When transporting, never tilt to more than 45 degrees

4. Minimum space in the room where the refrigerator is being installed

away from direct sunlight, oven etc.

How to Use the Freezer Compartment:
Pre-packed commercially frozen food should be stored in accordance
with the frozenfood manufacturer's instructions for a frozen
food storage compartment
To ensure that the high quality achieved by the frozen food
manufacturerand the food retailer is maintained, the following
should be observed:
- Put packets in the freezer as quickly as possible after purchase.
- Ensure that contents are labelled and dated.
- Do not exceed "Use By" or "Best Before" dates on the packaging
If there is a power failure do not open the door. Frozen food should
not be affected if the failure lasts forless than 14 hrs. If the failure is
longer, then the food should be checked and either eaten
immediately or cooked and then refrozen
Freezing Fresh Food:
Do not freeze too large a quantity atany one time. The quality of the
food is best-preserved when it is frozen right through as quickly as
possible
Do not exceed the freezing capacity of your appliance in 24 h which is

frozen solid. This can temporarily lead toexcessive cooling of the
refrigeration compartment.
Defrosting
After a period of time frost will build up in certain areas in the Freezer
compartment. As a temporary measure, this frost should be scraped away
using the plastic scraper included with the appliance.
NEVER use a metal or sharp instrument. Complete defrosting will however
become necessary approximately once per year, or if the frost layer exceeds
5mm to maintain the efficiency of the Fridge/Freezer.
This should be carried out if the frost build-up cannot be scraped away, or if it
begins to interfere with the food storage. Chose a time when the stock of
frozen food is low and proceed as follow:
1. Take out the frozen food, turn the Fridge/Freezer off at the mains supply
and leave the doors open. Ideally the frozen food should be put into
another Freezer.
2. Scrape away as much frost build-up as possible using the plastic scraper.
To accelerate the thawing process place bowls of hot water inside the
Freezer cabinet.
As the solid frost loosens, prize it away with the plastic scraper and
remove.
3. When thawing/defrosting is complete, remove the water in water tray
that is located atthe back of the appliance above the compressor. Then
clean and dry out your Fridge/Freezer with a dry cloth.

The following guidelines and recommendations are suggested to obtain the
Best results:
1. The fridge compartment is for the short term storage of fresh food
and drinks.
2. The freezer compartment is rated and suitable for the freezing and
storage of pre frozen food. The recommendation for storage as
stated on the food packaging should be observed at all times.
3. Cooked dishes must be stored in airtight covered containers.
4. Fresh wrapped produce can be placed on the shelf. Fresh fruit and
vegetables should be cleaned and stored in the crisper bins.
5. Bottles can be placed in the door section.
6. To store raw meat, wrap in polythene bags and place on the lowest
shelf. Do not allow to come into contact with cooked food to avoid
contamination. For safety, only store raw meat for two to three days.
7. Keep the food packed, wrapped or covered. Allow hot food and
beverages to cool before placing them in the fridge. Do not store
explosive substances.
8. High proof alcohol must be stored upright in sealed containers.
9. Left over canned food should not be stored in the can.
10. Fizzy drinks should not be frozen and products such as flavoured
water ices should not be consumed too cold.
11. Some fruit andvegetables suffer damage if kept at too low a
temperature.
12. Place chilled cooked food and similar food near the rear of the fridge
inner liner where the cold wall is located.
13. Shelves, racks,crisper bins, drawers are all removable.
14. Donot leave frozen food at room temperature to thaw;the best way
to defrost food is to put it in the fridge to thaw slowly.
15. For hygiene reasons, always wrap food using a suitable packaging
material before storing in your appliance to avoid contact with the
appliance surface.

Adjusting the temperature.
Temp Controller
The temperature inside the refrigerator is controlled by a temperature gauge
installed in the fridge freezer. The temperature inside the refrigerator varies
depending on the opening and closing of the appliance doors, the ambient
temperature ofthe room, and the location of the appliance.
Under normal working conditions (spring and autumn), it is suggested that the
gear should be set at 5 degrees in the middle gear.
1. When the temperature range of the refrigerator is from 2 to 8, the
temperature of the refrigerator rises gradually.
2. When strengthening the cooling of refrigeration chamber, please choose
the fast refrigeration gear, so that the compressor running time will be
prolonged, and the refrigerator temperature will be reduced accordingly

Never use any sharp abrasive instrument, soap, household cleaner,
detergent and wax polish for cleaning

Wrap frozen food when you buy it and put it in to the freezer as soon
as possible
