PAD18 is a 0-10V dimmer.
This device is a security enabled Z-Wave Plus™ pr duct. The
encrypted Z-Wave Plus™ messages supp rt PAD18 t
c mmunicate with ther Z-Wave Plus™ pr ducts.
PAD18 can be used with Z-Wave™ devices (with Z-Wave™ l g )
fr m different manufacturers, it can als be included in the Z-
Wave™ netw rks fr m different manufacturers.
All mains perated n des (even fr m different manufacturers) in
the netw rk act as repeaters t increase the stability and reliability
f the Z-Wave™ netw rk.
The pr duct is supp rted with Over-the-Air (OTA) feature f r
firmware upgrade.

Adding to Z-W ve™ Network
There is a butt n with LED indicat r in fr nt f PAD18. It is used
t dim n/ ff the light and carry ut the inclusi n, exclusi n, reset
r ass ciati n f PAD18 fr m Z-wave c ntr ller.
When the fist p wer ne, the LED indicat r flashes nce per
sec nd f r 30 sec nds. With the SmartStart functi n, PAD18 will
be aut matically included by Z-wave c ntr ller.
PAD18 can be perated with any certified Z-Wave™ devices
fr m different manufacturers in Z-Wave™ netw rk. All n n-battery
perating devices act as repeaters t increase the stability and
reliability f the Z-Wave™ netw rk.

be added t Z-Wave™ netw rk by scanning
the Z-Wave™ QR c de n the pr duct.

matically included in a certified Z-Wave™
C ntr ller with SmartStart inclusi n ability in
10 minutes after it turned n.

n de ID, the LED light will flash n and ff alternately at 1-sec nd
intervals. By pressing the On/Off butt n, LED light will st p flashing
temp rarily.
Learning Flashes when learning is successful

1. L ng press the butt n, the light level will be increased and
decreased, sl wly and repeatedly.
2. Sh rt press the butt n, the light will be n/ ff t the last light
level.

Over-the-Air (OTA) Firmw re Upd te
The device is supp rted with Z-Wave™ firmware update via OTA.
1. Set the Z-WaveTM C ntr ller int the firmware update m de.
2. Ch se the hex file t update the firmware.
3. Wait 10~15 minutes f r c mpleting the OTA pr cess.
4. Result f OTA will sh w in Z-Wave™ C ntr ller l g.
During the OTA pr cess, please DO NOT rem ve the p wer,
therwise, the firmware will be br ken, and the device will be
n nfuncti nal.
