Connect
Connect speakers
1 Find the socketsmarkedBASS +/- and TREBLE +/-onbothspeakers.
2 Onbothspeakers,insertthespeakercableintoapairofred-black(+/-)sockets,
theredwireintothered(+)socket,theblackwireintotheblack(-)socket.
3 Inserteachspeakerwire:
a Hold down the socket ap.
b Insert the stripped part of the wire completely.
c Release the socket ap.

Connect audio cables
Connect the supplied RCA (red/white) to 3.5mm audio in cable to:
• the L-IN/R-INsocketsonthebackoftherightspeaker.
• theaudioinputsocketsontheaudiodevice(PC,mobilephone,Mp3player,
DVDplayer,etc).

Caution
•Riskofproductdamage!Makesurethatthepowervoltagecorrespondstothevoltage
printedonthebackorundersideoftheunit.
•Riskofelectricshock!WhenyouunplugtheACpowercord,alwayspulltheplugfrom
thesocket.Neverpullthecord.
•BeforeconnectingtheACpowercord,ensureyouhavecompletedallotherconnections.
Connect the AC power cord to the wall outlet.
Switch on or off
Toswitchonthespeaker,rotatetheVOLUMEknobclockwiseonthesidepanelof
the right speaker.
» Youwillhearoneclick.Whenthespeakerisswitchedon,thePOWERLED
indicator lights up in red.
» Thespeakerswitchestothelastselectedsource.
• Toswitchoffthespeaker,rotatetheVOLUMEknobcounter-clockwise,until
youhearoneclick.

Play through Bluetooth
ThemultimediaspeakerusesBluetoothwirelesstechnologytostreammusicfrom
yourportabledevicetothesystem.
Note
•YourBluetoothdeviceshouldbewithBluetoothsoftwareofversion2.1orabove.
•BeforeyouconnectaBluetoothdevicetothismultimediaspeaker,familiarizeyourselfwith
theBluetoothcapabilitiesofthedevice.
•Keepthismultimediaspeakerawayfromotherelectronicdevicesthatmaycauseinterference.
1 On yourmultimediaspeakers,rotatetheSOURCEknobtoselectthe
Bluetooth source.
» WhentheBluetoothsourceisselected,theBluetoothLEDindicator
startstoblink.
2 OnyourBluetoothdevice,activateBluetoothandsearchforPhilips SPA6270.
• Fortherst-timeconnection,selectPhilips SPA6270 to start pairing.
» Forsomedevices,youmayneedtoinput“0000”aspairingpassword
» Ifconnectionissuccessful,youwillheardoublebeepconrmation.
» TheBluetoothLEDindicatorisalwaysoninblue.

3 Playaudiowiththemediaplayerofyourdevice.
» Theaudiocomesoutthroughthemultimediaspeaker.
» Next time you switch on Philips SPA6270,thespeakerconnectstothe
lastpaireddeviceautomatically.
» To connect Philips SPA6270toanotherBluetoothdevice,switchoff
BluetoothoncurrentBluetoothdevice.

approximately 10 meters (30 feet).

» WhentheAUXINsourceisselected,theAUXINLEDindicatorturns
on.

3 Afteruse,switchoffthemultimediaspeakerandunplug.

Control Play
To increase or decrease volume,
• Whenthemultimediaspeakeristurnedon,rotatetheVOLUMEknobonthe
sidepaneloftherightspeakertoadjustthevolume.
To adjust bass or treble level,
• Rotate the BASS +/-knobonthebackpaneloftherightspeakertoadjustthe
bass.
• Rotate the TREBLE +/-knobonthebackpaneloftherightspeakertoadjust
the treble.
