Indicative 1.2A Power Supply & Charger
Installation guide
PS-2 is an AC-to-DC or DC-to-DC, 1.2A power supply. It monitors the AC and backup battery inputs,
and can report on Low Battery and AC faults.
The PS-2 interfaces the BUS in PIMA Intruder Alarm Systems - Hunter-Pro Series and Captain 8 -
via expansion cards. For other Systems, connect the AC and low battery outputs to any N.C. input.
The PS-2 can be supplied as a standalone unit in a metal box, with transformer and backup battery.

Continuously monitors the backup battery’s1capacity and regulates its charging
Protected against circuit short
Protected against full battery discharge
Technical Specs
Voltage: 13.8V DC output;
Current: 1.2 AH;
Fuses: DC: 3.15A; Battery: 5A;
Outputs: 1.1A;
Battery capacity range: 4.5 - 7.2AH;
The outputs are switched-ground
normally, and disconnect (-) during
AC/DC fault.

Standalone PS-2 installed with expansion card
The PS-2 is also supplied as a kit, with a zone expander.
This standalone product is supplied in a metal box, with a transformer. The box can contain a
backup battery (not supplied) and an optional tamper switch.
