Model # PRO S-25 “ELF” and Model # Pro S-75 “AIR”
•Fill the reservoir with mineral or baby oil provided. Use only 1 bottle
of oil provided. Check oil level monitor window. The oil level should
never exceed the maximum line. DO NOT OVERFILL.
•Attach the air chuck connecter (Pro S 25 only), Smoke Hose and
Detachable Power Cables found in the accessory case
•Attach shop air to the Pro S 25. The Pro S 75 has a built-in chuck
•Connect power cables to a fully charged 12V vehicle battery. Do not
attach to a battery charger or any other power source.
•Close the airflow dial on the airflow meter.
•Start the unit by pushing the red button on the front panel. A 5-
minute working cycle will begin.
•Open the airflow dial on the airflow meter. You can control the
amount of smoke by opening or closing the airflow dial on front.
•Within 1 minute smoke will appear. Unit is now ready to use for
diagnostic purposes.
Note: Pressing the red button again within a working cycle will stop the
smoke mode and revert to the air mode immediately. (There can be
some smoke residue in the hose).
DIAGNOSTIC OPTIONS
•EVAP SYSTEM:
•Inject system with air only to confirm there is a leak. (run air leak
decay test)
•Locate EVAP access port (Green cap in engine compartment)
•Remove EVAP valve (tool supplied and note thread is left hand)
•Attach EVAP hose provided.
•Pressure gauge should go up close to the black mark.
•Turn airflow to off position
•If the pressure needle does not fall, you have no leak.
•If the pressure needle does fall, you still have a leak. Repeat the
process.

Model Pro S 500T “TURBO”
•Fill the reservoir to full level with baby oil provided. See back of unit
for fill level. Do not over fill.
•Attach power cables and Air/Smoke Hose to the Smoke Monster
•Attach shop air to the Smoke Monster
•Attach power cables to a fully charged vehicle battery. Do not attach
to a battery charger.
•Power up the unit using the RED power switch on the side.
•Start the unit operation by pushing the GREEN “on” button on the
front.
•Push the AIR button on front and open the airflow dial.
•Place your thumb over the airflow brass nozzle at the end of the
hose. The pressure gauge should move close to the black mark. (15”
of water column pressure).
•Turn the unit OFF using the RED button on the front
•Turn the unit ON again using the GREEN “on” button on the front.
•Press the SMOKE button on the front. Smoke should begin coming
out the nozzle in about 20 seconds.
•You can control the amount of smoke by opening or closing the
airflow dial on front.
•Unit is now ready to use for diagnostic purposes.
•Press the RED button on the front to enable Turbo Mode and Press
again anytime to disable it.

DIAGNOSTIC OPTIONS
EVAP SYSTEM:
•Inject the system with air only to confirm there is a leak. (run air leak
decay test)
•Locate EVAP access port (Green cap in engine compartment)
•Remove the EVAP valve (tool supplied and note thread is left hand)
•Attach EVAP hose provided.
•Pressure gauge should go up close to the black mark.
•Turn airflow to off position
•If the pressure needle doses not fall, you have no leak.
•If the pressure needle does fall, you have a leak and need to find it
using the smoke.
TURBO SYSTEM:
•Inject the system with air only to confirm there is a leak. (run air leak
decay test)
•Locate vehicle turbo system.
•Seal the turbo system opening with the All-in-1 Bladder Blocker, use
one Bladder Blocker as a lead and another as a block-off.
•Press the RED button on front of the machine to enable Turbo Mode.
•Pressure gauge should drop to zero.
•If the flow meter fall to zero, you have NO leak.
•If the flow meter does not fall, you have a leak and need to find it
using the smoke.

Model # PRO S-1000HD “HEAVY DUTY”
•Fill the reservoir with baby/mineral oil provided. See back of unit
for fill level, the oil level shall be between the minimum level and
the maximum level. Do not over fill.
•Attach the air chuck connecter found in the accessory case
•Attach power cables to the Smoke Monster
•Attach Air/Smoke hose to the Smoke Monster
•Attach shop air to the Smoke Monster.
•Attach power cables to a fully charged 12V or 24V vehicle
battery. Do not attach to a battery charger.
•Power up the HD unit using the red power switch on the side.
•Close the airflow dial on the airflow meter.
•Select working mode (air mode or smoke mode) on the front,
when selected, the LED next to it will be on.
•Start the unit operation by pushing the green “on” button on the
front, it will start for a 10-minute working cycle.
•Adjust the test pressure dial on front, the left side gauge will
indicate the pressure reading.
•You can control the amount of smoke by opening or closing the
airflow dial on front.
•Unit is now ready to use for diagnostic purposes.
Note:
•Turn the unit off using the red “off” button on the front.
•Turn the unit on using the green “on” button on the front.
•Air/Smoke mode could be switched during working cycle.
•Press the red “off” button during working cycle will turn the unit
OFF immediately.
Unit is not applicable for EVAP SYSTEMS !

the sales receipt and a note describing the problem. Or describe the problem

determined to be in warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. If the
unit is determined to be out of warranty, it will be repaired for a nominal service
charge plus return freight.

The “TURBO MODE” is ONLY to be used on testing turbocharged
engines. For all other engines the Smoke Monster Turbo must be set to
“CAR MODE”.

Warranty
GeneralWarrantyfor PROFLEX+ Products: THISWARRANTYIS EXPRESSLY LIMITED
TO PERSONS WHO PURCHASE NEW PROFLEX+ PRODUCTS FOR PURPOSES OF
RESALE ORUSE AS PER ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS ANDIN THE ORDINARY COURSE
OF THE BUYER’S BUSINESS. ONLY GENUINE PRODUCTS ARE COVERED.
PROFLEX+ electronic products are warranted against defects in materials and
workmanship for 1 year from date of delivery to the user. This limited warranty is based
on normal and reasonable use of the product and does not cover any part that has been
abused, altered, used for a purpose other than for which it was intended, or used in a
manner inconsistent with instructions regarding use. It also does not cover damage
caused by transporting, dropping, negligence or improper care. The exclusive remedy for
any product found to be defective is repair or replacement, at PROFLEX+ option, and
PROFLEX+ shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages. Final
determination of defects shall be made by PROFLEX+ in accordance with procedures
established by PROFLEX+. If the product is no longer available, PROFLEX+ may
substitute a comparable PROFLEX+ product. No agent, employee, or representative of
PROFLEX+ has any authority to bind PROFLEX+ to any affirmation, representation, or
warranty concerning PROFLEX+ products, except as stated herein.
Lifetime Warranty for CERAMIHEAT®heater: In addition to above, PROFLEX+ offers a
Limited Lifetime Warranty for material and workmanship of the CERAMIHEAT®heater to
the original purchaser of any PROFLEX+ product that is built with the CERAMIHEAT®
technology. This warranty is valid to the original purchaser who has purchased the
product from an authorized dealer and for as long as the original purchaser owns the
product, but does not cover any part that has been abused or altered by the purchaser.
The exclusive remedy for a defective CERAMIHEAT®heater is repair or replacement, at
PROFLEX+ option, and PROFLEX+ shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental
damages. Final determination of defects shall be made by PROFLEX+ in accordance
with procedures established by PROFLEX+.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded.
The warranties provided above are limited to the value of the product. If the product is no
longer available, PROFLEX+ may substitute a comparable PROFLEX+ product.
The above warranties are intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the
rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from province/state to
province/state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied
warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement.
Consequently, the limitations or exclusions specifically contained inthis warranty may not
be applicable to you.
