Product Information
The PowerPlus Energy PowerLink module retrieves the battery performance data from
LiFe and Eco PS Series batteries which have the Australian made Digital Battery
Management System (BMS).
The information provided by the PowerLink module is accessible on most computers,
tablets and phones via web browser. Voltage, current and battery temperature data is
currently available with Power and SOC and other values to be added as we expand the
features.
The PowerPlus Energy batteries have been designed as a stand alone self managed
solution, however the PowerLink module also provides information via MODBUS with
future releases including CANBUS and SNMP options.
The information provided by the PowerLink module will assist in providing the optimum
performance and longevity from your energy storage.

PowerLink module Setup and monitoring
procedure
PowerLink set up
Connect the power adapter to the PowerLink module’s USB-Micro power port (2) and
power on.
Connect an ethernet cable from an internet connected source (modem/router) to the
internet RJ45 port (5) on the right hand side of the PowerLink module.
Web interface setup
Open your WiFi network settings and connect to “PPE-Powerlink-xxxx” where xxxx is
taken from the serial number of the module. The password is “12345678”
Open your web browser - in the address bar, enter: http://192.168.0.10:8822
•Press the “Configuration” button
•Press the “Reset data” button
•Enter the Number of Batteries in this installation and press the “Submit” button

Battery scanning procedure
Each battery must be turned on (the blue LED must be ON) prior to scanning
•Connect the longer RJ45 cable to the battery monitoring RJ45 port (1) at the front of
the PowerLink module
•Connect the the other end of the cable into the upper port of the top-most battery
•In your web browser, press the “Scan” button - the BMS serial number will be
displayed when complete
•Unplug the cable from the battery and move it to the upper port of next battery and
press the “Scan’ button again - continue until all batteries have been scanned
Cabling
Once all batteries have been scanned, the PowerLink module must be connected via
the battery monitoring RJ45 port (1), to the upper port on the first battery.
•Using the 30cm RJ45 cables, plug a cable from the lower port of the first battery (the
top-most battery), to the upper port of the battery below
•Continue this process until all batteries are connected to each other
•Connect the Termination Plug into the lower port of the last battery
•All batteries should now have both RJ45 ports on the front connected

Verifying configuration
Wait for 2 minutes after connecting everything, and then via the web page, click on the
“MultiStat” button.
Verify that all the batteries are responding.
If you are unable to see the status of all the batteries, press the “Configuration” button
and then press the “Restart Polling” button in the configuration page.
Request login details for the portal
The portal URL is: https://performance.powerplus-energy.com.au:3000/login
To gain your login information for the portal, email “[e-mail]"
and provide the following information:
•Subject line: Portal access request
•PowerLink Serial Number
•Site Name
Our support team will then create a login and email it to you the details once complete.
