PRO Intellect Technology offers the PRO CS-80E series of EURO coin counters. This manual
will help you to easily and quickly become acquainted with the device, its functions, and its
capabilities. Please read this manual to ensure proper operation of the device.

4 Control panel operation
1. Display – shows counting results.
2. «START/STOP» button starts and continues counting. When you press the
«START/STOP» button during counting, the counter will stop after finishing the current
process.
3. «RPT» button – checks the quantity of the coins in the receiving slots.
In order to view the individual quantity in each receiving slot, press the «RPT» button several
times (as needed). Press this button to exit this mode.
4. «BTH» button turns on the preset mode. The batch quantity for each denomination must
be set separately.
5. «CLR» button clears all the figures on the counting display and resets the batch number.
6. «+» button adds to the batch number by 1 unit.
7. «+10» button adds to the batch number by 10 unit.
8. «-» button reduces the batch number by 1 unit.

5 Safety precautions and maintenance rules
1. This coin sorter is only for counting EURO coins. Do not put the coins of other countries,
tokens (medals), collector coins or customized coins into the device.
2. The receiving slots are very easy to be removed from the counter. Please be careful during
operation. Before moving the device, please remove all coins from the receiving slots. When
moving the device, please hold the device smoothly and avoid dropping the receiving slots.
3. Read this manual before operation.
4. The manual should be available to operator.
5. Do not use the device under the following conditions:
- The device is not resting on a level surface
- The device is exposed to excessive moisture or humidity
- The device will be exposed to vibration while in use
- The device is in an excessively dusty or polluted room
- The device is exposed to direct sunlight
- The device is near other dangerous objects
6 Do not operate the device with wet hands
7. Avoid allowing foreign objects or liquids into the counter / receiving slots. In the event that
a foreign object or liquid does enter the device, turn off the device and contact a service
center.
8. Avoid dropping the device.
9. When finished be sure there are no coins in the hopper, the receiving slots or inside of the
counter.
10. Do not disassemble or attempt to update the device on your own. This could lead to
accidents or the complete failure of the device.
11. When a jam occurs inside the counter (as evidenced by coins continually moving around
inside the counter, despite no coins having been put into the device), open the rear cover and
carefully remove the coins from the track of the counter.
6 Preparing for Operation
- Set the device on an even surface
- Make sure that there are no coins or foreign objects in the hopper or the receiving slots
- Put the 8 receiving slots into the counter (in no particular order)
- Make sure that all of the receiving slots (8 units) have been fully inserted into the device
- Turn the power switch ON
- The motor starts turning and the device enters the self testing mode, after which the display
shows “0.00”
If error messages E1-E8, E0, or Ec occur, please contact a service center.

7 Sorting Operations
7.1 Coin Sorting
- Make sure that the display shows the value of counted coins as:
If any other amount is shown, press the «CLR» button to clear the current amount.
- Put EURO coins of one denomination or different denominations into the hopper
- Press the «START/STOP» button to start counting
- During the counting process, the coins will be delivered to the receiving slots in accordance
with their denomination. On the display will show the total value of counted coins.
ATTENTION! During counting or operation of the motor, please do not remove the receiving
slots.
- When the device finishes counting, the motor will stop and on the display will show the total
value of coins by all denominations:
- Press the «RPT» button to view how many coins are in each receiving slot. The figure on
the left shows the denomination of the coins, and the figure on the right shows the individual
number of this of coins in the receiving slot:
In order to view how many coins are in the other receiving slots, press the «RPT» button
several times as needed to view the result. Press «START/STOP» button to view the total
amount again.
ATTENTION! If the device automatically stops during counting, please see Table 7.2.
After counting, make sure that there are no coins in the hopper. If there are any coins left in
the hopper, please press the «START/STOP» button and finish counting.
When finished counting, please remove all of the coins in the receiving slots and clear the
result on the display (after removing all the coins).
ATTENTION! Automatically stopping counting (see Table 7.2) or removing the coins from the
receiving slots DOES NOT AFFECT the total amount of counted coins.
7.2 Automatically Stop Counting
ATTENTION! Each receiving slot has a limited capacity. When one of the receiving slots is
full, the device will automatically stop counting. If the receiving slot is full, the motor stops and
the display will show the current results. On the left side is the denomination and on the right
side is the total amount of coins for that denomination which have passed through this
receiving slot. Please see the limited capacity of each receiving slot as below:

When a receiving slot is full (based on the numbers listed above), remove the receiving slot
from the device, remove the coins in this receiving slot, and put the receiving slot back into
the device. (Note: You do not have to remove the other receiving slots from the device.) After
that, press the «START/STOP» button and the device continues counting. When the other
receiving slots are full, repeat these steps as necessary.
7.3 Batch Counting Mode With Summation
ATTENTION! The batch amount for each denomination of coins has to be set separately.
In order to enter the batch counting mode, press the «BTH» button. On the left side of the
display shows the denomination of the EURO coins, while on the right side shows the preset
number for batch mode. (Please see the figure as below. It shows the denomination is €2 and
the preset batch amount is 0, which means that it has not been set).

You can set the preset number (on the right side) with the «+10», «+», «-» buttons.
In order to preset the next denomination, press the «BTH» button several times (as needed),
and set the expected number.
- Press the «CLR» button to clear the preset number
- Press the «START/STOP» button to exit the batch counting mode
- In order to start counting, repeat the operations in Table 7.1
- When the device reaches the preset number during counting, it will stop operations.
On the left side of the display is the denomination of the coins and on the right side is the total
quantity of coins counted. When the receiving slot is full, remove the coins from the receiving
slot and then put it back into the device. After pressing the «START/STOP» button, the device
will continue counting.
Example of the Batch Counting Mode Operation
The user preset the batch counting mode for 0.2 EURO coins to 10 units.
In the hopper there are 30 coins.
1- After counting 10 coins, the motor stops, and on the display shows the denomination and
total quantity of the counted coins as below:
At this time there are 10 coins in the receiving slot of 20 cents. Remove the coins from the
receiving slot and put the receiving slot back into the device. After this, press the
«START/STOP» button, the device continues counting.
2- After counting 10 coins for the second time, the motor stops and the display shows the
denomination and total quantity of counted coins as below:
At this time there are 10 coins in the receiving slot of 20 cents (on the display shows the total
quantity of counted coins, when the device is in summation mode). Remove the coins from
the receiving slot and put the receiving slot back into the device. After this, press the
«START/STOP» button, the device continues counting.
3- After counting 10 coins for the third time, the motor stops and the display shows the
denomination and total quantity of counted coins as below:
At this time there are 10 coins in the receiving slot of 20 cents (the display shows the total
quantity of counted coins when the device is in summation mode). The batch mode
operations are now finished. The device counted 30 total 20 cent coins, with each batch being
10 coins. Clear the preset number (Press «BTH» to select nominal, then press «CLR») to exit
the batch counting mode.

8 Warranty
Manufacturer guarantees proper functioning of the device during the warranty period since
the date of sale under condition of compliance with maintenance and storage procedures
described in this manual. After unpacking the device please keep the package and technical
description. Warranties are canceled in the event that the device was not transported in the
original packaging or maintenance procedures were violated. Manufacturer is not responsible
for device malfunction as a result of improper maintenance, storage and transportation
including mechanical failures. In case of the device failure during the warranty period, the
customer has the right to have it repaired in our service center for free.
The service center accepts equipment for cleaning due to dust and mud, however cleaning
equipment from dust and mud is not included in the warranty and is charged separately.
Warranty service does not include any training for equipment maintenance or other use of the
device (connection, testing, customizing, preventive works etc.) which the customer can
complete on their own by referencing the attached manual.
Producer is entitled to introduce updated software, not described in the current manual.
Warranty service is not available in the following cases:
•Absence of a warranty card, an incorrectly filed warranty card, or other invalid card
•If operation or maintenance rules mentioned in the manual were violated
•If there is mechanical damage to the equipment
•If there are foreign objects or liquid inside of the device
• If there is any evidence that the user has opened the sealed device
• If you connect the device to a socket without the grounding contact, use the wires without
the grounding contact, or use an unstable electric grid.
The present warranty does not apply to lamps, batteries, belts, network adaptors, power
units, safety fuses, brushes, parts of the body of the product or any other parts which have a
naturally limited period of service including failures caused by power supply failures.
Replaced defective parts are to be considered the property of the producer.
The owner delivers faulty equipment to the service center at their own expense.

professionelle Münzenzahlmaschine PRO CS-80E ist ein präziser, zuverlässiger, extrem
schneller, automatischer Münzenzahler. Jeder Münzenart wird in ein separaten Ausgabefach
aussortiert. Die Münzenzahlmaschine der Serie PRO CS-80E ist optimal geeignet für den
Einsatz in Unternehmen, insbesondere bei Umrechnungskassen, Wechselstellen. Bitte lesen
Sie bitte diese Bedingungsanleitung vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes sorgfältig durch.

4 Das Bedienungspaneel
1. Das Display – Zählergebnisse werden angezeigt
2. “START/STOP“: Diese Taste dient zum Start und/oder Fortsetzung der Münzzählung
3. “RPT“: Statistische Werte, Anzahl der gezählten Münzen jedes Nominal. Um die Anzahl der
gezahlten Münzen jedes Nominal betätigen Sie die Taste.
„RPT“. Um diesen Modus zu verlassen, drucken Sie die Taste „Start / Stop“
4. “BTH“: mit dieser Taste wird die Bündelstoppfunktion eingeschaltet. Bündelstopp wird für
jeden Münzennominal einzeln eingestellt.
5. “CLR“: Diese Taste dient zum Löschen aller Daten auf dem Display
6. “+“ Vergrößert der Anzahl von Münzenbündel um 1 ( Bsp. +1 Münze)
7. “10“ Vergrößert der Anzahl von Münzenbündel um 10 (Bsp. +10 Münzen)
8. “-” Verkleinert der Anzahl von Münzenbündel um 1 ( Bsp. -1 Münze)

5 Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise
1) Lesen Sie bitte vor dem ersten Gebrauch Ihrer Münzzahlmaschine diese
Bedingungsanleitung sorgfaltig durch. Beachten Sie alle Anweisungen bei der Benutzung des
Gerätes.
2) Bewahren Sie die Bedingungsanleitung zum Nachschlagen an einer gut erreichbaren
Stelle auf.
3) Stellen Sie die Münzzahlmaschine nicht in folgenden Platzen auf:
-auf rutschigem, geneigtem oder auf unebenem Untergrund,
-in Raumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit,
-wo das Gerat Erschütterungen ausgesetzt wird,
-in staubigen Raumen,
-unter starkem Lichteinfall oder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung,
nahe gefährlicher Objekt.
4) Vermeiden Sie die Arbeit am Gerat mit feuchten Händen.
5) Vermeiden Sie Eindringen des Wassers oder anderer Flüssigkeiten ins Innere des Geräts.
6) Fuhren Sie keine Metall- oder anderen leitfähigen Gegenstande in das Gerat ein.
7) Richten Sie Ihren Arbeitsplatz so ein, dass zufälliger Sturz des Münzenzählers
ausgeschlossen wird.
8) Am Ende Ihrer Arbeit mit dem Münzenzähler vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine
Münzen im
Ausgabefach oder im Transportsystem zurückbleiben.
9) Für einwandfreie Funktion des Gerätes ist eine regelmäßige Reinigung und Wartung des
Gerätes in einem Servicezentrum (zwecks technischer Überprüfung der Werkeinstellungen)
dringend geboten.
10) Versuchen Sie bitte nicht, den Münzzahler auseinanderzubauen oder umzubauen, um
Verletzungen der Benutzer und Beschädigungen des Geräts zu vermeiden. Wenden Sie sich
hierfür an
ein Servicezentrum und lassen Sie das Gerat nur mit Original-Ersatzteilen reparieren.
11) Sollte eine Münze im Gerat stecken bleiben (beim Leerbetrieb entsteht ein klopfendes
Geräusch) öffnen Sie den hinteren Deckel und entfernen Sie die zurückgebliebene Münze.
6 Bedienung der Münzzählmaschine
• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einem ebenen Untergrund auf
• Überzeugen Sie sich, dass es sich in dem Aufnahme- und Ausgabefach keine Münzen oder
sonstige Gegenstände befinden.
• Stellen Sie 8 Aufnahmefächer für die Münzen in den Sortierer (willkürlich) auf.
• Überzeugen Sie sich, dass alle Aufnahmefächer (8 Stuck) in dem Sortierer richtig aufgestellt
sind.
• Schließen Sie den Netzkabel an eine Steckdose an
• Schalten Sie das Gerat ein (I).
• Beim Einschalten führt das Gerat einen Selbsttest durch. Nach dem Selbsttest erscheint auf
dem Display „0.00“.
• Bei der Fehlermeldung E1-E8, E0, Ec wenden sich bitte an das Servicezentrum.

7 Bedienung der Münzenzählmaschine
7.1 Sortierung von Münzen
Überzeugen Sie sich, dass das Gesamtergebnis vor dem Start des Zählvorgangs gleich 0 ist:
anderenfalls, löschen Sie das Gesamtergebnis auf dem Display mit der Taste "CLR“
-Legen Sie die EURO Münzen identischen oder verschiedenen Nominalwerten in den
Aufnahmefach ein.
-Um den Zahlvorgang zu starten, drucken Sie die Taste «START/STOP»
-Wahrend des Zahlvorgangs werden die Münzen in die Aufnahmefächer verteilt. Das
Gesamtergebnis wird auf dem Display angezeigt.
ACHTUNG! Entnehmen Sie keine Aufnahmefächer wahrend des Zahlvorgangs
Nach dem Zahlvorgang erscheint das Gesamtergebnis auf dem Display:
Mit der Taste " RPT " können Sie die Statistik der gezählten Münzen verfolgen. Auf der linken
Seite des Displays sehen Sie den Nominalwert, rechts die erfasste und gezahlte Menge der
Münzen:
Um die Anzahl der Münzen zu sehen, die sich in den Aufnahmefächer befinden, drücken
Sie auf die Taste “RPT“. Um dаs Gesamtergebnis zu verfolgen drucken Sie auf die Taste
«START/STOP».
ACHTUNG! Hält der Sortierer die Zählung automatisch an, sehen Sie
sich bitte den PUNKT 7.2 an.
Nach der Beendigung des Zählvorganges überzeugen Sie sich, dass es im Aufnahmefach
sich keine Münzen befinden. Wenn es im Aufnahmefach weitere Münzen befinden, drucken
Sie die Taste «START/STOP» und setzen Sie den Zählvorgang fort.
Nach dem Zählvorgang: entnehmen Sie bitte alle Münzen aus den Aufnahmefächer und nur
danach löschen Sie die Gesamtsumme auf dem Display. Der Zahlvorgang ist beendet.
Achtung! Die automatische Unterbrechung des Zahlvorgangs (Punkt 7.2) und die Entfernung
der Münzen aus den Aufnahmefächer BEEINFLUSST die Gesamtsumme der gezählten
Münzen NICHT.
7.2 Die automatische Unterbrechung des Zählvorgangs
Achtung! Die Kapazität jedes Aufnahmefachs ist beschrankt. Beim Zählvorgang ist die
automatische Unterbrechung der Umrechnung vorgesehen, wenn ein oder mehrere
Aufnahmefächer überfüllt sind. Bei der Überfüllung des Aufnahmefachs wird der Zahlvorgang
angehalten und es erscheint der Nominalwert EURO Münze links
und die Gesamtmenge der Münzen rechts auf dem Display.

Um das Gesamtergebnis zu löschen drucken Sie die Taste „C“. Entnehmen Sie die Münzen
aus den Aufnahmefächern und stellen Sie die leeren Aufnahmefächer zurück. Drucken Sie
die Taste «START/STOP» und setzen Sie den Zählvorgang fort.
7.3 Bündelstoppfunktion und das Gesamtergebnis
ACHTUNG! Gewünschter Bündelstopp ist für jeden Münznominal einzeln einzustellen.
Für die Eingabe der Bündelgroße drucken Sie die Taste "BTH". Es erscheint der Nominalwert
von Euromünzen links und die gewünschte Stuckzahl des Bündels rechts.
(Abbildung: Nominalwert: 2 Euro, gewünschte Stuckzahl des Bündels: 0 bzw. fehlt)

Betätigen Sie die Tasten “+10", “+“, “-“ um die gewünschte Stückzahl einzugeben.
Um die gewünschte Stückzahl für einen weiteren Nominal einzugeben drucken
Sie die Taste "BTH ", geben Sie die gewünschte Stuckzahl an:
-Zum Löschen dieser Angaben drucken Sie auf die Taste "CLR"
-Drucken Sie die Taste «START/STOP» um diesen Modus zu verlassen/abzubrechen
-Um Zählvorgang zu starten folgen Sie dem Punkt 7.1
-Der Zählvorgang wird angehalten wenn die eingegebene Stückzahl erreicht ist.
Es erscheint der Nominalwert von Euromünzen links und die gewünschte Stuckzahl des
Bündels rechts auf dem Display.
Entfernen Sie die Münzen aus den Aufgabefächern und setzen Sie die Zählung mit der Taste
«START/STOP» fort.
Ein Beispiel der Zählung mit der Bündelstoppfunktion
Der Benutzer mochte gern 10 Stuck von 20 Cent Münzen abzahlen.
Es befinden sich 30 Münzen in dem Aufnahmefach.
1-Bei dem ersten Zählvorgang werden 10 Münzen abgezahlt. Der Zählvorgang wird angehal-
ten,
es werden der Nominalwert und das Gesamtergebnis auf dem Display angezeigt:
Dabei liegen in dem Aufnahmefach (20 Eurocent) 10 Münzen. Entnehmen Sie die Münzen
aus dem Aufnahmefach und setzen Sie den Zahlvorgang durch Betätigung der Taste
«START/STOP» fort.
2-Bei dem zweiten Zahlvorgang werden weitere 10 Münzen abgezahlt. Der Zählvorgang wird
angehalten, es werden der Nominalwert und das Gesamtergebnis auf dem Display
angezeigt:
Dabei liegen in dem Aufnahmefach (20 Eurocent) 10 Münzen. Es wird das Gesamtergebnis
auf dem Display angezeigt, das Gerat befindet sich in dem Bündelstoppmodus. Entnehmen
Sie die Münzen aus dem Aufnahmefach und setzen Sie den Zahlvorgang durch Betätigung
der Taste «START/STOP » fort.
3- Bei dem zweiten Zahlvorgang werden weitere 10 Münzen abgezahlt. Der Zählvorgang
wird angehalten, es werden der Nominalwert und das Gesamtergebnis auf dem Display
angezeigt:
Dabei liegen in dem Aufnahmefach (20 Eurocent) 10 Münzen. Es wird das Gesamtergebnis
auf dem Display angezeigt, das Gerat befindet sich in dem Bündelstoppmodus.
Die Bündelstoppzählung ist erfolgreich beendet. Es wurden insgesamt 30 Stuck (20 Eurocent
Münzen) gezahlt, dabei jeweils 10 Stuck aussortiert.
Drucken Sie die Taste "CLR", um alle Einstellungen zu Löschen und diesen Modus zu ver-
lassen/abzubrechen. Um einzelne Nominalwerte zu loschen, betätigen Sie die Taste „BTH“.

8 Garantieerklarung

Technology, ihren Tochtergesellschaften, Filialen, Vertriebspartnern oder Distributoren (in
dieser Herstellergarantieerklarung alle mit PRO bezeichnet) unter der Marke PRO vertrieben
wurden. PRO schliest ausdrucklich alle Garantien und Gewahrleistungen aus, die nicht in
dieser Garantieerklarung aufgefuhrt sind. Der Garantiezeitraum der Herstellergarantie begin-
nt mit dem Datum des Kaufs bei PRO. Der Kaufbeleg, der das Kaufdatum enthalt, ist Ihr
Nachweis des Kaufdatums. Um einen Garantieservice in Anspruch nehmen zu konnen,
mussen Sie unter Umstanden den Kaufnachweis sowie Originalverpackung vorlegen.
Innerhalb des Garantiezeitraums werden die fehlerhaften Komponenten bzw. das
Hardwareprodukt von PRO repariert oder ausgetauscht. Alle im Rahmen dieser Garantie ent-
fernten Komponenten und Hardwareprodukte gehen in das Eigentum von PRO uber. PRO
kann nach eigenem Ermessen entscheiden, Ihnen als Ersatz fur dieses PRO Produkt ein ver-
gleichbares Produkt mit mindestens derselben Hardwareleistung anzubieten. PRO behalt
sich das Recht vor, nach eigenem Ermessen zu entscheiden, Ihnen an Stelle eines Ersatzes
den Kaufpreis zu erstatten. Dies sind Ihre ausschlieslichen Anspruche hinsichtlich fehler-
hafter PRO Produkte. PRO haftet nicht fur Schaden aufgrund von Nichtbefolgung der im
Lieferumfang des PRO Produktes enthaltenen Anleitungen. Diese Herstellergarantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Verschleisteile. Diese Herstellergarantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
Produkte, die beschadigt oder fehlerhaft wurden (a) als Folge eines Unfalls, unsachgemaser
oder missbrauchlicher Verwendung oder anderer auserer Ursachen, (b) weil sie nicht
entsprechend den Betriebsparametern betrieben wurden, die in der im Lieferumfangs des
Produkts enthaltenen Benutzerdokumentation festgelegt sind, (c) aufgrund der Verwendung
nicht von PRO hergestellter Teile oder (d) durch Anderung oder Wartung durch jemand
anderen als PRO, einen PRO Servicepartner oder Sie selbst im Rahmen des selbst durchge-
fuhrten Einbaus von vom Endbenutzer austauschbaren Teilen, wenn diese von PRO stam-
men oder zum Austausch zugelassen wurden und fur das von Ihnen erworbene Produkt
verfugbar sind. Diese Bestimmungen und Bedingungen stellen die vollstandige und auss-
chliesliche Garantie zwischen Ihnen und PRO fur das von Ihnen erworbene PRO Produkt dar.
Haftungsbeschrankung
Wenn Ihr PRO Produkt nicht entsprechend der obigen
Herstellergarantie funktioniert, besteht Ihr alleiniger und ausschlieslicher Anspruch in einer
der folgenden Leistungen, deren Auswahl im alleinigen Ermessen von PRO liegt: Reparatur
des PRO Produkts, Ersatz des PRO Produkts oder Erstattung des Kaufpreises. Die maximale
Haftung von PRO im Rahmen dieser Herstellergarantie ist ausdrucklich beschrankt auf den
jeweils niedrigeren Betrag, der sich entweder aus dem Kaufpreis fur das PRO Produkt oder
aus den Reparatur- bzw. Austauschkosten ergibt. PRO haftet im Rahmen dieser Garantie
nicht fur durch das PRO Produkt oder sein Versagen verursachte Schaden. PRO haftet nicht
bei Anspruchen, die von Dritten oder von Ihnen fur Dritte erhoben werden. Diese
Haftungsbeschrankung gilt unabhangig davon, ob Schaden gerichtlich verfolgt werden, ob
Schadensersatzanspruche im Rahmen dieser Herstellergarantie oder aufgrund unerlaubter
Handlungen (einschlieslich Fahrlassigkeit und strenger Produkthaftung) oder aufgrund ver-
traglicher bzw. sonstiger Anspruche gestellt werden. Diese Haftungsbeschrankung kann von
keiner Person aufgehoben oder erganzt werden. Diese Haftungsbeschrankung gilt auch
dann, wenn Sie PRO oder einen PRO Partner uber die Moglichkeit derartiger Schaden
informiert haben.
