ATTENTION :
Read this booklet carefully as it contains important instructions for a safe installation, use
and maintenance.
Important instructions to be kept for future reference.
1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. This appliance must be used only for the purpose it was expressly designed; any use
NOT complying with the instructions contained in the manual is considered
inappropriate and dangerous. The manufacturer is NOT responsible for possible
damages caused by the inappropriate and/or unreasonable use.
3. This appliance is NOT suitable to be used in an explosive environment (in the presence
of flammable substances such as gas, vapour, mist or dust, in atmospheric conditions
when, after ignition, the combustion is spread in the air). Items containing these
substances should never be placed in the appliance, and never be used to clean the
appliance in order to avert the risk of fire or explosion.
4. This appliance must NOT be used for vacuuming toxic, volatile, or flammable
substances. When using the appliance to vacuum fireplace ash, use only the metal
hose & aluminium tube to vacuum the fire place ash. NO ashes with a temperature
higher than 50C or anything that is still burning or smoking, such as cigarettes,
matches or hot ashes in which the fire had not been completely extinguished shall be
vacuumed.
5. This appliance must NOT be used for vacuuming small, sharp pieces of metal or other
hard materials which may damage the tubes, hose, filtration system and etc., or clumps
of hair which may block the absorbing inlet, tube or hose and clog the filtration system.
If this happens, please switch off the appliance, unplug the appliance and remove the
blockage.
6. The appliance must NOT be used to clear sewers. An explosion may occur if the
machine suctions sewer gases. Sewer gases inhalation may lead to unconsciousness
and death.
7. It is NOT recommended to use the appliance for cleaning open stoves or other devices
that contains oil or grease, soot, clay dust, plaster or other similar materials that are
resistant to water action.
8. The packing materials (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) must be kept out of
the reach of children or disabled persons since they represent potential sources of
danger.
9. The installation/assembly of the appliance will be made in accordance with the
indications of the manufacturer. A wrong procedure may cause damages to persons,
animals or objects, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible.
10. Place and use the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface. The
appliance shall NOT be placed on a surface or in the vicinity of objects which can be
damaged by heat, such as carpets or plastics.
11. Before use, check the integrity of the appliance and power cable. In case you are not
sure, contact a qualified person. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by

the manufacturer or its service agent or a qualified technician in order to avoid a shock
hazard.
12. Before powering the appliance make sure the rating (voltage and frequency)
corresponding to the grid and the socket is suitable for the plug of the appliance, and
that the wall socket is properly grounded.
13. DO NOT power the appliance using multiple sockets. If possible, avoid the use of
adapters and/or extension cables; if their use is absolutely necessary, use only
materials in compliance with the current safety regulations and according to the
electrical parameters of the adapters.
14. The appliance must NOT be switched on using external timers and/or other remote
control appliances which are not specified in this manual.
15. Any accessories NOT recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries to
persons. Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting either hose
or accessories.
16. If you are using the appliance for the first time, you should:
a. Clean the appliance with water using a non-abrasive sponge.
b. Use the appliance only if the filter or dust bag is installed! This is especially so if the
surroundings to be vacuumed is extremely dusty. Failure to do so will only send the
dust back out after being suctioned. DO NOT use other filters except the ones (fire
prevention filter) attached to the appliance by the manufacturer.
c. Use the appliance only if the turbine is in a good working condition and is tightly
secured by the Barrel clips to the Dust / Water container before turning on this
appliance. Failure to do this could cause a risk of injury to persons and would defeat
the utility of the appliance.
d. Be extra careful when vacuum cleaning on stairs as the machine might topple.
e. Switch off the appliance and unplug the socket from the electric mains when not in
use and before storing, filling, emptying, cleaning or performing any maintenance
operation.
Make sure to remove any label or protective sheet which may prevent its proper
functioning.
DO NOT:
cover the appliance during functioning;
obstruct totally nor partially the air outlet with anything that may reduce the suction,
such as dust, lint, hair, etc.;
insert objects or body parts inside the protection cover of the appliance;
use the appliance near curtains or textiles;
carry the machine with your hand while using the machine for cleaning operations;
use the appliance for more than 20 minutes without turning it off for at least 10
minutes for a total usage of 2 hours in a single day – failure to heed this warning may
result in motor failure;

leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.
17. Plug and unplug the power cable with dry hands and hold it firmly. Always unplug the
power cable to avoid overheating and avoid stretching it. DO NOT pull it, tug it or use it
to drag the appliance to which is connected. Before unplugging the appliance, turn the
‘ON/OFF’ dial on the appliance to ‘OFF’.
18. Hold the plug when rewinding the power cable. DO NOT allow the plug and the cable to
whip around when rewinding. DO NOT use the cable as a handle, pull or carry the
appliance by the cable, pull the cable around sharp edges, abrasive surfaces or
corners, run the appliance over the cable or close a door on the cable. Keep the cable
away from heated surfaces, abrasive or sharp surfaces or in positions where it can be
damaged easily.
19. Avoid bending, stamping and dragging the hose. DO NOT use the vacuum cleaner if
the hose is damaged.
20. During operation, DO NOT touch the appliance with wet body parts, and it is
recommended to have between you and the standing surface, an isolating element (for
example, wearing shoes with rubber soles). DO NOT use the appliance to clean up
liquids outdoors, upon an earth floor. If it should be necessary to step on a wet or damp
floor to pick up water, do not touch the metallic parts of ANY electric device, lamp or
switch while performing this operation.
21. In the event a filter bag is unavailable, the appliance can still be used for its intended
purpose by suctioning the dust through water. Make sure the Dust / Water container is
filled with a small amount of water, and change the water frequently. DO NOT operate
the appliance for too long without changing the water. When you notice that the water is
getting too full of dust and fuzz, throw it away and replace it with clean water. Always
empty the water container after each use.
22. The water level must never be above the maximum level. Excess water in the water
container will cause shaking and vibration. If this occurs, the vibrations are your
warning that the water container is overfilled.
23. DO NOT soak the appliance in water or other liquids, wash it under the tap, or let any
liquid flow into the internal casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock. In case of
accidental fall in water, DO NOT try to take it out, but first of all unplug immediately the
power cable from the socket.
24. Always remember to unplug the power cable of the appliance if it is NOT used for a
long period, before storing, cleaning or performing any maintenance operation
25. Avoid carrying out operations which are NOT specified in this manual (such as
disassembling and/or altering).
26. In case of malfunction or anomaly during the functioning, switch off the appliance
immediately, turn off the power and check the cause of the anomaly, if possible, with the
support of a qualified person.
27. If smoke is observed coming out of the appliance, unplug the power cable immediately.
28. This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications, such as:
Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
Dormitories;

By clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments;
Bed and breakfast type environments.
29. Store and use the appliance only indoors, or in any case, protected from weathering
such as rain, direct radiation of the sun and dust.
30. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall NOT play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall NOT be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of
children less than 8 years old.

1. Remove and clean the turbine after each use. Wash it inside and out with water and
soap, using a non-abrasive brush.
2. Dry it and put in place again.
3. Tighten the nut by hand until the flat surface of the turbine is properly adjusted.
4. Do not over tighten, as the turbine automatically tightens upon starting the machine.
5. The turbine is the key for separating the dirty water from the airflow and proper care is
important for the performance of your appliance.
6. If the turbine should become damaged (chipped or broken), bring the appliance to the
Service Center for checks and repairs.
WARNING: the appliance must NEVER be used without the turbine. Always place it back
after cleaning it.
ENVIRONMENTAL TIP s

This appliance, along with all other electronic appliances, should, when it is no longer
capable of functioning, be disposed with the least possible environmental damage
according to the local regulations in your area. In most cases you can discard the appliance
at your local recycling center.
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such
waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
WARRANTY s
The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s
own country of residence, with a minimum of 1 year, starting from the date on which the
appliance is sold to the end user.
The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship.
The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorised service centre. When
making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date clearly
indicated) must be submitted.
The warranty will not apply in cases of:
normal wear and tear
if the steps (as laid out in the section regarding Warnings) have not been observed e.g.
overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
if the appliance has not been properly maintained, if force has been used against it or if
it has been damaged in any other way
damage caused by non-observance of the user manual or non-compliance with the
installation instructions
errors or faults owing to defects in the distribution system
if the appliance has been repaired or modified or changed in any way or by any person
not properly authorized
