Inputs:
Eight input ports, one dedicated
program input, bridge in/out

input may use the program input, but
the purchase of an input module is not
necessary. The program level control
regulates the level of this input, and the
signal is routed through the system
bass and treble controls.
The power section delivers 150
watts and includes built-in SPS™
protection, which allows the MMA
8150T to produce full power capability
without audible power amp clipping. A
broad load impedance range is pro-
vided, and 25 and 70 volt fully isolated
line outputs are standard equipment.
The MMA 8150T is packaged as a
stand-alone unit, but will also rack-
mount into a standard 19" rack with an
optional rack-mount kit.
ARCHITECTURAL AND
ENGINEERING
SPECIFICATIONS
The mixer amplifier shall have eight
modular input channels and one
dedicated program input. The master
section shall include one master volume
level control, two EQ controls providing
10 dB of boost or cut at 100 Hz and
10 kHz, a "contour" switch providing
6 dB of boost at 100 Hz and 6 dB of
boost at 10 kHz, and a green status
LED. Internal muting shall be accom-
plished at the modular level by means
of two dedicated mute lines. External
muting shall be accomplished via screw
terminals on the back panel. Provision
for an external master volume control
shall be made through barrier strip
connections on the back panel.
The unit shall be packaged in a
rugged metal chassis 17" wide by 3.5"
high by 15.5" deep. The unit shall
operate from 120 volts AC, 60 Hz
power. The internal amplifier shall be
capable of delivering 150 watts RMS
into 4 ohms and 8 ohms, as well as
providing 25 volt and 70 volt line
outputs. The unit shall be capable of
delivering rated power from 20 Hz to
20 kHz ±1 dB into 4 ohms at its direct
output at less than 0.5% distortion with
system hum and noise at least 77 dB
below rated output. The unit shall be a

model MMA™8150T.
DESCRIPTION
The Architectural Acoustics MMA™
8150T is a high-quality mixer amplifier
with nine separate input channels. Each
channel provides a level control, and
the master output section features bass
and treble EQ controls (defeatable) and
special equalization contour.
The MMA 8150T provides un-
matched application flexibility with an
array of optional plug-in modules,
allowing the system to be tailor-made
for specialized installations. Input
modules may be loaded in as required
for varying applications, number of input
channels, special functions, etc.
The program input includes its own
level control and is totally separate from
the other eight channels. External
signals may be patched in at this point
as a system auxiliary input or the ninth
input channel. Signals appearing at this
input are routed directly to the master
summing amplifier stage and are mixed
with signals from the other eight
channels. Systems requiring a single
