3. Turning on the pager
The pager responds by audio alert after inserted a battery in it, press Read / Exit Key ,
the initial time and date will appear on the LCD.

The pager is now in standby mode and ready to receive messages.
Display when pager is turned-off:
You can press Function Key twice or thrice to come into “OFF?” function and then press
Setting / Selection Key to turn off the pager.
You can hold Read / Exit Key for approximately 2 seconds to turn on the pager again if
it is in turned-off state.
4. Functions
In standby mode, you can press Function Key to come into the corresponding function
menu, and then press Setting / Selection Key to confirm and exit.
Note: If you want to exit a function selection without any change, press Read / Exit Key .

The pager will automatically return to standby mode in 8 seconds, if no key is pressed.
4.1. Receiving and reading messages
Press Read / Exit Key to read message. “NO PAGE” indication appears on its LCD
when no messages are present.
When the pager has received message(s), the number of unread message appears on its LCD:
This display indicates 2 unread messages in the pager are waiting for being read, at the same time,
a short unread alert will remind you of the unread messages. The number at the bottom left corner
displays the serial number of a received message. When you press Read / Exit Key , the
content of the message appears on its LCD.
Press Read / Exit Key to display the message.
◆ The LCD displays message: [message: 861 579 0234], the digit at the bottom left corner
indicates the 8th message, press Read / Exit Key again to display the time message was
received [receiving time: 12:36 of March 27.]
The digit at the bottom left corner indicates the 1st address code.
If you press Read / Exit Key and TONE ONLY is displayed, this indicates the call is an
audio only call.
Press Setting / Selection Key to read the next message.
You can press Function Key to return to standby mode while reading message. Your
pager can automatically store received messages, including the receiving time and date.
When its memory is full, “MEMORY FULL” indication will be displayed on standby mode.
In this case, a new message will overwrite the oldest message unlocked.
If the pager is full of unread messages and one or more unread messages have been
overwritten by newly received messages, the “OVERFLOW” indication will be displayed on
its LCD.

If the pager receives a duplicate message repeatedly, the icon of duplicate message is
displayed to show that the message received is a duplicate one. In this case, the receiving
time of the message will be updated to the latest. If it’s the same message from different
sources, the “two messages” will be regarded as the same one.
The number at the bottom left corner shows the serial number of a message.
4.2. Locking & unlocking message
You can lock a maximum of 15 messages and protect them from being overwritten or deleted
by the new message when memory overflows.
In order to lock or protect a message, press Function Key while reading the message.
When “PROTECT” appears on the LCD, please press Setting / Selection Key to lock the
message. Then the icon indicates that the message has been locked.
In order to unlock a message, press Function Key once then press Setting / Selection Key
to unlock the message while reading the message.
Note: “FULL” indication will be displayed as you press Setting / Selection Key to lock
one more message when 15 messages were locked. In this case, you cannot lock or protect
more messages.
4.3. Deleting all messages
There are two ways to delete messages:
1) You can select “CLEARALL?” function to delete all read and unlocked messages.
2) You can select “DELETE?” function to delete the messages that have been read and remain
unlocked selectively.
Press Setting / Selection Key to confirm and all unlocked messages that have been read
will be permanently deleted.
Note: “CLEAR ALL?” function will not be displayed in function menu items under the following
cases:
1) No message stored.
2) All messages unread (an unread message means that both the content and the receiving

time page of the message have not been read).
3) All messages have been read and locked.
4.4. Deleting message selectively
In order to delete messages selectively, please press Function Key twice while reading
unlocked messages. Then “DELETE” indication appears as follow.
Press Setting / Selection Key to confirm the deletion.
4.5. Turning off the pager
Press Function Key to display:
You can press Function Key two or three times to get to “PAGER OFF?” function menu
and then press Setting / Selection Key to turn off the pager. The pager cannot receive
messages when in the off mode. You can press Read / Exit Key once again to turn on
the pager if it is in turned-off state.
4.6. Setting time
◆ Press Function Key to display:
1) Press Setting / Selection Key to come into the menu and to move cursor from one position
to another. The order is [HH—>MM—>A / P—>12Hr/24Hr ]
2) Press Function Key to adjust the digit to the current time.
◆ You can repeat step 1 and 2 to adjust it to correct time.
◆ Press Read / Exit Key to confirm and exit.
4.7. Setting date
◆ Press Function Key to display:
Press Setting / Selection Key to come into the menu.
Press Setting / Selection Key to move the cursor from one position to another. The order
is [MM—DD—YY] or [DD—MM—YY] and it is decided by the code programming.
Press Function Key to adjust the digits.
Press Function Key to adjust the digit in every position.

Repeat the above 2 steps in every position to adjust it.
Press Read / Exit Key to confirm and exit.
4.8. Setting alert mode
◆ Press Function Key to display:
In the “SETALERT” function, you can select the following 3 alert modes:
1) Audio alert - Press Setting / Selection Key to set audio alert; or press Function Key
to go to the next option.
2) Vibration alert - Press Setting / Selection Key to set vibration alert; or press Function
Key to go to the next option.
3) Mute alert - In this mode, the pager will receive messages with no alert. Press Setting /
Selection Key to confirm the setting or press Function Key to go to the next
option.
4.9. Setting alert audio
◆Press Function Key to display:
By the “SET AUDIO?” function, you can select one audio from the 12 alert audio options for
receiving messages or turning on the pager.
Press Setting / Selection Key to go to the menu.
Press Function Key until you get your desired audio option.
Press Setting / Selection Key to confirm the option and exit.
4.10. Setting alarm
◆ Press Function Key to display:
Press Setting / Selection Key to go to the alarm menu.

Press Function Key to select the alarm you want to set for alarm 1, 2 and 3.
Press Read / Exit Key to confirm your option and exit.
Press Function Key to select turning the alarm on or off.
Press Setting / Selection Key to move the cursor to the position you need to adjust, then
press Function Key to adjust the alarm time.
Repeat the above-listed steps to adjust the alarm time.
Press Read / Exit Key to confirm your alarm setting and exit.
When the alarm icon appears on the LCD in standby mode or OFF mode, it indicates that an
alarm has been turned on. When all alarms are turned off, the alarm icon will not be
displayed.

At the designated time of alarm, the pager will remind you of your appointment by alert. The
alarm icon will display on it’s LCD to indicate the alarm is turned on.
Note: You can set a maximum of 3 alarms. The 3 alarms are for daily timed alarming. La note:
vous pouvez régler le maximum de 3 alarmes. Les 3 alarmes sont pour alarmer chronométré
quotidien
4.11 Setting language Langue de montage
You can set language option in the following menu: Vous pouvez régler l'option de langue
dans le menu suivant
or
The optional languages are ENGLISH and FRENCH. Les langues facultatives sont
ANGLAISES et françaises
In “SET FRENCH” function menu, press Setting / Selection Key to confirm and come
into the interface of French version. Dans “FRANÇAIS DE SERIE” le menu de fonction,
la presse Réglant/la Clef de Sélection pour confirmer et venir dans l'interface de version
française
You can also set English option in the same way if the pager’s interface is the interface of
French version. Vous pouvez régler aussi l'option anglaise dans la façon pareille si le
pager’l'interface de s est l'interface de version française.
In “RGLR ANGLAIS” function menu, press Setting / Selection Key to confirm and come
into the interface of English version. Dans “RGLR ANGLAIS” le menu de fonction, la
presse Réglant/la Clef de Sélection pour confirmer et venir dans l'interface de version
anglaise.

Note: This function is available only in the pager of French version. In the pager of English
version, the above-listed two menus would not appear on its LCD. La note: Cette fonction
est disponible seulement dans le pager de version française. Dans le pager de version anglaise,
l'au-dessus d'-énuméré deux menus n'apparaîtraient pas sur son LCD.
4.12 Background light Lumière d'arrière-plan
In standby mode, you can press Function Key for 2 seconds to turn on or turn off the
background light. Dans le mode d'état d'attente, vous pouvez appuyer la Clef de
Fonction pour vers de 2 seconde pour allumer ou tourner de la lumière d'arrière-plan.
In turn-off state, you can press Function Key for 2 seconds to turn on the background
light and press Function Key or Setting / Selection Key again to turn off it. Dans
l'état de virage-de, vous pouvez appuyer la Clef de Fonction pour vers de 2 seconde pour
allumer la lumière d'arrière-plan et appuie sur Fonction Principal ou Réglant/la Clef de
Sélection encore pour tourner d'il.
The background light can be turned off automatically in 8 seconds, when no keys are
pressed. Après avoir a allumé la lumière d'arrière-plan, si vous n'appuyez pas de clef, la
lumière d'arrière-plan peut être tournée d'automatiquement dans de 8 seconde.
5. Points for attention:
Avoid being close to humidity, high temperature, magnetic field or dropping pager.
If you have any quality problem or trouble, please contact the company that sold the pager to
you for service.
Do not open and repair your pager for any reason as this will void the warranty.
