire, spread all parts out on a clean surface. Inspect each part for defects that may
have occurred during shipping.
• This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter
the plug.
IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If
there is a defect in the wire, do not continue the assembly process.
Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram on previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the
product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
2. Screw in the lower
tube (G) onto the base
(H). Screw in the middle
tube (F) into the lower
tube (G).
3. Screw in the upper
tube (E) and socket
assembly (B) into the
middle tube (F) .
1. Screw in the adjusting
tube (C) into the socket
assembly (B).
NOTE: Do not twist the
power cord.
4. Unscrew the socket
ring (AA) from the socket
of the socket assembly
(B), place the shade
(A) onto the socket and
secure with the socket
ring (AA).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.
• To clean the xture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box, and use a
dry or slightly dampened, clean cloth to wipe the exterior surface of the xture.
1) The light does not come on at all:
a. Make sure the wall switch and circuit breaker are on.
b. Make sure the wiring is correct.
2) Fuse blows or circuit trips when light is turned on.
a. Check for crossed wires, ensure wiring is correct.
If unable to x any of the above issues, please consult a certied electrician.
FIVE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: If, during normal use, this PATRIOT LIGHTING lighting fixture breaks or fails due to a
defect in material and workmanship within five (5) years from the date of original purchase, simply bring this lighting fixture
with the original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS retail store. At its discretion, PATRIOT LIGHTING agrees to
have the product or any defective part(s) repaired or replaced with the same or similar PATRIOT LIGHTING product or part
free of charge, within the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser with original sales receipt.
This warranty; (1) excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs; (2) does not cover damage that has
resulted from abuse or misuse; and (3) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to persons/property or costs. This warranty
does give you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (continued)
5. Install the light bulb
to socket (not included).
Use Max 60W medium
base (E26) type "A"
bulb or LED equivalent.
6. To adjust the overall
height: Loosen the
adjusting screw (D) and
adjust to the desired
position then tighten the
adjusting screw (D) to
lock into place.
To adjust the shade:
Loosen the knob on
the side of the socket
assembly (B) and adjust
to the desired position
then tighten the knob to
lock into place.
• Plug into the wall
outlet, turn on the
switch and enjoy.
