9. It is normal for the light, AC transformer, and battery to become warm during
extended use.

One Year Unconditional Warranty
Congratulations on your purchase of the ProMaster 57B Ultrasoft light. Use it to
create soft, flattering illumination in your photos and videos. The 57B creates a soft
light without shadows or hot spots by using a specially designed light panel and
indirect LEDs. It is a Bi-color light with adjustable color temperature. You can
control the color temperature as well as brightness by using the on-board touch
controls or the included remote control. Power the 57B using a standard wall outlet
AC receptacle or use the included rechargeable battery for portable lighting. The
included tilting cold foot is a great way to mount the 57B to a camera, camcorder,
or bracket. You can also mount the 57B to a variety of other grip items such as flex
arms and clamps using the 1/4-20" connecttion port.

Parts Identification
To use the 57B as a portable light you need to first charge the included lithium-ion
battery. Locate the included charger as well as the two charging cords. Choose the
AC cord for household charging with a 110v AC receptacle. Or choose the 12v DC
charging cord for use in your car, truck, boat, or RV. Slide the battery into the
charger. The red light will illuminate. When charging is complete and the battery is
at 100% capacity the light will turn green.
• To use the 57B, mount it on the included cold foot or any male 1/4"-20 threaded
grip item. Connect the 57B to a wall outlet with the included AC power adapter
and the DC Input Socket (2). Or slide the charged NP-F770 battery into the
Optional Battery Location (1).
• Brightness Control Mode: Press and hold the Power Button (4) for approx. 1
second until the panel lights up.Press the Up and Down Buttons (6), to adjust the
brightness of the light between 10 and 99. The brightness setting is indicated by
the two digits on the left side of the LED Display (3). You can hold either of these
buttons to make rapid changes to the brightness.
• Color Temperature Control Mode: Press the Mode Button (7) briefly to enter the
color temperature mode. The two digits on the right side of the LED Display (3)
will flash to indicate you are in this mode. Now press the Up or Down Buttons (6)
to adjust the color temperature beween 3200K and 5600K in 100K increments.
The two digits on the right side of the LED Display show your chosen color
temperature. You can hold either of the Up or Down buttons to make rapid
changes to the color temperature. Quickly press the Power Button (4) to exit this
mode and return to Brightness mode.
• Channel Select Mode: Press and hold the Mode button (7) to enter the channel
mode. The two middle digits of the LED display (3) will be the only digits
illuminated in this mode. Use the Up and Down buttons (6) to change the channel
between 1and 99. Then set your wireless remote to the same channel to control
the 57B using the remote. Quickly press the Power Button (4) to exit this mode
and return to Brightness control mode.
• When you are finished using the 57B and want to turn it off, simply press and hold
the Power Button (4) for approx. 1 second.
