Battery scanning procedure
Each battery must be turned on (the blue LED must be ON) prior to scanning
•Connect the longer RJ45 cable to the battery monitoring RJ45 port (1) at the front of
the PowerLink module
•Connect the the other end of the cable into the upper port of the top-most battery
•In your web browser, press the “Scan” button - the BMS serial number will be
displayed when complete
•Unplug the cable from the battery and move it to the upper port of next battery and
press the “Scan’ button again - continue until all batteries have been scanned
Cabling
Once all batteries have been scanned, the PowerLink module must be connected via
the battery monitoring RJ45 port (1), to the upper port on the first battery.
•Using the 30cm RJ45 cables, plug a cable from the lower port of the first battery (the
top-most battery), to the upper port of the battery below
•Continue this process until all batteries are connected to each other
•Connect the Termination Plug into the lower port of the last battery
•All batteries should now have both RJ45 ports on the front connected
