INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
The SV-5345.IRisaspecial designed licenseplatemetal barbackup camerawithasuperwide
viewangle.The SV-5345.IRisdesigned tobe installed in thebackofthe licenseplateon any
vehicle.It iseasytoinstall withno drilling required,requiring minimal installation time.This
uniquelydesigned productcan be used foranypassengercar,SUVand Van.Itcan alsobe
used on manylarge SemiTrucks,School Buses,and TransitBuses

INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
OPTION1:LISENCEPLATEMOUNTING
1.Removethe licenseplateand placethemountingbracketbehindthe licenseplateandthen
reinstall theplate.Only thecamerashouldbeseenonceyoureinstall theplate.
2.The bar-bracketisdesignedtobemountedbehindthe licenseplatesothatonly the camerais
visible.
3.Routethewireharness throughtherearbumperofthevehicleorthroughanykindofrubber
grommeton the vehicle.Ifyouhavetodrill ahole,makesuretosealthe holeonceyouroute
thewiring throughtopreventleakingormoisturedamage.
4.The SV-5345.IR isdesignedtousetheexistingLicensePlatemountingequipment
OPTION2:LIPMOUNT
1.Removethehexscrewfromthe cameraand thelicenseplatebracketandattachtheswelling
lipmountbracket tothecamera
2.Choosealocationtomountthe cameraandthenroutethewireharness forthe camerainto
thevehiclethroughanexistingrubbergrommetorbydrilling aholeifneedbe.Ifyouhaveto
drill ahole,makesuretosealtheholeonceyou routethewiring throughtopreventleaking or
moisturedamage.
3.Usetheprovided double-side tape tosecurethe cameratothevehicleoryou canusetwo
self-tapping screwstosecureitdown.

REVERSE (MIRROR)IMAGING:
The SV-5345.IR Camerahasbuilt-incircuitryto“mirror” the imagesoobjectsonthe rightofvehicle
appearon the rightand objectsontheleft appearon theleft whenlooking atastandardmonitor.If
yourexistingmonitororin-dashmonitorhasareversecamerainputwherethemonitoritself performs
the mirrorimage,thenyourpicturewill notbe correct. Thisisduetothefactthe image isbeing
mirrored bytheplatecam and mirrored byyourmonitor.Checktosee ifyoucancontrolthesettings
inyourmonitortoturnoff the mirrorimagefeature.
WIRING:
1.Carefullychooseahiddenout-of-sightlocation(possibly behindtheplate)fordrillingthecable
hole.Somevehiclesmayhaveanexisting hidden rubbergrommetorplugavailabletoavoid
havingtodrill intothebody.Besuretodouble-checkforanywiring orobstructionsbehind the
surfacewhereyouaregoingtodrill the cablehole.Usetherubbergrommettomakeawatertight
sealforthecablewhereit passesintothevehicle.
2.Chooseaconvenientplacetorunthecameracableuptheleft,rightorcenterofthe vehicle.As
aruleofthumb,trytoavoidmainfactoryharness loomsthatmaycontainhigh levelsorRFnoise
orinterference.
3.You canconnectthecamerapowerattherearofthevehiclebehindthereverselights.You may
alsoconnectpowerinside thevehicleunderthedashorinthetrunk.TheREDpowerwiregoes
toReverseLight+12V,andtheBLACKwiretoGround.
4.Run theYELLOWRCAvideocabletoyourmonitor’svideoinputorreversecamerainput.
5.Therearetwosmall setsof GREEN andWHITEwiresthatcomeoutofthe maincameraharness.
ConnecttheGREENwirestogethertodeactivatethedistancegrid.Connectthe WHITEwires
togethertoactivateMirrorImaging.
NOTE:WheneveryouconnectordisconnecttheGREENorWHITEwires,youmustremove
powerfromthecameraandthenpoweritbackupforthe changestotakeeffect.
