Controller functions:
The device allows to control one
tubular motor. It has a built-in
receiver compatible with all 433
MHz PORTOS radio transmitters
and a possibility to attach a
pushbutton*. The controller can be
installed in a gang box.

Programming of the controller

There are two possible ways of setting the receiver:
Setting via a remote – if there is a possibility to switch off and on the power supply for each motor
separately
Setting via the setting switch – when there is no possibility to disconnect each motor separately from
the power supply

Programming a remote (1 method)
1. Choose the channel on the remote that You want to program.
2. Switch on the power supply (confirms with short movement).
3. Press the P2 button on the active channel of the remote. The receiver enters the programming
mode (LED is flashing and You can hear a beep ).
4. Press the P2 button on the remote twice and after that Up or DOWN button, depending on the side
the motor is mounted in the roller shutter.
5. The receiver confirms the programming by short movement of the roller shutter and finishes the
programming procedure (LED switches off as well as the beep).

Programming a remote (2 method )
1. Choose the channel on the remote that You want to program.
2. Press the setting switch on the receiver for 3 seconds. The device enters the programming mode (
confirms with a short movement and a beep).
3. Press the P2 button on the remote twice and after that Up or DOWN button, depending on the side
the motor is mounted in the roller shutter.
4. The receiver confirms the programming by short movement of the roller shutter and finishes the
programming procedure (LED and beep switch off).

Removing the controller settings from a particular channel (1 method)
(the receiver needs to be programmed already)
1. Choose the channel on the remote that You want to remove the receiver from.
2. Switch on the powers supply to the receiver (confirms with short movement)
3. Press the P2 button on the particular channel of the remote. The receiver enters the
programming mode (LED is flashing and You can hear a beep)
4. Press the P2 button on the remote (confirms with a short movement)
5. Press the STOP button on the remote (confirms with a short movement)
6. Press the P2 button on the remote (confirms with a short movement)
7. The receiver confirms the removing by short movement of the roller shutter and finishes the
programming procedure (LED and the beep switch off)

Removing the settings

Resetting the (1 method):
1. The remote does not need to be programmed.
2. Switch OFF the power supply for 3 seconds.
3. Switch ON the power supply for 3 seconds.
4. Switch OFF the power supply for 3 seconds.
5. Switch ON the power supply.
6. The motor confirms entering of the resetting procedure by short movement up and down twice.
7. Push the P2 button on any channel of any remote ( confirms with short movement).
8. Push the STOP button on the remote ( the motor confirms by short movement of the roller shutter
and finishes the resetting).

Resetting the receiver (2 method ):
1. Press the setting switch on the receiver for 3-5 seconds. The device enters the resetting
procedure (LED flashes and You can hear a beep).
2. Press again the setting switch on the receiver for 5 seconds. The device finishes the resetting
procedure (LED and beep switch off).

1. The remote must be already programmed.
2. Push the P2 button twice on the already existing channel of a remote.
3. Press the P2 button on the remote that You want to add ( confirms with short movement)

Installation:
Read this operating instruction carefully before assembly. The controller does not require any
periodical maintenance. The installation must be done according to this instruction manual.
After opening the package, check the device for any visible defects. If such defects occur please
inform the supplier and under no circumstances install the device. In order to work properly, the
controller needs to be supplied with current 230 V, 50 Hz. Only qualified and authorized
electricians may proceed with the installation. In addition, it is essential that one complies with the
safety regulations and follows the instruction manual.
The following diameter of wires are to be used when installing the controller:
- 1,5 – 2,5 mm2 for the power supply
- 0,75 – 1,5 mm2 for installing the tubular motor
- 0,75 mm2 for local switch
CAUTION !!!
• General safety regulations need to be taken into account when installing the device
• A switch/pushbutton cannot be connected to the motor parallel to the controller, only via the
device
• The controller may be installed, eg. in a gang box behind the switch/pushbutton. The protection
class of the device is IP 44. When mounting outside place the controller in a proper casing in order
to protect it from water, humidity, etc.
• Switch off the power supply when connecting the device
• XT-R devices must not be installed in their direct vicinity of each other - the minimum distance
must be 20 cm.
