IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
Read all instructions.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
To protect against electric shock, do not place any part of the electric oven in
water or other liquid.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
Do not operate an appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the
nearest authorized service center for examination, repair, or adjustment.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause hazard or injury.
When operating the oven, keep at least four inches of space on all sides of the
oven to allow an adequate air circulation.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before cleaning. Let it to cool before putting
on or taking parts off, or before cleaning.
To disconnect, turn oven off (turning timer to “0” position) then unplug from power
outlet. Always hold the plug, but never pull the cord.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
Do not wrap crumbs tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This may cause
oven overheating.
Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Small metal pieces can break off the pad
and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in an electric oven as they

may create a risk of fire or electric shock.
A fire may occur if the oven is touching flammable material, including curtains,
draperies, walls, and materials alike, while operating. Do not store any item inside
the oven during operation.
Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers made of other
materials than oven resistant metal or glass.
Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper,
or anything similar.
Do not store anything, other than manufacturer’s recommended accessories, in
this oven when not in use.
Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when inserting or removing items
from the hot oven.
This appliance has a tempered safety glass door. The glass is stronger than
ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can break, but the
pieces will not have sharp edges. Avoid scratching door surface or nicking edges.
If the door has a scratch or nick, take it to the nearest authorized service center for
examination before using the oven.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
The door and the outer surface may be hot when the appliance is working and for
a while after use. DO NOT touch it barehanded. ALWAYS wear protective,
insulated oven mitts when touching the hot oven, hot dishes, or when inserting or
removing rack, pans or baking dishes.
Do not rest cooking utensils or baking dishes on the tempered glass door.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
Ashort power-supply cord should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter-top or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or pets, or tripped over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into
the extension cord. Do not alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being
used with this product. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
plug.

COMPONENTS:
BEFORE USING YOUR TOASTER OVEN FOR THE FIRST
TIME
- Be sure to read all instructions included in this manual.
- Unwind the power cord completely and keep the cord away from the hot parts of
the appliance.
- Make sure oven is unplugged and timer knob is in the “0” position.
- Remove all accessories (baking tray and grill rack) and wash them in hot soapy
water or in a dishwasher. Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble in oven.
Plug oven into the power outlet and then toaster oven is ready to use.
NOTE: During the first use, the unit may emit a small amount of smoke and a slight
smell; this is normal, the unit is burning off the residues from the manufacturing
process and protective coat ofheating elements. The odor is harmless and should not
reoccur after the initial heating. It is recommended to operate oven dry for about 15

minutes in a well ventilated room.
CONTROL PANEL
Please familiarize yourself with the following oven features and accessories prior to
first use:
Thermostat Knob: choose desired temperature. Range goes from 150oF (LOW)
to 465oF (HIGH).
Timer Knob:timer works in two ways:
-Stay On: turn timer knob to the left (counter-clockwise) and the oven will stay on until
manually shut off.
-Timer: turn timer knob to right (clockwise) to set desired time. Abell will sound at end
of programmed time.

Power Indicator: It will illuminate whenever the toaster oven is turned on.
Grill Rack: automatically slide in and out with the glass door. Grill rack is useful for
toasting, baking, and cooking in casserole dishes and standard pans.
Food Tray:use it for broiling and roasting food without spills over heating elements.
HOW TO USE
NOTE: both upper and lower heating elements will be on all the time the toaster
oven is turned on.
TOASTING:
1. Turn thermostat knob clockwise to “HIGH” position.
2. Open the oven door, remove the food tray and place the bread slices on the
grill rack. If toasting a single slice of bread, place it in the center of the grill rack.
If toasting more slices, place them side by side.
3. Turn the time knob to the corresponding time position, between 3 to 5 minutes
for a golden toast. If you want a darker result add a 1 or 2 extra minutes.
NOTE: Results may vary depending on the number of slices toasting at the
same time; 1 slice will be ready in less time than 4.
When setting the timer dial for less than 5 minutes, always rotate timer knob
over 5 minutes and then rotate back to set your desired time. This will ensure a
safe and accurate timer setting. To interrupt process just turn back the timer
knob to “0” position.
4. When the set time elapses the toaster oven will automatically turn off.
WARNING: bread may catch fire if toasting time is too long. Close
supervision is necessary while toasting.
GRILL: (only for small pieces like chicken wings and drumsticks)
1. Arrange food on the food tray.
2. Set time and temperature according to your recipe or food packaging.

3. Preheat oven for a few minutes.
4. Place the food tray on the grill rack. Do not place meat directly on grill rack
because fat will drip over lower heating element or may catch fire.
5. Monitor the food to prevent overcooking.
6. Overturn the food during the process for even cooking, using heatproof kitchen
tongs.
WARNING: Always use oven gloves to avoid the risk of scalding.
7. When the set time elapses the toaster oven will automatically turn off.
DEFROSTING:
1. Arrange food on the food tray. After removing all paper or plastic wrapping.
2. Place the food tray on the grill rack.
3. Set temperature between 150-250oF. (it is not necessary to preheat the oven)
DO NOT set a higher temperature because food may get burned.
4. Defrosting time varies depending on frozen food size and form; set a long
period and monitor repeatedly.
5. Turnover food for even defrosting results. NOTE: time can be shorter if food
can be cut in pieces.
IMPORTANT: cook food immediately after defrosting.
6. When the set time elapses the toaster oven will automatically turn off.
BAKING :(for biscuits, pizza or bread)
1. Suggested temperature setting is 400-465oF. Temperature and time varies
according to food type and thickness. Usually proper temperature for baking
bread or pizza is 400oF. But is recommended to follow your recipe
requirements or indications.
2. Preheat oven for 10 minutes.
3. Place food on baking tray and put it on the grill rack.
4. When the set time elapses the toaster oven will automatically turn off.

5. Remove oven baking tray from the oven carefully, wearing oven mitts.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance.
This toaster oven DOES NOT contain user serviceable parts. DO NOT try to repair it
yourself. Contact a qualified technician if the product requires servicing.
ALWAYS UNPLUG OVEN AND ALLOW TO COOL BEFORE CLEANING
WARNING: To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the
unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
OVEN INTERIOR CLEANING
Your oven features a Quick-Clean coating. If desired, wipe walls with a damp cloth
moistened with mild detergent and dry thoroughly. DO NOT use steel wool scouring
pads or abrasive cleaners or scrape walls or drip pan with metal utensils, as this may
damage the quick-clean interior coating.
ACCESSORIES CLEANING
Wash the accessories (grill rack and food tray) in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.
OVEN EXTERIOR CLEANING
Wipe the door and exterior surfaces with a clean damp cloth, and dry thoroughly with
a paper or cloth towel.
ATTENTION:
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the surfaces finish.
- Dry thoroughly all parts and surfaces prior to plugging oven to power outlet.
STORING
Unplug unit, allow it to cool, and clean before storing. Store this oven in its box in a

clean and dry place.
Never store appliance while it is hot or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly around the
appliance or put any stress on the cord where it enters the unit, as it could cause the
cord to fray and break.

PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES
Cuando se utilizan aparatos eléctricos se debe tener precauciones básicas de
seguridad, incluyendo las siguientes:
Lea todas las instrucciones.
No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice la manija o las perillas.
Se requiere supervisión cuando cualquier aparato es utilizado por o cerca de

La puerta y la superficie exterior se calientan cuando el aparato estáfuncionando
y permanecen calientes por un tiempo después de su uso. NO toque con las

GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
PARA USO DOMÉSTICO ÚNICAMENTE
CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN CORTO
Se debe utilizar un cable eléctrico corto para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o
tropezarse con un cable más largo. Los cables de alimentación desmontables o
extensiones están disponibles y pueden utilizarse si se tiene cuidado en su uso.
Si se utiliza un cable de cable de alimentación más largo o una extensión:
1) La clasificación eléctrica marcada en el cable o en la extensión debe ser al
menos tan alta como la clasificación eléctrica del aparato; y
2) El cable debe colocarse de manera que no cuelgue sobre el mostrador o mesa
donde pueda ser jalado por niños o mascotas, o tropezarse accidentalmente con él.
ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata más ancha que la otra). Para
reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, este enchufe estádiseñado para encajar en
un tomacorriente polarizado de una sola manera. Si el enchufe no entra
completamente en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe. Si aún asíno encaja,
comuníquese con un electricista calificado. No intente modificar el enchufe de

ninguna manera.
Nunca use el enchufe con un cable de extensión a menos que el enchufe pueda
insertarse en su totalidad en el cable de extensión. No altere el enchufe del producto
o cualquier cable de extensión que se utilice con este producto. No intente anular la
característica de seguridad del enchufe polarizado.
COMPONENTES:
ANTES DE UTILIZAR SU HORNO TOSTADOR POR
PRIMERA VEZ
- Asegúrese de leer todas las instrucciones incluidas en este manual.
- Desenrolle el cable de alimentación por completo y manténgalo alejado de las
partes calientes del aparato.
- Cerciórese de que el horno esta desconectado y perilla del temporizador estáen la
posición "0".
- Retire todos los accesorios (bandeja de hornear y parrilla) lávelos en agua caliente
con jabón o en el lavavajillas. Seque completamente todos los accesorios y vuelva a

montarlos en el horno. Enchufe el horno en el tomacorriente y el horno tostador
estarálisto para usar.
NOTA: Durante el primer uso, la unidad puede emitir una pequeña cantidad de humo
y un ligero olor; esto es normal, la unidad estáquemando los residuos del proceso de
fabricación y la capa protectora de las resistencias de calentamiento. El olor es
inofensivo y no debe volver a ocurrir después del calentamiento inicial. Se
recomienda operar el horno vacío durante unos 15 minutos en una habitación bien
ventilada.
PANEL DE CONTROL
Familiarícese con las siguientes características del horno y accesorios antes de
utilizarlo por primera vez:
Control de temperatura
Temporizador
Indicador de encendido

Control de temperatura (TEMP): permite elegir la temperatura. La temperatura
mínima es 65oC (150oF - LOW) y la máxima es 240oC (465oF - HIGH).
Temporizador (TIMER):el temporizador funciona de dos maneras:
-Permanecer encendido (Stay On): gire la perilla del temporizador a la izquierda
(sentido anti-horario) y el horno permanecerá encendido hasta que sea apagado
manualmente.
-Temporizador: gire la perilla del temporizador a derecha (sentido horario) para
ajustar el tiempo deseado, Máximo 60 minutos. Una campana sonará al final del
tiempo programado.
Indicador de encendido: Se iluminará cada vez que el horno tostador esté
encendido.
Rejilla parrillera: se desliza automáticamente con la puerta de vidrio. La rejilla útil
para tostar, hornear y cocinar en cacerolas y moldes estándar.
Bandeja:se utiliza para asar alimentos evitando derrames sobre las resistencias.
MODO DE EMPLEO
NOTA: las resistencias de calentamiento superior e inferior estarán encendidas
todo el tiempo que el horno tostador estéencendido.
TOSTAR
1. Gire la perilla del termostato en sentido horario a la posición "HIGH".
2. Abra la puerta del horno, retire la bandeja y dispongalas rebanadas de pan en
la rejilla de la parrilla. Si va a tostar una sola rebanada de pan, colóquela en el
centro de la rejilla. Si va a tostar más rodajas, colóquelas a los lados.
3. Girela perilla del temporizador al tiempo deseado, de 3 a 5 minutos para dorar.
Si desea un resultado más tostado puede agregar 1 o 2 minutos extra.
NOTA: Los resultados pueden variar de acuerdo al número de rebanadas a
tostar al mismo tiempo; es decir una rebanada estarálista en menos tiempo

que cuatro.
Cuando quiere ajustar un tiempo menor que 5 minutos, siempre gire el
temporizador a más de 5 minutos y luego devuelva la perilla hasta los minutos
deseados. Esto aseguraráun ajuste del temporizador seguro y preciso. Para
interrumpir el proceso lleve el temporizador a la posición "0".
4. Cuando transcurre el tiempo programado el horno tostador se apagará
automáticamente.
ADVERTENCIA: pan puede prender fuego si el tiempo de tostado es
demasiado largo. Es necesario vigilar el horno mientras tuesta.
PARRILLA(sólo para pequeñas piezas como alitas de pollo y muslitos)
1. Coloque la comida en la bandeja de comida.
2. Ajuste el tiempo y la temperatura de acuerdo a su receta o las instrucciones
del empaque de los alimentos.
3. Precalentar el horno durante unos minutos.
4. Coloque la bandeja de comida en la rejilla. No coloque la carne o alimentos
directamente sobre la rejilla de la parrilla porque la grasa puede gotear sobre
las resistencias de calentamiento, creando un riesgo de incendio.
5. Monitorear la comida para evitar una cocción excesiva.
6. Voltee la comida durante el proceso para que se cocinen más uniformemente
utilizando pinzas de cocina resistentes al calor.
ADVERTENCIA: Siempre use guantes para el horno para evitar el riesgo
de quemaduras.
1. Cuando el tiempo ajustado transcurre el horno tostador se apagará
automáticamente.
DESCONGELAR
1. Coloque los alimentos (sin ningún material de empaque) en la bandeja del
horno.
2. Coloque la bandeja sobre la parrilla.

3. Fije la temperatura entre 150-250F (65-121C). (no es necesario precalentar
el horno) NO ajuste una temperatura más alta, porque los alimentos pueden
quemarse.
4. El tiempo de descongelación varía según el tamaño y forma de los alimentos
congelados; establezca un período largo y revise frecuentemente.
5. Voltee los alimentos algunas veces, para obtener una descongelación más
uniforme. NOTA: El tiempo puede ser más corto si la comida se puede cortar
en trozos.
IMPORTANTE: cocine los alimentos inmediatamente después de la
descongelación.
6. Cuando el tiempo ajustado transcurre el horno tostador se apagará
automáticamente.
HORNEAR (para galletas, pizza o pan)
1. Se sugiere una temperatura de 400-465°F (205-240°C). La temperatura y el
tiempo varía según el tipo y grosor de los alimentos. Por lo general, la
temperatura adecuada para la cocción de pan o pizza es 400°F (205°C). Pero
se recomienda seguir los requisitos o indicaciones de las recetas.
2. Precaliente el horno por 10 minutos.
3. Coloque los alimentos en la bandeja y ponga la bandeja sobre la rejilla.
4. Cuando el tiempo ajustado transcurre el horno tostador se apagará
automáticamente.
5. Saque la bandeja del horno con cuidado, usando guantes de cocina.
LIMPIEZAY MANTENIMIENTO
Este aparato requiere poco mantenimiento.
Este horno tostador NO contiene piezas reparables por el usuario. NO intente
repararlo usted mismo. Póngase en contacto con un técnico cualificado si el producto
requiere servicio.

SIEMPRE DESCONECTE HORNO YDEJE QUE SE ENFRÍE ANTES DE
LIMPIARLO
ADVERTENCIA: para protegerse contra el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica, no
sumerja la unidad, el cable o el enchufe en agua u otro líquido.
LIMPIEZADEL INTERIOR DEL HORNO
Su horno cuenta con un revestimiento Quick-Clean (limpieza rápida). Si lo desea,
limpie las paredes con un paño humedecido con un detergente suave y seque bien.
NO utilice esponjillas metálicas o limpiadores abrasivos, ni raspe las paredes o la
bandeja de goteo con utensilios de metal, ya que esto puede dañar el revestimiento
interior.
LIMPIEZADE LOS ACCESORIOS
Lave los accesorios (rejilla y bandeja) en agua caliente con jabón o en el lavavajillas
eléctrico.
LIMPIEZADEL EXTERIOR HORNO
Limpie la puerta y superficies externas con un paño limpio y húmedo, y séquelas con
una toalla de papel o un paño.
ATENCIÓN:
- No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, ya que pueden dañar el acabado de las
superficies.
- Seque a fondo todas las piezas y las superficies antes de conectar el horno al
tomacorriente nuevamente.

ALMACENAMIENTO
Desenchufe el horno tostador, déjelo que se enfríe, y límpielo antes de guardar.
Ponga el horno en su caja y guárdelo en un lugar limpio y seco.
Nunca almacene aparato mientras estécaliente o enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cable
con fuerza alrededor del aparato o ponga presión sobre el cable donde entra en la
unidad, ya que podría ocasionar que se desgaste o se rompa.
