BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Before beginning the setup of your moon sensor, please familiarize yourself with
the sensor’s layout and dip switches.

1. Use the DETECTION AREA SETTINGS to set your desired detecon area.
The maximum detecon radius is 65 feet (20 m) and 30 feet (10 m) in
any direcon from the midpoint of the luminaire. The dip switch sengs
allow for the following detecon ranges:

•30 feet (10 m)
•10 feet (3 m)
•3 feet (1 m)
TO SETUP THE MOTION SENSOR
1. Next, use the HOLD TIME SETTINGS to indicate the amount of me you
want the luminaire to remain at 100% illuminaon aer no moon is
detected. The dip switch sengs allow for the following hold mes:
•5 seconds
•30 seconds
•90 seconds
• 3 minutes
•20 minutes
•Disabled
1. Next, use the STAND-BY DIMMING LEVEL SETTINGS
to indicate the reduced light level that you would like the luminaire to
remain at aer no moon is detected and the hold me has elasped. The
dip switch sengs allow for the following light levels:

•50%
•30%
•20%
•10%
1. Use the TURN-OFF PERIOD SETTINGS to set how long the luminaire
should remain at the low light level unl turning o completely. If you
want the luminaire to stay illuminated at the low light level without ever
turning o completely, congure the switches to DISABLE. The dip switch
sengs allow for the following hold mes:
•0 seconds
•5 seconds
• 5 minutes
• 10 minutes
• 30 minutes
• 1 hour
•Disabled

Moon sensor sengs are now complete. Note that whenever the luminaire turns on for the rst me, it will perform a self-check process that lasts 15
seconds. During this process, the xture will dim down to a lower light level. This operaon is normal.
