The Cyclone Dust Collection Separator Lid turns a shop vacuum
and 5 gallon bucket (with a maximum diameter of 11-3/4") into a
2-stage cyclone separator. The Cyclone Dust Collection System
causes a vortex action inside the bucket to collect debris before it
enters the vacuum, this helps prevent the loss of suction power.
NOTE: The 5 gallon bucket is sold separately. For the best fit,
purchase the type of 5 gallon bucket commonly found at most big
box stores.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always follow basic safety precautions including the following.
WARNING
For your own safety, read, understand and follow the owner’s
manual and all labels on the tools and dust collector/vacuum
before using any tool or equipment.
WARNING
Some dust created by operation of power tool contains chemicals
known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects
or other reproductive harm. To reduce your exposure to these
chemicals, work in a well ventilated area and work with approved
safety equipment. Always wear OSHA/NIOSH approved, properly
fitting face mask or respirator when using such tools. .

WARNING
Do not attempt to operate tool until it is completely assembled
according to the instructions.
WARNING
Metal shavings or dust can set sawdust on fire. Collect wood
materials only. Do not collect metal shavings or dust with anything
that has metal in it. Disconnect dust collector system from any tool
before working on metals. Remove all traces of wood dust from
inside that tool’s dust traps. Remove all traces of metal shavings
or dust before reconnecting the vacuum/dust collector.
IMPORTANT: To prevent static build-up, make sure the hose
is grounding. Always ensure the dust collection network is
properly grounded. If in doubt, contact an electrician.

NOTE: This kit contains the lid and elbow only, hoses or
fittings required to connect to shop vacuum or dust collector
and machine port are sold separately.
NOTE: Contact the customer service center if any of these parts
are missing.
NOTE: After unit is assembled dispose of all packaging material
in an environmentally safe way.
INSTALLATION
Refer to Figure 2, 3
1. Place the bucket lid upside down and attach the elbow to
one of the holes in the lid. Make sure the elbow is oriented
as shown in Figure 1 and does not face the other hole.

2. Place the lid onto the plastic bucket.

3. Connect the system to a shop vacuum or dust collector.
The shop vacuum or dust collector MUST be connected
to the dust port WITHOUT the elbow. The lid accepts
2-1/2" ID dust collection hoses. Actual ports size,
OD 2-15/32", ID 2-19/64".Components for connecting
the system to a shop vacuum or dust collector are
sold separately.
4. After the system is connected to a shop vacuum or dust
collector, connect the system to the tool being used.
The components needed for these connections are
sold separately.
NOTE: Empty the bucket when it is half full for
maximum performance.
