1. SAFETY INFORMATION
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The following check should be performed for the con-
tinued protection of the customer and service technician.
LEAKAGE CURRENT CHECK
Measure leakage current to a known earth ground (water
pipe, conduit, etc.) by connecting a leakage current tester
such as Simpson Mode! 229-2 or equivalent between the
earth ground and all exposed meta! parts of the appliance
(input/output terminals, screwheads, metal overlays, con-
trol shaft, etc.}. Plug the AC line cord of the appliance
directly into a 120V AC 60Hz outlet and turn the AC
power switch on. Any current measured must not exceed
0.5mA.

Press to perform repeat playback
@ If pressed during normai playback mode, all tracks
on the disc will be repeatedly played back.
| @ If pressed during programmed playback, the pro-
| grammed tracks will be repeatedly played back in
the programmed order.
TRACK NO. keys {1 to 0)
@ Use to specify track numbers {track 1 - track 99) for
selection of tracks, program entry, or to confirm
playback time.
@ Use to specify time (in minutes), during auto
program editing.
PHONES (headphones) jack
When you wish to use headphones, insert the plug for
the headphones into the headphone jack.
| PHONES LEVEL control knob
Use to adjust the level of sound when using head-
phones. Turning the knob to the right increases the
sound level.
REAR PANEL
SUBCODE OUT terminal
This terminal will be used or outputting subcodes
(data recordable on compact discs together with
audio signals) in future audio applications.
PROGRAM key (PROGRAM MEMORY)
Used to program a sequence of tracks.
@ Press this key after selecting a desired track with
the track number keys. Tracks will be added to the
program in the order in which they are selected.
@ When pressed during normai playback mode, al-
lows the currently playing track to be added to the
program
