Precautions for safety
| Tips for installation
The appliance shall be installed in accordance with
national wiring regulations.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
If a problem occurs with the product, turn it off
immediately and contact the dealership or customer
service center.
(Otherwise, it may cause damage and explosion of
the product as well as injury.)
Unpacking and installation shall be done at a flat
and safe place.
(Otherwise, it may cause malfunction of the product
or injury.)
After installing and repairing the product, be sure to
check for leaking of refrigerant.
(Otherwise, it may cause failure of the product.)
When installing the product, be sure to level it.
(Otherwise, it may cause vibration, noise,
and malfunction of the product.)

| Tips for installation
The dimensions of the space necessary for correct
installation of the appliance including the minimum
permissible distance to adjacent structures.
(Install at least 500mm from the wall)
Do not shake the product.
(Otherwise, it may cause injury or failure of the
product.)

Install the product so that it does not come in direct
contact with salt or salt water (e.g., sea breeze, etc.)
(Otherwise, it may cause failure of the product.).
Be sure to install the product in a space that is
protected from rain. The Ingress Protection rating of
this product is IP 54 based on the portable outdoor
unit fan.
(Consistently exposing to rain may cause malfunction
of the product.)
Condensed water is discharged through the forced
discharge line in a condition of high humidity (e.g.,
heavy rain). Put a water trap on the forced discharge
line or connect it to a drain (Applicable for some of
the product models.).
Use independent power supply for the power line,
and make sure not to use with other home
appliances through multi-plug power strips.
(Otherwise, it may cause fire or electric shock.)
Do not store and use any explosive or flammable
materials near the air conditioner.
(Otherwise, it may cause fire or product failure.)
Do not use the product for an extended period in an
enclosed space.
(Otherwise, it may cause suffocation.)

| Tips for use
Do not use the product in a situation of heavy rain,
storm or typhoon. If the product gets wet, you must
contact the dealership or customer service center.
(Otherwise, it may cause malfunction, power failure,
fire or electric shock.)
If a strange sound, smell or smoke occurs from the
product, turn the power off immediately and contact
the dealership or customer service center
(Otherwise, it may cause fire or failure of the
product.)
Do not arbitrarily disassemble the product while in
operation.
(Otherwise, it may cause malfunction or electric
shock.)
Ventilate frequently when using the product with
a combustion device.
(Otherwise, it may cause lack of oxygen, which leads
to suffocation.)
Children shall not play with the appliance.
(Otherwise, it may cause injury.)
Avoid excessive cooling and ventilate frequently
when using the product for an extended period.
(Excessive cooling is harmful to your health.)

Do not place obstacles near the inlet and outlet of
the product.
(Otherwise, it may cause malfunction of the product
and fire.)
The heat exchanger of the product has a sharp
surface, so be careful when cleaning it.
(Otherwise, it may cause injury.)
Clean and remove dust from the surface and filter of
the heat exchanger.
(Being contaminated causes decreased cooling
capacity and malfunction of the product.)
Do not place heavy objects on the product.
(Otherwise, it may cause injury or malfunction of the
product.)
Attach the filter of the Portable Indoor Unit before
using and clean it when it gets contaminated.
Do not put your hands or other foreign objects into
the air inlet and exhaust while the air conditioner is
operating.
(Otherwise, it may result in injury.)

1. Daily check the vibration and noise.
2. Daily check and record with outdoor and indoor temperatures.
3. Monthly cleaning of air filter. The air filter is fitted to remove dust from return or fresh air. If the
air filter is unclean for long time, it may be clog and interrupt the air way, which reduces the
cooling capacity.
4. Monthly make sure the screws of electric wiring. Cut off the power source and check the terminal.
5. Appliance maintenance requires to work after power down.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be mad by
children without supervision.
This appliance is intended to be used by expert or
trained users in shops, in light industry and on farms,
or for commercial use by lay persons.

How to operate
Name of each part of the Digital Control Panel and how to operate
•There may be some differences depending on the model.
•The appearance of the product may be slightly different to improve functions.
Display current temperature Select operation mode
Select air volume
Display 3 levels of air volume
Models for cooling only: Cooling, ventilation
Models for cooling & heating: Cooling, heating, ventilation
Use “+” and “-” buttons to set the
timer on an hourly basis.
Click this button again to cancel the
timer function.
These are buttons to raise/lower 1 degree for each click and if the set
temperature is lower than the current temperature, it operates in the cooling
mode, and if it is higher than the current temperature, it switches to the
ventilation mode.
(Recommended range for setting temperature: 5℃ ~ 30℃)
(However, if the set temperature is higher than the current temperature, it
operates in the heating mode, and if it is lower than the current temperature,
it switches to the ventilation mode when the heating mode is set.)
It is a button to operate or stop the
product and the ON/OFF state repeats
for each click.
Press and hold this button for
2 seconds to operate the product
(to prevent malfunction of the
product).
For each click, it cycles in the order of cooling-ventilation-cooling mode.
(To protect the product, when switching from ventilation to cooling
mode, there is a 3-minute delay before switching to cooling mode.)
However, for models for cooling and heating, it cycles in the order of
heating-ventilation-heating mode for each click when the heating mode
is set.

Disassemble the front panel cover with both hands
(magnetic contact type).
Remove internal filter, wash and dry it.

Disassemble the front panel cover with both hands. Remove internal filter, wash and dry it.
Remove bolts on the side panel cover.

How to connect the connection hose

Connect the Flex connection hose to the connector. After connecting, assemble it with dedicated tools.
How to store the product
When the product is not in use, disconnect the
power before storage.
Store the product in a place with low humidity and
good ventilation.
When storing the product, cover the exterior again
with a used plastic bag or the original box.
Do not place heavy objects on the product.

Checklist before reporting failures

It is not cool when the
cooling mode is set.
Is the cooling area of the product suitable
for cooling?
Check if the model is for suitable cooling
(refer to the cooling area listed in the
catalog).
Aren't there many heat sources indoors? Check if the factors raising temperature
is excessive. Cooling efficiency is
decreased when the operating temperature
is excessively high or low.
Is the inlet/outlet of the product blocked?
Check if the inlet of the product is blocked,
and if the filter and heat exchanger is
clean.
Check if the cooling mode is set on the
control panel.
Check if the control panel is set to
ventilation mode. (Cool wind does not
come out when the ventilation mode is
set.)
It doesn’t work. Check the power plug connection. Check if the power plug is connected,
and if the power supply is separated from
other appliances.
Hasn’t the circuit breaker of the main
power been tripped?
Check if the circuit breaker of the main
power terminal box has been tripped.
Is there a power failure? Check if other home appliances are
operating normally.
There is a lot of noise
during operation.
Is the product installed on a flat surface? Check if the surface on which the product
is installed is flat.
Is there a lot of noise inside the body of
the Portable Outdoor Unit?
There may be a problem with the compres-
sor. Turn the product off immediately and
contact the customer service center.
Check if there is any foreign matter in the
operating fan of the product.
If there is a foreign matter in the operating
fan, remove itr.
Check the air volume. The stronger the wind, the louder the
noise.
Dew condensation
appears on the
Portable Indoor Unit.
Isn’t the humidity too high inside? It is not a malfunction, but a natural
phenomenon caused by high humidity in
the air. Wipe it off with a dry towel.

Product warranty
※ If you do not have a warranty, the period will be calculated from the date
after a month from the manufacturing date.
You can get warranty as below.
The product is made through the process of strict quality control and inspection.
During the warranty period, free repair service is provided when there are failures in
performance and mechanical, provided that the customer used the product normally.
Even during the warranty period, the following cases are not covered by the warranty
and the cost of repair may be charged.
1) Failure or defect of the product caused by intention, error or carelessness by customers.
2) When the product was disassembled or modified by a person other than our staff or
designated service engineer.
3) Failure caused by abnormal power supply
4) Failure or defect of the product caused by natural disaster
When applying for free repair, you must present this product warranty.
The warranty cannot be reissued, so please keep it in a safe place.
