Installation of the TS Performance Power Play Mp-8
2011+ Dodge 6.7L
Read all instructions and fully understand them before installing you TS Performance MP-8 module.
Disconnect the battery terminals and remove keys from ignition before installation.
Place Di-Electric Grease onto every electrical connection.
1. Disconnect the positive
terminals on both
batteries.Failure to do this will
cause a Check Engine Light and it
will have to be cleared with a code
reader. (Any time the module is
installed or removed, the batteries
must be disconnected.)
2. Remove the dipstick and 4 bolts
holding the plastic cover plate on top
of the engine.
3. Using an 11mm wrench remove the 2
clamps holding the EGR tube that
crosses in front of the valve cover.
You do not have to remove the tube
only tilt the tube up towards the front
of the truck.
4. Using a 10mm socket and wrench,
remove the bolt that holds the dipstick
tube to the bracket and the 6 bolts that
hold the air horn to the manifold.
Making sure not to damage the gasket,
slide the air horn forward so that you
can access the front of the fuel rail.
5. Remove the 18mm fuel rail valve located
on the front of the fuel rail.
6. Take valve and thread supplied nut tool
onto valve. Then place valve in a vice,
clamping down on sides of valve cap.

Continued
7. Use a wrench to unscrew supplied nut in
order to remove valve cap. Be careful to
hold end of valve while doing this! It is
spring loaded and you don’t want to lose
parts!
8. Removing metal spring, then insert the 3
supplied metal shims into valve.
9. Replace valve spring and then cap. Note
that there are 3 holes in a triangle
position on the inside of the valve cap
that does not need to be removed from
cap and should face towards spring as it
did when it was removed, hole
alignment is not necessary.
10. Place valve back in vice, now with a
thick piece of cardboard or piece of
wood behind valve cap to prevent
damage to the valve seal surface.
Tighten vice so that the valve cap
reenters valve until fully seated. No need
to over-tighten; just tighten until snug.

Continued
11. Take a small punch and small hammer
and re-apply the 3 factory indentations
along the lip where the valve casing
covers the valve cap. You may need to
loosen the vice slightly to rotate the
valve to access all 3 indentations, but do
not let the spring push the cap out any!
Make sure that the cap stays fully seated
in valve while rotating. After doing so
loosen the vice and make sure that the
valve cap is held by the indentations.
12. Re-install the fuel valve and tighten it down to 100 ft. lbs.
13. Now you can re-install the air horn, make sure to line up the six holes in the
gasket with the bolt holes for the air horn. Also connect the dipstick tube to the
bracket on the air horn.
14. Line the EGR tube back up. For easier installation line up one side to its
connection, install the clamp but leave it loose enough so you have a little
movement to connect the other side. Then fully tighten both sides, once you have
both sides lined up correctly.
15. Locate the fuel pressure sensor on the back of the fuel rail close to the fire wall.
Plug the factory connector into our harness and our harness into the fuel pressure
sensor.
16. Connect our harness to the MP-8 module and mount the MP-8 in a location of
your choice.
