all local standard safety precautions relating to the operation of office
equipment. In particular, DO NOT remove covers from the machine.
Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
Keep hands, jewellery, ties, long hair, etc. away from moving parts.

Getting to know the F604 Folder
The F604 is a fixed ‘Half Fold’ folder designed to be used in the
DI875 Inserting System.
The illustration below shows the main components of the F604.
Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the machine.

2 Docking bracket
3 Top cover
4 LED indicator
5 Docking plate/F610
6 Handle – fold or bypass mode
7 Fold fine adjustment knob
The F604 is powered from
the Power Pack mounted
on the F610 Inserter.

Setting up the F604 Folder
The F604 Folder has two operating modes, Folding and Bypass.
Shift the Handle position to change mode.
To adjust the fold fine position, turn the Adjustment Knob left or right.
Setting up the F601 Booklet Feeder for operation with
the F604 Folder
In the F601 menu, go to ‘Belt Speed’.
Set the belt speed to 100%.

Maintenance
Clean the Rollers with water every 30,000 cycles or earlier if needed.
Diagnostics
When switching on the main power, the Folder will perform a self
diagnostics program.
If everything is in order, the green LED will light continuously.
Troubleshooting
PROBLEM CAUSE ACTION
LED is flashing. The cover is open. Close Cover.
The output sensor is
covered with paper or
dust.
Clear the machine of
paper and clean paper
dust from sensor.
Paper jam. Clear jammed material.
