OPERATION
• Locate the PIR switch in position ensuring the wiring does not become trapped
before restoring the mains supply.
• PELB1684 Only - Ensure the over-ride switch is in the o position as otherwise
the load will be switched on permanently regardless of the PIR detection.
NOTE: If the over-ride switch has been turned on, there will be a delay of between 1
to 16 minutes depending on the adjustment setting before the PIR will start to function
after the switch is turned o.
• The light level that the PIR will start to operate at and the time the load will remain
switched on for are both adjustable using the controls on the bottom of the switch
and may need some trial and error before the desired settings are obtained.
NOTE WHEN MAKING ADJUSTMENTS: If any movement is detected by the PIR the
load will be turned on and only when no further movement detection is made will the
timer start to count down.
• Under normal operation when the PIR detects movement the load is turned on and
will remain on until no further movement is detected then the timer will count down
the pre set time period before turning the load o.
