1. Safety Precautions
ATTENTION
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the
device.

Read and understand all of the instructions and
warnings both on the machine and in the manual.
Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the
unit.
This product should be operated only from the type of
the power source indicated in the user's guide. If you
are not sure of the type of power supply in your
location, consult your dealer or local power company.
Only use the cable provided with the unit. The use of
other cable may result in electric shock, fire or cause
serious damage to the unit.
Never push objects of any kind into the unit through
case slots, since they may touch dangerous voltage
points or shortcut parts, resulting in a risk of fire or
electric shock.

The information about available notes can be provided by the
manufacturer.

Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer
servicing to qualified service personnel under the
following conditions:
a. When the power supply cord or plug is damaged
or frayed.
b. If the liquid has been spilled into the unit.
c. If the unit has been exposed to rain or water.
d. If the machine has been dropped or the case has
been damaged.
e. If the product shows a noticeable change in
performance.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
disassemble this product. Take it to qualified service
personnel when service or repair work is required.
Opening or removing covers may expose you to
dangerous voltages or other risks. Incorrect
reassembly can cause electric shock when the
appliance is subsequently used.
Do not use the unit if the power cord is damaged or
if the plug socket contact is loose. Not following
these instructions may result in electric shock , fire
or other hazards.
When unplugging the power plug, do not pull it by
the cord but rather grip the plug and pull it out, not
following those instruction may result in electric
shock, fire or damage to the unit.

Purpose
DoCash 3000 L/LU series currency counter s ar e designed for
counting banknotes of various currencies. They are reliable and
easy to use.
Declaration of Conformity
The counter conforms to the following safety requirements:
General - GOST IEC 60950-1-2011,
Electromagnetic compatibility - GOST R 51318.22-2006.
TR TS 004/2011 «Low-voltage equipment safety»;
TR TS 020/2011 «Electromagnetic compatibility of technical
means».
This manual contains information that is actual for the moment of
publishing, and may not contain the latest changes.
The manufacturer may change machine’s specifications and
control algorithms.

1. START button
This button is used while counting process in following cases:
Continuing the counting process after dealing with an error
Resetting the existing count value
Starting the counting process
Stopping the counting process
2. Sound volume
This button is used to set the volume of the sound signal. Press and
hold «0» key for 3 seconds. When the indication is shown on
display - the sound is off. When the indication is not shown on
display - the sound is on.
3. UV (UV-detection)
Press UV to activate UV-detection. The counting process stops in
case of a suspicious note detecting. This function is optional and
available for DoCash 3100 LU model.
4. Keyboard
Use the keyboard to set the Batch value.

5. SD (size detection)
Press SD to activate size detection. The size of the first detected
note is remembered by the machine. The counting process stops if
there is an another size note detected.
6. C (clear)
Press this button to clear all the values on the display.
7. SPEED (speed of the counting process)
There are three speed values available - 900, 1200, 1500
banknotes per minute (lower speed allows to perform the count of
any old, dirty and damaged notes). The value 1200 is set as
default.
8. ADD (addition function)
Pressing this button activates ADD mode. In this mode removing
the counted notes from the stack will not clear the quantity
counted and shown on the counter display. The next notes placed
in the hopper will be counted and added to the previous quantity.
The total amount of added notes will be shown on the screen.
9. AUTO (automatic and manual start switch)
The count start can be set as an automatic function or can be
started manually.
10. DD (doubled notes detection)
Doubled banknotes will be detected after the activation of this
mode by pressing DD button.
11. Count display
Shows the total value of counted notes.
12. Batch display
Shows the current batch parameter value.

14. Count Display
The number of counted banknotes is saved and shown on the
display.
15. Batch-Display
The set parameter of Batch function is shown on the display
section.
3. Additional annotations before using the
machine
For the most effective results and working
capabilities:
Do not use the machine under the direct sunlight;
Do not press the buttons with any sharp or point objects;
For the guarantee of safety:
Use the power cable, provided with the machine;
Unplug the machine from the socket before transporting it;
Protect the machine from any unwanted tools, liquids,
materials, also hair, fingers, clothes getting into moving
mechanisms.

4. Using the machine
Simple counting
The Display shows «0».
If the machine is in “Auto” mode, the sensitivity parameter will be
calibrated automatically.

CAUTION
Press the notes against the central part of the Hopper. The
counting may be incorrect in case of notes set off the center.
2) Check the indication of ADD function.
Press ADD to use the additional counting function. The indication
confirms that the function is On.
3) Set the batch parameter.
Use the keyboard to set the desired Batch value (1-999). The
counting process will stop when the number of counted notes
equals the set Batch value.
4) Set the speed parameter.
Press SPEED button to set the desired count speed. The value
changes with every push of the button (900, 1200, 1500 banknotes
per minute) and can be seen on the display.
5) Place the banknotes into hopper to start the
process.
The counting process starts automatically.
If there is a Batch parameter set - the counting process stops,
when the number of notes becomes equal to the parameter.
Taking the notes out of the stacker will continue the counting
process automatically.
5. Suspicious and Counterfeit notes detection
Size detection
This type of detection compares the notes with the size of the first
detected banknote. The counting process stops if a different size
note detected.

Setting SD function (size detection)
Press SD, to set the size detection function (the corresponding
indicator lights up).
CAUTION
The difference checks by comparing the width of every counted
note. The counter is built to work with different denominations
with a difference size in 4 mm and more.
The desired size parameter may be set by user. Press and hold the
SD button until CC is shown on the display. Press ADD button
until DD and 3 appears. Use the keyboard to set the desired value
for the sensitivity level (1 to 10). The higher the value - the lower
the sensitivity level will be. Press START to confirm the setting.
UV-detection (available for DoCash 3000 LU model)
Used for banknotes with elements for ultraviolet detection.
The desired parameter may be set by user. Switch the machine off,
then switch it back on. Press and hold the SD button until CC is
shown on the display. Use the keyboard to set the desired value for
the sensitivity level (1 to 10). The higher the value - the lower the
sensitivity level will be. Press START to confirm the setting.
CAUTION
Check every banknote that you removed manually. If these notes
are genuine - put them back into the hopper and press START to
continue the counting process.

Doubled notes detection (DD)
Used for detection of double banknotes.
- Available for activation when the machine is turned On.
- A sound signal informs about a double denomination case (if
sound messages are turned On).
The desired parameter may be set by user. Switch the machine
off, then switch it back on. Press and hold the SD button until CC
is shown on the display. Press ADD button until ED and 5
appears. Use the keyboard to set the desired value for the
sensitivity level (1 to 10). The lower the value - the lower the
sensitivity level will be. Press START to confirm the setting.
Half-note detection
Used for detection of half-banknotes.
A sound signal informs about a half-note case (if sound messages
are turned On). The display shows EH (which indicates that a
suspicious note was detected). Half-note will be the last in the
stacker. Remove it and count the rest of the notes by pressing
START.

6. Error messages and solutions
If machine gives a signal of a counterfeit, or suspicious note
detection, then it is possible that sensitivity levels are too high.
Machine always shows an error-code on the display. Choose a
proper solution according to given recommendations:
CAUTION
If there are too many SD-errors occur, remove all the notes from
the stacker and check their condition for dirt, cuts, taped pieces, etc.

7. Safety regulations
Placing notes into the machine
Safety measures during the counting process
Do not work with wet banknotes
Check the notes for the absence of unwanted papers, staples,
brackets etc.
Straighten every note, do not allow any bent corners and
edges
Bend and unbend a stack of new banknotes before counting.
Leveling the notes
Level the notes according to their sides. Unleveled notes
may cause incorrect counting results.
Optical sensors may get dirty and cause incorrect counting
results. Use the cleaning kit, provided with this machine.
Paper shreds, dust and different objects may get into the
machine mechanisms and cause a malfunction. Always
check the feeder to be clean and absent of any unwanted
objects or substances.

The following types of notes are not recommended to
work with:

Twisted, dirty, torn and bent notes with any types of substances
and materials on it:
Folded notes or notes with bent and rolled edges:
Banknotes containing unwanted objects like paper shreds, pa-
perclips, rubber materials, etc.:
These types of notes may cause malfunction.

8. Daily maintenance
Optical sensors may get dirty and cause incorrect counting
results. Use the cleaning kit, provided with this machine.
Paper shreds, dust and different objects may get into the
machine mechanisms and cause a malfunction. Always check the
feeder to be clean and absent of any unwanted objects or
substances.
Clean the machine after the power is Off.
Do not use any chemical liquids or detergents to clean the
machine.

9. Transport and storage
When transporting and storing the counter follow the symbols on
the package. When transporting the permissible temperature is
from –30°Сto +50°С. Storage of the counter is allowed at
temperature from +1°Сto +40°Сand relative humidity of up to
80 % (at 25°С), noncondensing.

11. Warranty
Guarantee period is 12 months from the delivery date subject to
compliance with the conditions of use and storage indicated in
this Manual and additional conditions specified in the Warranty
Coupon Manufacturer shall be released from any obligation for
the counter malfunction resulting from improper transportation,
storage and use, as well as from mechanical failure.
