This leaflet describes procedures to convert the Peradon range of meters.
The conversion kits should contain the following items: -
Pre 2011 DCT
1 wall bracket fitted with new coin entry plate
1 runway
1 double sided VHB tape
Post 2011 DCT
1 coin entry plate
ADM & SCT
1 safety plate
1 coin acceptor
Tools Re uired
No. 1 9 inch pozidrive screwdriver
Medium slotted screwdriver
Small pliers
Small hammer (DCT only)
M3.5 spanner or nut spinner (ADM & SCT)

Pre 2011 DCT
1 Switch off electricity supply.
2 Remove cash bo .
3 Unlock front cover and lift upwards allowing lower part of cover to come
towards you. Pull cover forwards and away from wall bracket and disconnect
lead from the power supply board (PSU). See Figure 5.
4 Disconnect electrical connections marking the position of wires and remove
wall bracket from the wall.
5 Remove two screws from coin bracket and insulation plate (Figure 1) and
remaining screw holding runway cover (Figure 2) and lift off. Discard coin
bracket and put two screws, insulation plate and runway cover to one side.

6 Remove two screws and the spacer from power supply board, two nuts from
terminal block and carefully prise relay from side of bracket. If fitted remove
earth terminal block and lift out complete power assembly (Figure 4).
7 Discard old wall bracket and fit power assembly to the new wall bracket
using the fi ings from the old wall bracket and double sided tape supplied.

8 Fit new runway supplied ensuring the lugs are correctly located in the
corresponding holes (Figure 3).
9. Re-fit runway cover and insulation plate using retained screws. Attach
wall bracket to the wall and re-connect electrical connections ensuring they
they are re-connected correctly.
10. Reconnect PSU lead (Figure 5) and refit and lock front cover.
11. Replace cash bo and switch on electricity supply.

Post 2011 DCT
1 Switch off electricity supply.
2 Remove cash bo .
3 Unlock front cover and lift upwards allowing lower part of cover to
come towards you. Pull cover forwards and away from wall bracket and
disconnect lead from the power supply board (PSU). See Figure 5.
4 Remove two screws from insulation plate and remaining screw
holding runway cover and put to one side (Figure 8).
5 Remove old coin entry slot and discard.
6 Insert new coin entry plate into wall bracket slot (Figure 6) and tap
securely into place (Figure 7).
7 Check runway hasn’t moved and then replace runway cover and
insulation plate.
8 Reconnect PSU lead (Figure 5) and refit and lock front cover.
9 Replace cash bo and switch on electricity supply.

ADM & SCT
1 Switch off electricity supply.
2 Remove cash bo .
3 Insert a No. 1 nine inch pozidrive screwdriver through the hole
uncovered by removing the cashbo and remove the recessed screw holding
the front panel (Figure 9).
4 Remove the front panel by pushing downwards as far as possible, pulling
the bottom edge slightly outwards and then lifting panel upwards. It is
essential that panel recess is clear of case lip before attempting to lift panel
out. Rotate front panel and withdraw nine way connector from printed
circuit board thus separating front panel from meter case (Figure 10).
5 Remove old safety plate and discard (Figure 11)
6 Fit new safety plate supplied.

7 Take the front panel and remove the spade terminals from the coin
acceptor noting position of the wires (Figure 12). If a display board is fitted
remove seven way connector from top board (Figure 13). Remove top PCB
by gently squeezing retaining clips in the PCB supports. Slide display board
(if fitted) slightly away from the coin acceptor (Figure 14).

8 Using a nut spinner or spanner of size M3.5 undo the four nuts holding
the coin acceptor and remove coin acceptor keeping all fi ings.
9 Fit new coin acceptor supplied using retained fi ings ensuring earth is
correctly fitted. Tighten securely. Refit circuit board(s) and 5-way
connector ensuring correct connection (Figures 15 and 16).
10 Refit spade terminals ensuring correct connection and remove
retaining clip from bottom of new coin acceptor (Figures 15 and 16).

12 Insert and lock the cash bo .

11 Refit front panel
