TO OPERATE
CAUTION: Do not touch the socket when your hands are wet.
1. Turn both switches to OFF position.
2. Plug appliance into wall outlet (220-240V~).
3. Turn the main (mist) control to ON position until you hear a “click” sound
and main power light goes ON.
4. The ionizer and ultrasonic misting is now running once power is ON.
Ionizer
The ionizer has the capacity of more than 2.5 million negative ions per cm3. The
ions will be dispersed in the air and trap the impurities such as smoke, pollen
and other suspended particles. This will then be neutralized. This will be a great
aid to controlling allergens and ridding the air of floating particles.
5. Turn switch to desired misting volume output.
WARM MIST
6. Turn heater control switch to ON position. The heater on light goes ON.
ATTENTION: Anytime after use, switch off and unplug the unit.
WATER FILTER
The unit comes with an integral water filter. This removes minerals such as
calcium and chlorine which are present in tap water to a greater or lesser
degree. After a period of time depending on conditions of use the filter will
need cleaning. This is done by adding salt {Sodium Chloride -NaCl} to the
water to release the collected minerals. This process rejuvenates the filter.
REFILL
The humidifier will automatically cut off when water is running out.
Empty tank warning light goes ON.
Turn off and unplug the unit before refilling. The tank will need to be
refilled.
6. Maintenance
CLEANING
Always switch the appliance off and then remove the plug from the
mains socket before cleaning. Clean only with a dry or damp cloth, if
necessary moistened with a little washing liquid. Do not use any
abrasives or detergents.
When necessary disinfect the tank using a mild bleach solution or
'baby bottle' cleaner.
DE-SCALING
De-scale the unit frequently using either a standard kettle de-scaler or
diluted vinegar solution. Do not operate the unit whilst de-scaling is in
process.
DO NOT IMMERSE PRODUCT IN WATER
Caution: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the
humidifier as this could create a fire or electric shock hazard.
CLEANING THE FILTER
When using the filter for the first time please add salt (Sodium Chloride
NaCl) to a container of water and immerse the filter for about 1 hour.
Simple immersion in the salt solution is sufficient. This should be in a
6% solution or approximately one table spoon of table salt in one liter of
water. The filter should be rinsed in purified water after this procedure
and replaced in the tank.
This procedure is recommended after long useof the filter. This will
rejuvenate the filter for long use.
After the season is over or if the unit is to be stored, please repeat this
process before storage so as to get the best results from your filter and
unit. This will keep the Ion Exchange Resin material in optimum
condition.

STORAGE
1Store the appliance after cleaning and drain away any residual water.
Make sure it is dry.
2After the season is over or if the unit is to be stored, please add salt
(Sodium Chloride NaCl) to a container of water and place the filter for
about 1 hour. Please clean in this procedure before storage so as to get
the best results from your filter and unit.
3Wrap the appliance into the original gift box and keep in a cool dry
place.
