Model # PRO S-25 “ELF” and Model # Pro S-75 “AIR Jr.”
•
Fill the reservoir with mineral or baby oil provided. Use only 1 bottle
of oil provided. Check oil level monitor window. The oil level should
never exceed the maximum line. DO NOT OVERFILL.
•
Attach the air chuck connecter (Pro S 25 only), Smoke Hose and
Detachable Power Cables found in the accessory case
•
Attach shop air to the Pro S 25. The Pro S 75 has a built-in chuck
•
Connect power cables to a fully charged 12V vehicle battery. Do not
attach to a battery charger or any other power source.
•
Close the airflow dial on the airflow meter.
•
Start the unit by pushing the red button on the front panel. A 5-
minute working cycle will begin.
•
Open the airflow dial on the airflow meter. You can control the
amount of smoke by opening or closing the airflow dial on front.
•
Within 1 minute smoke will appear. Unit is now ready to use for
diagnostic purposes.
Note: Pressing the red button again within a working cycle will stop the
smoke mode and revert to the air mode immediately. (There can be
some smoke residue in the hose).
DIAGNOSTIC OPTIONS
•
EVAP SYSTEM:
•
Inject system with air only to confirm there is a leak. (run air leak
decay test)
•
Locate EVAP access port (Green cap in engine compartment)
•
Remove EVAP valve (tool supplied and note thread is left hand)
•
Attach EVAP hose provided.
•
Pressure gauge should go up close to the black mark.
•
Turn airflow to off position
•
If the pressure needle does not fall, you have no leak.
•
If the pressure needle does fall, you still have a leak. Repeat the
process.

Model Pro S 600T “TURBO”
OPERATING IN REGULAR / EVAP MODE
•
Fill the reservoir to full level with baby oil provided. See back of
unit for fill level Do not over fill!
•
Attach the Power Cables and Air/Smoke Hose to the Smoke
Monster®Turbo
•
Attach power cables to a fully charged vehicle battery. Do not
attach to a battery charger!
•
Machine will be powered up once power supply connected, and
rocker switch is in the “ON” position. (rocker switch will be
illuminated)
•
Once unit is powered up, the 2 LEDs will blink for a fewseconds.
•
After the led lights finish blinking, they will turn off, and the unit
will be in EVAP air mode.
•
By pushing the “Smoke Mode” button, the LED light will be lit, and
unit is ready to start 5-minute smoke cycle.
•
Find the leaks and make necessary repairs.
OPERATING IN AIR LEAK DECAY MODE (both EVAP & TURBO)
•
Switch unit back to “Air Mode” and start pressurizing the vehicle
•
Once vehicle is pressurized, turn the rocker switch to the “OFF”
position and see if the pressure holds then the leak has been
repaired. If the gauge drops and the ball in the flow meter rises,
this means you have a leak and you will need to re-smoke the
vehicle.

OPERATING IN TURBO MODE - Model Pro S 600T “TURBO”
•
Turn the rocker switch to the “ON” position
•
Press and Hold the “Turbo Button” for 3 seconds, the LED light
will blink for 5 seconds. This function is to prepare / switch the
unit to “Turbo Mode”.
•
By pushing the “Smoke Mode” button, the LED light will be lit, and
unit is ready to start 5-minute smoke cycle. (use the Bladder
Blocker(s) provided inside the accessory case) to block the turbo
both single or dual turbos
•
Find the leaks and make necessary repairs.
•
To check for Air Leak Decay, see above instructions.

PRO S-2000HD “HEAVY DUTY”
QUICK START GUIDE
1.
Fill the reservoir with baby/mineral oil provided. See back of unit
for fill level. The oil level shall be between the minimum level and
the maximum level. Do not over fill.
2.
Attach the air chuck connecter found in the accessory case.
3.
Attach power cables to the Smoke Monster® Pro-S 2000HD.
4.
Attach Air/Smoke hose to the Smoke Monster® Pro-S 2000HD.
5.
Attach shop air to the Smoke Monster® Pro-S 2000HD.
6.
Attach power cables to a fully charged 12V or 24V vehicle battery.
Do not attach to a battery charger.
7.
Power up the Smoke Monster® Pro-S 2000HD using the red power
toggle switch on the front of unit.
8.
The unit is in “Air Mode” until you select the “Smoke Mode”.
9.
Start the smoke mode operation by pushing the chrome “on” button
on the front, the red LED light indicator should be on. This will start
the Smoke Mode for a 10-minute working cycle.
NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED 20 PSI IN “SMOKE MODE”!!!!!
10.
Adjust the test pressure using the large dial between the
gauges, the top gauge will indicate the pressure reading.
11.
You can control the amount of smoke by opening or closing the
airflow by turning the small knob (left or right) on the flow
meter.
12.
Depending on the test you want to preform use the necessary
accessories that come with the unit inside the accessory box (HD
Bladder Blocker or Radiator Kit).
13.
Unit is now ready to use for diagnostic purposes.

LEAK DECAY TESTING
1. Make sure that the RED LED light indicator is off (not lit).
2. In “Air Mode” using the air/smoke hose pressurize the “fixed”
system until it is properly filled with air and desired PSI
needed.
3. Turn RED rocker switch to “off” and check gauge to see if the
pressure is falling, and the ball in the flow meter is rising. If this
happens, you still have a leak in the system. You will need to
re-smoke the system to find another leak.
4. If the pressure is holding, the leak is fixed.
Unit is not applicable for EVAP SYSTEMS!

General Warranty for PROFLEX+ Products: THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED
TO PERSONS WHO PURCHASE NEW PROFLEX+ PRODUCTS FOR PURPOSESOF
RESALE OR USE AS PER ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS AND IN THE ORDINARY COURSE
OF THE BUYER’S BUSINESS. ONLY GENUINE PRODUCTS ARE COVERED.
PROFLEX+ electronic products are warranted against defects in materials and
workmanship for 1 year from date of delivery to the user. This limited warranty is based
on normal and reasonable use of the product and does not cover any part that has been
abused, altered, used for a purpose other than for which it was intended, or used in a
manner inconsistent with instructions regarding use. It also does not cover damage
caused by transporting, dropping, negligence or improper care. The exclusive remedy for

Lifetime Warranty for CERAMIHEAT® heater: In addition to above, PROFLEX+ offers a
Limited Lifetime Warranty for material and workmanship of the CERAMIHEAT® heater to
the original purchaser of any PROFLEX+ product that is built with the CERAMIHEAT®
technology. This warranty is valid to the original purchaser who has purchased the
product from an authorized dealer and for as long as the original purchaser owns the
product, but does not cover any part that has been abused or altered by the purchaser.
The exclusive remedy for a defective CERAMIHEAT® heater is repair or replacement, at
PROFLEX+ option, and PROFLEX+ shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental
damages. Final determination of defects shall be made by PROFLEX+ in accordance
with procedures established by PROFLEX+.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded.
The warranties provided above are limited to the value of the product. If the product is no
longer available, PROFLEX+ may substitute a comparable PROFLEX+ product.
The above warranties are intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the
rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from province/state to
province/state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied
warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement.
