operatedusinga relatedapp on your smartphone.
Recordedvideosarestoredon thesuppliedSDcardand previousrecordingsareoverwritten.
Ifthedashcamdetectsashake/vibrationoriftheradarsensoris triggered,therecordedvideoisstored
separatelyandnotoverwritten. Recordingscan be downloaded directlyfromtheSD cardor via theapp.

For vehicle handover:
• Togetherwiththe customer,check whetherafirmwareupdatevia "Porsche Dashcam App" is
necessary. Perform the firmwareupdatetogether if necessary.
• Togetherwiththe customer,choose the"Region/State/Country"byselectingtherelevantflagand
formatthe SD card.
Other information for the customer:

Observethefollowingpoints during positioning/alignment:
• Sufficientdistancebetweenfrontcamera and interior mirrorbase: at least 5
mm/0.2in!
• Getanother person standingin frontofthevehicle to check andconfirmthe
horizontalalignment ofthecamerawiththe PORSCHE logo!
2.1.4 Positionfrontcamera with retainerplateinthevehicle at themarking on the wind-
shield.
2.1.5 Getanotherpersontotrace and shadein the outlineof the retainer plate on the
outsideofthe windshieldusingamarkingpencil/chalk.
2.1.6 Clean the inside of the windshield in the bonding area for the retainer plate (shaded
area)toremoveanydustandgrease.
2.2 Installfrontcamera(dashcam)onthe windshield
NOTICE
Adhesive films not prepared/installed correctly
•Damagetoadhesivefilms
• Inadequate adhesion of adhesive films
Carefully clean the areas on which you intend to stick the film to ensure that all traces
of oil, grease and silicone are completely removed.
Do not touch the bonding surfaces.
Object (adhesive film, vehicle, etc.) and ambient temperature: Minimum temperature
15°C / 59°F.
