IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
INSTALLATION
• Active type, including transmitter and receiver.
• This device transmits high resolution 1920 x 1200 VGA signal with audio over cost
effective CAT5 cable up to 70 meters instead of VGA and Audio cable.
• External power required at transmitter unit, no power requested at receiver unit.
• Main transmitter and receiver units.
• 5V DC Power Supply
• User’s Manual
Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
• Check that the voltage indicated on the PSU rating plate corresponds with that of the
local network before connecting to the mains power supply.
Cable:
• Video Link cable using high quality CAT5E UTP/STP or CAT6 UTP cable.
• Please noted STP cable could enhance noise rejection, but also less transmission
range and picture sharpness quality.
RJ45 cable connections:

NOTE:
The cabling must be kept away from any equipment with electromagnetic wave, i.e.:
microwave, radio equipment, high voltage lines.

OPERATION
Transmitter
Receiver
Transmitter LED indicator:
• Blue LED : power on/off
• RJ45 LED (Link cable connector) Green: VGA signal
Receiver LED indicator:
• Blue LED: power on/off
• RJ45 LED (Link cable connector) Green: VGA signal
• Before installation, please make sure all devices you wish to connect have been
powered off.
• Connect the VGA video and R/L audio from computer to the transmitter using suitable
cables.
• Connect the transmitter link output to the receiver link input using suitable CAT5
cable.
NOTE: this is not an Ethernet device - do not connect via an Ethernet.
• Connect the receiver output to a suitable VGA monitor.
• Connect the Insert the 12V DC connector from the power supply into this product and
then connect the power supply into the wall mains outlet.
• Power on the computer and monitor.
• During operation the LEDs will illuminate as described below.
