To attach and remove the flash unit
1 . For your flash pictures, be sure the camera ¡s set to ,,auto,, (4).
2. Slide the lever (5,A) all the way to the unlocked f position, as shown.
3. Slide the tab (6,A) into rhe groove on the side of the camera.
4. Align the blades with the flash sockets (7,A). lnsert rhe blades into the
sockets.
5. Push down on the unit and slide the lever all the way to the locked $
position (8,A). Be sure the flash unit is securely attached to the
camera.
To remove the flash: Slide the lever to the unlocked f position. L¡ft the
unit up and over.
To turn the un¡t on
Slide the switch (9,A) to the 1 (ON) position, as shown. When the ready
light (9,B) comes on, the flash is charged and ready.
Taking the pacture
See your camera instruction book for flash picture hints. Remember, the
flash range with this flash unit is gOcm to 3. 1m (3 to 1O ft). you will get
particularly good results when your subject is 1 . Sm to ,l . gm (5 to 6 fi.)

Hold the camera'as shown (10); do not let your fingers block the camera
lens, electric eye, or front of the flash unit. When tñe ready light goes on,
you are ready to take the picture.

contact your dealer or the nearest Polaroid office.
Warranty
lf this product proves to be defective within the warranty period we
will repair it, or at our option, replace ¡t w¡th a similar product with-
out charge. The warranty period is three years from the original
purchase date. To verify the warranty period, you should keep
the sales slip or other proof of the purchase date. This war-
ranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, or tam-
pering with the product, and a charge will be made for such repairs.
The above warranty and provisions do not affect your statutory
rights.
For warranty service, the product must be returned to and
repaired by a Polaroid Service Center or Authorized Service Center.
