10 GB/IE
SafetySafety
PLEASE KEEP ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND IN-
STRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!
Avoid the danger of death
from electric shock!
Before installation, check the motion detector, as
well as connection cords to ensure that these are
intact. A defective product and defective cords in-
crease the risk of electrical shock. A defective prod-
uct and defective cords increase the risk of electrical
shock.
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Before installation or performing any
work on the lamp, switch off the electrical circuit at
the circuit breaker box or remove the fuse from the
fuse box.

11GB/IE
SafetySafety
Only install the motion detector while wearing dry
clothing and preferably, shoes with rubber soles or
while using an insulation mat.
If not working properly, only allow the sensor 1to
be repaired by an electrician.
Never take the product apart.
How to avoid personal injury and
damage to the product!
RISK OF FATAL
INJURY AND ACCIDENT HAZARD
FOR TODDLERS AND SMALL CHIL-
DREN! Never leave children unattended with the
packaging material or the product. The packaging
material poses a suffocation hazard, and there is a
risk of fatal injury by electric shock. Children often
underestimate dangers. Please keep children away
from the device at all times.

12 GB/IE
MountingSafety
Children or persons who lack the knowledge or ex-
perience to use the device or whose physical, sen-
sory or intellectual capacities are limited, must never
be allowed to use the device without supervision or
instruction by a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised at all times so that they
do not play with the device.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! Do not
operate the motion detector in potentially explosive
environments containing flammable vapours, gases
or dusts.
Never exceed the maximum rated supply voltage of
240V∼.
Avoid extreme temperature fluctuations. Install the
product only if the ambient temperatures are accept-
able.
Installation should be performed by an electrician
who is familiar with the regulations and risks.
Never take the product apart.

13GB/IE
MountingSafety
Mounting
Select a suitable place for
installation
Ensure that
– the motion detector will not be functionally inhibited at
the desired place of installation due to obstacles or
constantly moving objects.
– the motion detector is not installed where there are
strong temperature fluctuations, e.g. due to heating
devices or air conditioners.
Installation
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC
SHOCK! Before installation, switch off the electri-
cal circuit at the circuit breaker box or remove the
fuse from the fuse box.

14 GB/IE
Mounting/ Start-upMounting
Note: The recommended installation height is be-
tween 1.8 and 2.5 m.
Note: Before installation, ensure an optimal direc-
tion of motion. The motion detector reacts more
sensitively to movement from the side than to motion
from the front (see Ill. A). Therefore, we recommend
installing the motion detector 1to the side of the
direction of movement.
Note: To attach the base plate 2it is necessary
to drill two holes. We recommend a drill with a
6 mm diameter.
Remove the screws 4from the front of the motion
detector by screwing them in the direction of
rotation (see Ill. B).
Insert the cable through the cable opening of the
base plate 2.
Screw the base plate 2to the desired position.
Connect the cable to the screw terminal 3of the
motion detector as depicted in Ill. C.

15GB/IE
Mounting/ Start-upMounting
Attach the cover of the connection area back to the
base plate 2by screwing the screws 4in the
direction of rotation .
Start-up
Turn the electricity back on. The device is now ready
for use.
Setting the lighting duration of the
device (Ill. D)
Note: the lighting duration of the device can be set
from min. 10 sec. to max 7 min.
Turn the control knob TIME 5in the direction „-” in
order to decrease the lighting duration of the device.

16 GB/IE
Error AnalysisStart-up
Turn the control knob TIME 5in the direction „+“
in order to increase the lighting duration of the
device.
Note: The lighting duration is always calculated
based on the respective last movement recorded by the
sensor 1.
Setting the light sensitivity (Ill. D)
Turn the control knob LUX 6in the direction „ “.
The sensor 1is in the night operation mode and
does not react to light values below 3 Lux.
Turn the control knob 6in the direction „ “. The
sensor 1is in the night and day operation mode.
Note: the intermediate range is for various light
values.

Error AnalysisStart-up
Error Analysis
Note: The function of the device is dependent on on
the outside temperature. Functional errors may occur
due to strong temperature fluctuations.
Problem Solution
The connected
lighting does
not illuminate.
a) Check to ensure that the elec-
trical cord and the device are
connected correctly.
b) Replace defective lighting
material.
c) Check the setting of the light
sensitivity.

18 GB/IE
Error Analysis/ Cleaning and CareError Analysis
The sensor de-
tection is im-
paired.
a) Check if the sensor 1is
covered by an object.
b) Check the setting of the light
sensitivity.
c) Check if the object to be de-
tected is outside of the sensor
range 1.
d) Check if the recommended
installation height has been
observed.
The lighting
does not turn
off.
a) Check if there is an object in
the range of the sensor 1,
which is constantly moving
and provides for constant
activation of the lighting.
b) Check the setting of the light-
ing duration.

19GB/IE
Error Analysis/ Cleaning and CareError Analysis
The lighting
does not turn
off.
c) Check if the nominal voltage
conforms with the technical
data of the product.
d) Change the location of the
motion detector, respectively
avoid air conditioners, fans,
heating devices, etc. in the
sensor range of the motion
detector.
Cleaning and Care
Never use cleaners or a rough cloth. These may
damage the sensor 1.
Clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth.
