Handle Description
Mode description
Single tap
Operation Function
Triple tap Head mode Camera stays in its current orientation. All axes are locked.
Quadruple tap Follow roll mode
Five times tap Starts the Gyro calibration. This is necessary, if gimbal is slightly drifting.

Double tap Lock mode
Explanation
The pitch and heading direction follows your movements.
Pitch and Roll is locked, Yaw follows the target.
Operation Function
Explanation
Single tap Home move Gimbal will go back to zero position (Home Move) selected mode is active.
Long press 2 sec Joystick / Timelapse Switches between Joystick & Timelapse mode

Power on and Paring
2.1. Press both MODE and HOME Button for 3 sec to clear bluetooth paring then power off.
2.2. Re-Power on . The LED on left side will be constant on when pairing was successful.

Assembling /
disassembling handle:
The handle can be
detached from the main
unit. Ensure that the
markings (arrows) are
matching and handle is
powered off before you
fix the handle on the
main unit.

Attention:
Do not insert the battery in the wrong way.
Ensure that + Pole is inside and - Pole is at
cap side as illustrated.

Lock screws
on each axis
Mount the adapter plate on the camera body and
ensure that the plate is fixed and aligned properly.
Slide the camera with the adapter plate into the
mounting system of the gimbal and make sure
you balanced the camera properly and fixed
the screw.
Make a precise balance on each axis to get the center
of gravity. Tighten up the screws as illustrated.
Gimbal is balanced if all axes remain in their position.
Tilt the gimbal to 45 degrees to the right or left.
Gimbal is balanced if YAW axis remains in the
position. If not, then balancing is necessary.
Loosen slightly the screw on the YAW axis and
shift the L-Arm to the position that YAW axis will
not rotate anymore and keeps it‘s position.
Tighten gently up the screw.
Attention:
All lock screws can be completely removed, pay attention while unscrewing them. Remove camera before unscrewing to prevent it
from falling down and damages on your equipment.

Long press to enter TIMELAPSE. All 5 LEDs will flash shortly which indicates Timelaps mode
Press to select the speed of rotation. LED indicates which speed mode is active. Refer to details below.
Double press to select the direction of YAW rotation (left or right)
Press for 1 sec to start Timelapse rotation
Flashing LED indicates active Timelapse speed mode
(Speed can be changed any time while pressing )

Press for 1 sec to stop TIMELAPSE rotation.

4.6. Move Home: Tap on to initiate Home move function.
4.7. LeaveTimelapse
Mode:
Long press to exit Timelapse mode and return to Joystick mode.

Note: Pitch angle can be adjusted via joystick to get right shooting angle before starting Timelapse.
YAW axis on some Pilotfly gimbals are limited and 360 degree rotation is not possible on that models.
Therefore adjust YAW angle first on that models to get the maximum angle for Timelapse.
Note: Perform a GYRO calibration to prevent horizontal drift.
Specification
1. Please turn off the Bluetooth handle before you connect the gimbal via USB to the computer.
Otherwise parameters cannot be set properly.
2. Bluetooth connection between gimbal and SimpleBGC software can be established
when main switch of 2-hand holder is powered on, but Bluetooth joystick must be switched off.
