1 Important
Safety
Read these instructions.•
Heed all warnings.•
Follow all instructions.•
Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with•
the manufacturer’s instructions.
Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat•
registers, s toves , or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that
produce heat.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched,•
par ticularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the clock radio.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the•
manufacturer.
Unplug this clock radio during lightning storms or when unused•
for long periods of time.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is•
required when the clock radio has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the clock radio, the clock
radio has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.
This clock radio shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing.•
Do not place any sources of danger on the clock radio (e.g.•
liquid filled objects, lighted candles).
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the•
disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily

3 Get started
Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence.

You can only use AC power as power supply. The lithium CR2032•

When power is disconnected, the display back light is off.

When is displayed, replace the battery as indicated.

Risk of elec tric shock! When you unplug the AC adapter, always pull

Plug and set
The clock radio has “plug and set”feature. When power is connected,
the clock is set automatically.
Select time zone
Check if the time of the clock radio is consistent with the local time. If
not, adjust the time zone settings according to your location.
1In standby mode, press TIME ZONE.
The current time zone number blinks on the display panel.»
2Press TIME ZONE repeatedly to selec t time zone.
For Australia:
Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) +8
Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) +9.5
Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) +10 (default)
New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) +12
For United Kingdom and Ireland:
Set clock D
In standby mode, you can set clock manually.
Select DST (daylight saving time) mode
For countries with daylight saving time (DST), the clock radio offers you
DST option to adjust summer time.
In standby mode, press and hold 12/24H·DST for two seconds.
The clock advances by one hour.»
Tip
To exit DST mode, repeat the above operation.•
To select 12/24 hour format, press• 12/24H· DST repeatedly.
4 Listen to FM radio
Tune to FM radio stations E
Note
Position the antenna as far as possible from T V, VCR, or othe r•
radiation source.

Store FM radio stations automatically
You can store up to 20 FM radio stations.
1Press RADIO to turn on the radio.
2Press and hold PROG for two seconds.
The clock radio stores all the available FM radio stations and»
broadcasts the first available station automatically.
Store FM radio stations manually
1Tune to an FM r adio s tation.
2Press PROG.
The preset number begins to blink.»
3Press PRESET +/- or TUNING +/- repeatedly to select a
number.
4Press PROG again to confir m.
5Repeat Steps 1 to 4 to store other stations.
Note
To remove a pre-s tored station, store another s tation in its place.•
Select a preset radio station
In tuner mode, press PRESET +/- to select a preset number.
Adjust volume G
5 Set alarm timer
Set alarm time H
In standby mode, you can set two alarms to ring at different time.
Select alarm sound
For the alarm sound, you can select buzzer, your last heard radio, or the
melody stored in the clock radio.
Adjust AL1/RADIO·BUZZ·1 or AL2/RADIO·BUZZ·2 to select
alarm sound for Alarm 1/Alarm 2.
Activate/deactivate alarm timer
1Press AL1/AL2 to view alarm settings.
2Press AL1/AL2 again to activate or deactivate the alarm timer.
»or appears if alarm timer is on and disappears if it is
off.
To stop alarm, press the corresponding• AL1/AL2 (or
RADIO).
The alarm repeats ringing for the next day.•
Note
When alarm sounds, you cannot adjus t volume by rot ating• VOL.
Snooze alarm
When alarm sounds, press SNOOZE.
The alarm snoozes and repeats ringing five minutes later.»
To adjust alarm interval (in minutes), press SNOOZE repeatedly.
6 Other features
Set sleep timer
This clock radio can switch to standby mode automatically after a preset
period.
Press SLEEP repeatedly to select the sleep timer period (in minutes).
When the sleep timer is activated,»appears.
To deactivate the sleep timer, press SLEEP repeatedly until [OFF] (off)
appears.
Enjoy mood light
The clock radio features decorative mood light with different colors.
To turn on/off mood light:
1Press to turn on mood light.
You can press• twice to change mood light to low
brightness level.
2To turn off mood light, press again.
To select mood light color:
1Press COLOR.
The color of mood light begins to change gradually.»
2To select your favorite color, press COLOR again to confirm.
To wake up with mood light:
1Switch WAKE TO LIGHT to ON.
To deactivate this feature, switch• WAKE TO LIGHT to OFF.
Adjust display brightness
Press BRIGHTNESS repeatedly to select different brightness level: high,
mid, and low.

No response from the unit
Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then turn on the•
unit again.
Poor radio reception
Increase the dis tance between the unit and your TV or VCR.•
Fully extend the FM antenna.•
