All ite s, except pre-sterilized VIATM Bases, should be separated,
washed and sterilized BEFORE first use. Always ensure all ite s
are separated after EACH use; wash, rinse thoroughly and sterilize.
• DO NOT use anti-bacterial cleaners, as they ay cause plastic
co ponents to crack. • Suitable for all ethods of sterilization.
• To sterilize, use an AVENT Electric or Microwave Stea Sterilizer
or boil for 5 inutes. • Wash your hands thoroughly and ensure
surfaces are clean prior to contact with sterilized co ponents.
• Dishwasher safe: Food colorings ay discolor co ponents.
• Microwave caution: DO NOT war feeds in a icrowave oven
as this ay cause uneven heating and could scald your baby.
Expressed breast ilk can be stored in the fridge or freezer in
sterile VIA Bases and sterilized Lids: in refrigerator for up
to 48 hours (not in the door) or freezer for up to 3 onths.
Never refreeze breast ilk or add fresh breast ilk to already
frozen ilk. Only fill VIA Bases to 6oz or 8oz for storage in freezer,
as contents will expand.
For your child's safety and health. WARNING! Breast ilk, for ula
or solids will heat faster in AVENT VIA Bases than in standard
feeding bottles/containers. Always check food te perature before
feeding. • Never use feeding nipples as du ies, pacifiers or
soothers. Continuous/prolonged sucking of any fluids other than
ilk and water will cause tooth decay. Fruit juices and flavored
sugary drinks are not reco ended. If used, they should be well
diluted and only used for li ited periods, not constantly sipped.
• Always use this product under adult supervision. DO NOT allow
your child to play with s all parts or walk/run while using
bottles/nursers/cups. • For use with AVENT clear silicone nipples.
Always inspect nipples before use and throw away if da aged.
In any event we reco end replacing nipples after 3 onths
use. Always asse ble nipples while wet. • Nipples available
in newborn, slow, ediu , fast and variable flow rates.
