Kids, ask your parents to download the Project Mc2
™app, available on iOS devices through the

• Click on the App Store icon on your iOS device.

The wheelie bin symbol indicates that the product must not be disposed of with other household waste. Please use
designated collection points or recycling facilities when disposing of the item.
Do not treat old batteries as household waste. Take them to a designated recycling facility.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
An adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in your lie detector prior to playing.
Here’s how:
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw battery compartment cover
from under the lie detector mint box.
2. Install two (2) 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and
(-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.

• Do not use this item near water or subject it to moisture of any kind.
• Always turn the unit off after playing to conserve battery power.
• Lack of moisture on fingers may hinder performance. For best results, make sure hands are not
too cold or too dry. DO NOT use wet hands with the lie detector.
• This is a toy meant for entertainment purposes only.

Attach the box lid to the box by installing one side of the hinge and then pressing down on the
other side to lock it in place. Plug in the green and pink wires into the side of the mint box.

• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the type battery recommended for the unit.
• Batteries should be replaced only by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity ( + and – ).
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• When not used for an extended time, remove batteries to prevent possible leakage
and damage to the unit.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire as they may leak or explode.

Turn the unit on by moving the switch
under the lie detector mint box to the
“ON” position.
Place the clamps on a friend’s middle and
index fingers with the metal inside the
clamps touching the finger pads (not nails).

Open the lie detector mint box. Then, ask
your friend a question and hit the middle
button. If the detector lights up green and
makes a “bing” sound, your friend is telling
the truth! If it’s red and makes a buzzer
sound, they may be telling a lie!
Want to fake the results? Ask a question
and press the middle button inside the
mint box. While the sound is still playing,
secretly press the left button to make the
light red (lie) or press the right button to
make the light green (truth)!
