INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
The SV-5130.IRisabar-type licenseplatecamera withaviewing angle of120°and IRnight
vision.The camera lenscan be verticallyadjusted togivethe driver abetter viewing angle.The
camera iseasytoinstall withno drilling required,requiring minimal installation time.This
uniquelydesigned productcan be used for anypassengercar,SUV and Van.Itcan alsobe
used on manylargeSemiTrucks,School Buses,and TransitBuses

INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
1.The SV-5130.IR RearVision Systemusesasuperwide-anglelensforbestall around
performance.TheCamerawill displaythefull widthofmostparkingspacesup to8feetor
evenwider.
2.Thesecamerasaredesignedtoworkbestonvehiclesthathavealicenseplatelocatedatthe
centerand abovetherearbumper.Ifyourvehiclehasaplatelocation thatisoffsettothe left
side,rightside,oryourplateislocatedunderthe bumperthen thePlateCam™maynot
provideoptimumperformance.
3.The SV-5130.IRisdesignedtousetheexistingLicensePlatemountingequipment
4.RemovethefactorylicenseplateboltsandsecuretheSV-5130.IRcameratothelicense
plate.
5.Routethecablethroughthe bodyof thevehicle.Mostvehiclesmayhavean existinggrommet
thatcanbeusedtoroutethecablethroughthevehicle.Ifyouhavetodrill ahole,makesure
todoublecheckbehindthe drilling locationtomakesurenothingwill bedamaged.
6.Oncethecableisinstalled,makesuretosealthe holeusingsiliconorcaulkingtoprevent
moisturedamage

WIRING:
1. Carefullychooseahiddenout-of-sightlocation(possibly behindtheplate)fordrillingthecable
hole.Some vehiclesmayhavean existinghidden rubbergrommetorplugavailabletoavoid
havingtodrill intothebody.Besuretodouble-checkforanywiring orobstructionsbehind the
surfacewhereyouaregoingtodrill the cablehole.Usetherubbergrommettomakeawatertight
sealforthecablewhereit passesintothevehicle.
2. Chooseaconvenientplacetorunthecameracableuptheleft,rightorcenterofthe vehicle.As
aruleofthumb,trytoavoidmainfactoryharness loomsthatmaycontainhigh levelsorRFnoise
orinterference.
3.You canconnectthecamerapowerattherearofthevehiclebehindthereverselights.You may
alsoconnectpowerinsidethevehicleunderthe dashorinthe trunk. TheRed powerwiregoesto
ReverseLight+12V,andtheBlackwiretoGround.
4. Run theYellowRCAvideocabletothemonitor’svideoinputorreversecamerainput.Leavethe
whiteRCAdisconnected.
