Caution of Operation
1.Don’t squeeze or cast the player to break the plastic case.
2.Don’t operate the player in bathroom in high humidity or near the high temperature environment.
3.Don’t direct press the LCD panel to damage the display surface.
4.Please do not use the player with earphone while driving an vehicle or riding a bicycle, It is not only dangerous, but also
against the law. And please keep your volume down when crossing streets.
5.To prevent static, avoid the extreme dry surroundings.
6.Do not disconnect the player with PC while you copying file.
7.Manufacturer will not take any responsibility of files storage damage which cause by abnormal operation.
8.Please do not cleaning the player with chemicals such as alcohol or thinner.
9.Users are not allowed to repair the player by him/herself.
10.The MP3 player should be no driver need for windows XP/2000/ME except windows 98 (a installation disc is packed in the
player box)
11.Set the HOLD switch to the release position before operation.
12.When you use this player as a USB stick, please always follow the correct operation method .Any misuse may cause file lost.
13.Do not drop the player, which probably cause battery fall off or damage its surface.
14.If you don't intend to use your MP3 player for an extended period of time, don't forget to remove the batteries from it to avoid
any possibility of damage caused by battery leakage.

USB Connection
1. Installing the driver for Windows 98:
(For windows operating system ME/2000/XP or greater, you need not install the driver, please skip this step.)
Insert the installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and driver installation will start.
The windows 98 Driver will be finished installation until the last window show out.
2. Connecting PC
Before operation, please verify the player is turned off, and one end of the USB cable came with the system is inserted into PC
with another end into the MP3 player.
Once you connect to your computer, if your player displays <*USB RDY* >, then the USB connection is operational.
3. Download MP3 songs
A new drive will show in your computer, you can copy your audio files (in MP3 or WMA format) to your player and the download
status will be displayed as follows.
4. Removing USB device
1. Double click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in taskbar:
2. From Safely Remove Hardware screen, highlight "USB Mass Storage Device" item, then click "Stop" button. “Stop to hardware
device” appears as shown below.

3. Click "OK" button. After the "Safe to Remove Hardware" window appears, the player can be disconnected from PC safely.
Warning: An error might occur if remove the connection of the USB cable when transferring data. After data transferred and “Safe
to remove hardware ”window appeared the player can be removed from PC safely!
Attention: This MP3 NOT support format by computer, it will not functional if you use your computer to format it.
MP3 Operation
Turning the power on/off
You can press the button 2 seconds to turn on the MP3 player, the player will power on with the “Pengo” displays.
Press the button 3 seconds, the player will save the data and enter the power off mode.
Key Lock Function
Turn on the hold switch and the screen will show out “Key Lock!”, you must unlock it in order to operate your MP3 player.
Enter MENU and select function
Before you enter menu, please make sure the unit is not playing music, recorded voice or FM radio, you can press button to
stop or pause and then press the Mode button (in the middle of the rolling wheel), 2 seconds to enter the main menu,
¾Roll stick to select the function you want and push button to enter the function you selected, there are:
Music player, Voice player, Voice Record , FM radio, File Delete, EQ Mode, Repeat, Setting.
Playing MP3 music
1. Turning on the power by pressing button for a moment, you could see the following music player mode: no. of songs,
song timer, sampling rate and the ID3 display.

2. When you press button again, the current track will be played as shown above.
3. If you want to select previous/next song, Rolling stick to select the previous song or the next song.

4. The music will pause if you press .
5. Roll and pressing to fast forward or fast backward.
6. You can press and hold 2 seconds to view play list and folders, you can choose the song or get into the folder by press
button.
EQ MODE
When the music is playing, you can press the 2 seconds to enter the function menu, and press the button to enter
the EQ mode setting, and roll to select EQ mode: Normal, Classic, Live, Pop, Rock, DBB and press the button to
save the selected EQ mode.
Volume Control
You could control the volume by pressing VOL+/VOL-button. The volume steps will increase or decrease when the VOL+/VOL-
button is pressed correspondingly.
Voice Recording Function
1. Select Voice Record function in the menu. ( Note: Please stop playing the music before you press )
2.Press to enter this function, the MP3 player will start to record. You can stop record by press again
The MP3 player will automatically switch to Voice Player mode when you stop recording.
Playback recorded voice
1. When you in Music Player mode, you can go to Voice Player mode by press and roll it then to enter.
Go back to Music Player mode
When you in other mode, if you want to enjoy the music, you can press and roll it to select Music Player in the menu,

then press to go back.
FM radio( frequency modulation mode)
1. Select FM Radio function in the menu. (Note: Please stop playing the music before you press )
2. You can rolling to choose station. If you want choose by frequency, please press ,roll it to Frequency then
press to select. If you want choose by preset you saved, please press ,roll it to Preset, then press to
select.
3. Save FM station to Preset:
After make selection the channel, press ,roll it to Save Preset then press and choose preset number and press
again, then your station will be saved to you the number you selected. This player can save 30 sations.
4.. FM recording
After make selection the frequency and press key roll it to" FM record" then press , the unit will start to record.
Note: Doesn’t like Voice Record, after you press to stop recording, it will automatically back to Music Player mode.
Repetition mode
After select Repeat function in the menu. ( Note: Please stop playing the music before you press ), roll the to select
the Repeat mode, and then press the button to make the selection
Delete files
1.Select File Delete function in the menu. ( Note: Please stop playing the music before you press )
2.Select the file you want to delete by rolling and press to delete.

3. After you deleted your file, press to return to menu.
Setting Options
Press , roll to Setting and press to get into the settings. In each setting, you can roll to select the options
and press to confirm your selection.
1.Language
You can select English, simplified Chinese character(GB2312), and traditional Chinese character(Big5),Korean, Japanese,
German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc.
2. LCD Contrast Level
You can adjust the contrast level to low, level 1, level 2, level3, level 4, and level high.
3. Back Light
You can setup how long the backlight will last according to your demands.You may choose to turn off the backlight or let the
backlight on for 0, 3, 6 ,9, 12,15,seconds each time the button is pressed.
4. Bitrate
You can choose the recording Bitrate 32kbps,64kbps,96kbps,112kbps,128kbps or 192kbps, the bigger number the better quality
and will cost more memory capacity.
5. Format memory
Attention: This MP3 NOT support format by computer, if you need format memory, please MP3’s Format function as
below.
6. Reset Setting
This function will reset your setting for factory defaults.
7. Memory Info
You could check the memory size without connecting to the PC.

Troubleshoot
1、Power on and no display
Check and exchange the battery
2、Power on and no sound
Check the Hold witch is on or not
3、Playing music but no sound
Check the volume level is too low
4、Can not play the music
Please the MP3 and WMA file is out of the requirement of the operation specification (please refer to the operation specification
pages of this manual)
5、VBR MP3 Music File
Due to the timer counter of the VBR MP3 Music has a different from the fixed compression rate file.
The timer display of the VBR file will vary with different compression rate.
6、Some Music File can’t play
Please check the following:
1.MP3 file should be in MPEG 1 Layer 3.
2.MP3 files playback with multiple bit-rates and sample rates supported (32Kbps ~ 320Kbps)
3.WMA files playback with multiple bit-rates and sample rates supported (64Kbps ~ 192Kbp)
7、Bad Song Problem
Bad Song definition:
1. The songs are not completed down load from PC (sudden disconnection the USB cable).
2. The MP3 songs are not in MPEG1 Layer3.
3. The WMA songs are not in the sample rate range 64kbps- 192kbps
If the play detect the bad song and it will auto skip to next.
8、USB Connection Problem
Please check the following:
1) The cable connection between the PC and player is loose and bad contact.
2)Never disconnect the cable in progress of the files downloading between PC and player (it will cause the some bad
songs/files and the player may be halt).
9、Sudden stop of the player when the music is playing
Please check the following:
1) Please the reset switch is used to on or not.
2) Please the battery is finishing or not.
There are too many bad songs in the download file
Safety and Caution:
1.Never listen the music in the highest sound level in long time and it will bad for health in listening.
2.Never disassemble the player by user.
3.Never operation or listen the player in driving car or motorcycle.
