Step 2
Slide the humidier lid release latch (1) toward the therapy
device. The humidier lid will pop open slightly. Lift up on the
humidier lid (2) and swing completely open.

Step 1
Line up the back of the therapy device to the front (top lid
release latch side) of the heated humidier. Slide the two units
together until they snap into place.
Press the humidier release button (1) and pull apart to separate.

Step 3
Remove the tank (1) by grabbing both sides of tank and lifting
out of the humidier base. Rinse the tank with water.
CAUTION: Use only room temperature distilled water in the tank.
Fill the tank with water (2) no higher than the maximum ll line
. To avoid spilling, the water level should not rise above the
bottom of the tube (3) in the back of the water tank.

Step 4
Carefully replace the water tank (1) into the humidier and close
the humidier lid (2) until it snaps shut.

To start therapy
Supply power to the device.
Press on the therapy on/o
button located on top of the
device.

When therapy is on
While the device is delivering
therapy, you can adjust tube
temperature or humidier
settings. Rotate the control dial
to choose either setting. Press
and rotate the dial to change
the setting.
Ramp
If ramp is enabled, the patient
can use it by turning on the
airow, and pressing the Ramp
button on the top of the device.
The Therapy screen will then
change to reect the Ramp
pressure, and the green circle
will reect the gradual increase
in pressure.

In the patient menu, you can choose between the following
screens.

Preheat My provider My setup
In this sub-menu, patients can access
information related to their therapy (therapy
hours, mask t, and if enabled AHI, PB and
P90%).
From this icon, patients can pre-heat their
humidifer for 30 minutes before therapy starts.
On this sub-menu, patients can access
information related to their device, but also
can manually send data « upload » to
EncoreAnywhere (if a modem is installed), or
launch the self-scanning tool Performance
Check.
From this sub-menu, patients can adjust some
comfort settings such as ramp starting pressure,
Flex, mask type, etc. Some settings cannot be
changed if the lock is displayed on the icon.

Performance check device
screening tool
Performance check allows you to
quickly evaluate a therapy
device remotely. The check
operates the blower and screens
the device for any operation
errors. The screen then indicates
whether the device passed the
check (displays a green check
mark) or should be returned for
service (displays a red X).
A troubleshooting dashboard
can be populated from Encore
software, either via direct upload
to EncoreAnywhere (when a
modem is installed) or by asking
the patient to read the ve codes
o the Performance check screen
over the phone, and decode them
on Encore (Pro / Basic).
Sleep progress
The device provides summary
information about your patient’s
therapy use each time the therapy
is turned o. The screen displays
the “Three Night Summary.”
It shows your patient’s nightly
usage for the last 3 sleep sessions
(measured in 24 hour periods,
ending at noon each day). The
most recent session is displayed
in the right hand bar, labeled
with the number of hours slept.
A green bar indicates that your
patient slept more than 4 hours,
and a yellow bar indicates less
than 4 hours of use.

Check mask t
This feature allows patients to
check mask t prior to starting
therapy.
The device will deliver a test
pressure while the screen counts
down 40 seconds. A green bar
indicates good t, while a red bar
indicates improvement is needed.
After the test, normal therapy will
start, and the screen will either
display a green checkmark or a
red “X”. The green checkmark
indicates that the leak found
allows for optimal performance of
the device. The red “X” indicates
that the leak may aect device
performance. However, the device
will remain functional and deliver
therapy.
