WARNINGS
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
The appliance is only to be installed in locations where it can
be overseen by trained personnel.
The appliance must not be immersed.
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above if they have been given supervision or instruction

older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord

The appliance must not be cleaned by a water jet.
The appliance is not suitable for installation in an area where
a water jet could be used.
The appliance is only to be installed in locations where its use
and maintenance is restricted to trained personnel.
This appliance is indoor use only.
The appliance shall be disconnected from its power source
during service and when replacing parts and, if that the
removal of the plug is foreseen, it shall be clearly indicated
that the removal of the plug has to be such that an operator
can check from any of the points to which he has access that
the plug remains removed.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before operating the appliance and keep them for future
reference.
Only operate the appliance on a flat level surface that is adequate to support the
weight when full of water and keep it away from the edge of a counter to avoid
accident.
Do not place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner or near any hot surface.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case of
damage, return it to the nearest authorized service agent for examination and/or
repair.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use
and before cleaning.
Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to
disconnect the appliance from the mains socket.
NEVER attempt to move the urn when it is full of hot water!
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
Always put water in the urn before switching on.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the appliance in water.
Do not overfill the urn as there is a risk that boiling water will be ejected from
around the lid.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
result in fire, electrical shock or injury.
Do not operate the appliance without the lid securely fastened.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials. Make sure all your items are received in good
condition.
Wash all the accessories in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
Wipe the body with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners. Do not immerse the appliance, cord or
plug in water at any time.
OPERATION
1. Place the appliance upright on a dry, steady and flat surface.
2. Fill the urn with cold water up to the MAX level.
3. Twist the lid in place on the urn and plug in the appliance.
4. Switch on the appliance and then turn the temperature control to the desired
setting.
5. The RED indicator light will illuminate when water is boiling and when the water is
ready to serve, the RED indicator light will go out whilst the GREEN indicator light
will illuminate.
CAUTION:
Never open the lid while the appliance is in boiling process.
Do not touch the urn exterior while in use.

6. Depress the tap lever to the horizontal position to dispense water. Close the tap by
returning the lever to the vertical position.
7. Always make sure there is at least minimal water in the urn (see water gauge – up to
refill mark) to prevent cut-out or boil-dry.
When there is less than 3 cups of water remaining, turn off and unplug the
appliance from the mains socket.
Using the strainer to make coffee
1. Fill the urn with cold water to the desired level. Do not overfill.
2. Fit the percolator tube to the bottom of the urn and place the strainer on the
percolator tube.
3. Spread the ground coffee evenly into the strainer.
4. Twist the lid clockwise until it is locked into place.
5. Switch on the appliance and set the temperature control at 100°C.
6. When coffee is ready to serve, the GREEN indicator light will illuminate.
Boil-dry protection
If the water level is too low, the appliance will stop heating and automatically switch
off.
If this occurs, switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket and then
allow it to cool.
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains
socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Remove the lid, strainer and percolator tube. Clean them under
running water.
Always rinse the urn immediately after each use.
Pour small amount of hot water into the urn, brush sides, and
rinse with hot water until it runs clean.
Clean the interior of the urn with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly
with clean water.
Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Regularly descale the urn using a specific descaler.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES
Lisez le mode d'emploi dans son intégralité avant d'utiliser l'appareil et
gardez-le afin de pouvoir vous y référer ultérieurement.
Il est impératif d'installer l'appareil sur une surface plane et horizontale capable de
supporter son poids lorsqu'il est rempli d'eau. N'installez pas l'appareil au bord d'un
plan de travail afin d'éviter tout risque d'accident.
L’appareil ne doit pas être placé sur ou à proximité d’une cuisinière allumée (à gaz
ou électrique), ni sur quelque surface chaude que ce soit.
Ne pas utiliser en extérieur.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil s'il a subi une chute ou s'il est endommagé de quelque
manière que ce soit. En cas de dommages, rapportez l'appareil au magasin agréé le
plus proche pour le faire examiner et/ou réparer.
Éteignez et débranchez toujours l'appareil après usage et avant de le nettoyer.
Débranchez toujours l'appareil en tirant sur la fiche. Ne tirez pas sur le câble pour
débrancher l'appareil.
N'essayez EN AUCUN CAS de déplacer l’appareil quand il est rempli d'eau
bouillante !
Ne laissez pas le câble d’alimentation pendre du haut d'une table ou d'un plan de
travail, ni entrer en contact avec une surface chaude.
N'allumez jamais l’appareil avant de l'avoir rempli d'eau.
Afin d’éviter tout risque d’électrocution, ne mettez jamais l'appareil dans l’eau.
Évitez de trop remplir le réservoir, car il y aurait des risques de projections d'eau
bouillante par le couvercle.
L’utilisation d’accessoires autres que ceux recommandés par le fabricant peut être à
l’origine d’un incendie, de blessures ou de chocs électriques.
Ne faites pas fonctionner l'appareil sans le couvercle verrouillé en place.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
Enlevez tous les matériaux d'emballage. Assurez-vous que tous les éléments sont en
bon état.
Nettoyez tous les accessoires dans de l'eau chaude savonneuse. Rincez
soigneusement.
Nettoyez l'appareil en le frottant avec un chiffon humide.
N'utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs. L'appareil, le câble et
la prise ne doivent en aucun cas être mis dans l'eau.
UTILISATION
1. Placez l’appareil d'aplomb sur une surface plane, stable et sèche.
2. Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau froide jusqu'au niveau MAX.
3. Remettez le couvercle en place, verrouillez-le et allumez l'appareil.
4. Allumez l'appareil et mettez le bouton de contrôle de température sur la
température souhaitée.
5. Le témoin ROUGE s'allume pendant que l'eau est en train de chauffer. Quand l'eau
est prête à l'emploi, le témoin ROUGE s'éteint et le témoin VERT s'allume.
ATTENTION :
N'ouvrez en aucun cas le couvercle pendant que l'appareil est en train de chauffer.
Ne touchez pas l'extérieur de l’appareil quand il est en marche.
6. Pour verser de l'eau, mettez le levier du robinet à l'horizontale. Pour fermer le
robinet, remettez le levier à la verticale.
7. Afin d'éviter tout risque de coupure ou de chauffage à sec, veillez à toujours

maintenir au moins le niveau d'eau minimum dans le réservoir (voir le trait de
remplissage de la jauge).
Quand il reste moins de 3 tasses d'eau, éteignez et débranchez l'appareil.
Préparation de café avec la passoire
1. Remplissez le résevoir avec de l'eau froide jusqu'au niveau souhaité. Évitez de trop
remplir l'appareil.
2. Montez le tube de percolation sous le réservoir, et placez la passoire sur le tube.
3. Répartissez le café en poudre de manière homogène dans la passoire.
4. Tournez le couvercle dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour le verrouiller.
5. Allumez l'appareil et mettez le bouton de contrôle de température sur 100°C.
6. Quand le café est prêt à servir, le témoin VERT s'allume.
Protection antichauffe à sec
Si le niveau d’eau est trop bas, l’appareil arrête de chauffer et s’éteint
automatiquement.
Si cela se produit, éteignez l'appareil, débranchez-le et attendez qu'il ait refroidi.
NETTOYAGE ET DÉTARTRAGE
Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, éteignez-le, débranchez-le et
attendez toujours qu'il ait refroidi.
Ôtez le couvercle, la passoire et le tube de percolation.
Lavez-les sous le robinet.
Rincez toujours le réservoir immédiatement après chaque
utilisation.
Versez une petite quantité d'eau bouillante dans le réservoir,
frottez les parois, puis rincez le réservoir avec de l'eau chaude
jusqu'à ce qu'elle ressorte transparente.
Nettoyez l'intérieur du réservoir à l'aide d'une brosse à poil
mous. Rincez soigneusement avec de l'eau propre.
N'utilisez pas des produits de nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs.
Ne mettez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
Le réservoir doit être régulièrement détartré au moyen d'un
produit détartrant spécifique.

kan worden in het oog worden gehouden door opgeleid
personeel.
Dit apparaat mag niet worden ondergedompeld.
De buitenoppervlakken kunnen tijdens de werking zeer
warm worden.
WAARSCHUWING: risico van verwonding als dit apparaat niet
correct wordt gebruikt.
Het oppervlak van het warmte-element blijft na gebruik nog
een tijd zeer warm.
Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar
als zij onder toezicht staan of instructies betreffende het

Dit apparaat is niet geschikt om te worden gebruikt waar een
hogedrukreiniger kan worden gebruikt.
Dit apparaat mag uitsluitend worden geïnstalleerd waar het
wordt gebruikt en onderhouden door opgeleid personeel.
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor binnengebruik.
Dit apparaat moet van de netvoeding worden losgekoppeld
voor het onderhoud en voor het vervangen van onderdelen,
daarom moeten de stekker en het stopcontact te allen tijde
zichtbaar en gemakkelijk bereikbaar blijven.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
Lees de handleiding aandachtig voordat u dit apparaat in gebruik neemt en
bewaar voor toekomstig gebruik.
Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend op een vlakke, effen ondergrond die het gewicht
van het volle reservoir kan dragen en zet het niet vlakbij de rand van het aanrecht
om ongevallen te voorkomen.
Zet dit apparaat niet vlakbij een gas- of elektrisch fornuis of andere verwarmde
oppervlakken.
Niet buitenhuis gebruiken.
Gebruik dit apparaat niet nadat het is gevallen of op een andere manier werd
beschadigd. In geval van beschadiging brengt u het terug naar de dichtstbijzijnde
reparatieservice voor een nazicht en/of reparatie.
Schakel het apparaat altijd uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het
niet wordt gebruikt en voor het reinigen ervan.

Grijp de stekker vast om deze uit het stopcontact te trekken. Trek nooit aan het
snoer om de stekker uit het stopcontact te verwijderen.
Probeer het apparaat NOOIT te verplaatsen wanneer het vol kokend water zit!
Laat het snoer niet over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen, noch in contact
komen met verwarmde oppervlakken.
Doe altijd water in het reservoir voordat u het apparaat inschakelt.
Dompel dit apparaat niet onder in water om elektrische schokken te voorkomen.
Doe niet teveel water in het reservoir, omdat kokend water via de randen van het
deksel uit het apparaat kan worden gestoten.
Het gebruik van accessoires of hulpstukken die niet door de fabrikant zijn
aanbevolen kan leiden tot brand, elektrische schokken of verwonding.
Schakel dit apparaat niet in als het deksel niet stevig vastzit en gesloten is.

VOOR DE EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Verwijder alle verpakkingsmaterialen. Controleer of alle ontvangen items zich in
goede staat bevinden.
Was alle accessoires af in een warm sopje. Spoel grondig.
Veeg de behuizing van het apparaat schoon met een vochtig doek.
Gebruik geen schurende of chemische reinigingsmiddelen op dit apparaat. Dompel
het apparaat, het snoer of de stekker nooit onder in water.
WERKING
1. Zet het apparaat rechtop neer op een droge, stabiele en vlakke ondergrond.
2. Vul het reservoir met koud water tot op het MAX-peil.
3. Draai het deksel op het reservoir vast en sluit het apparaat aan op een stopcontact.

4. Schakel het apparaat in en draai de temperatuurschakelaar naar de gewenste stand.
5. Het RODE controlelampje brandt terwijl het water opwarmt. Het RODE
controlelampje dooft wanneer het water kookt en het GROENE controlelampje gaat
dan branden.
LET OP:
Open in geen geval het deksel terwijl het water opwarmt of kookt.
Raak de buitenkant van het waterreservoir niet aan terwijl het apparaat is
ingeschakeld.
6. Druk de hendel van het kraantje in horizontale stand om water te nemen. Sluit het
kraantje door de hendel weer in verticale stand te schakelen.
7. Let erop dat het minimum waterpeil van het waterreservoir te allen tijde wordt
gerespecteerd (zie waterpeil tot hervulmarkering) om te voorkomen dat het
apparaat droogkookt of automatisch uitschakelt.
Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer minder dan
3 koppen water in het reservoir resteren.
De filter gebruiken om koffie te zetten
1. Vul het waterreservoir met koud water tot het gewenste niveau. Niet overvullen.
2. Zet de percolatorslang in de bodem van het reservoir en zet de filter bovenop de
percolatorslang.
3. Verspreid gemalen koffie gelijkmatig over de filter.
4. Draai het deksel rechtsom zodat het vastklikt.
5. Schakel het apparaat in en schakel de temperatuurschakelaar naar 100°C.
6. Het GROENE controlelampje brandt wanneer de koffie klaar is voor het serveren.
Beveiliging tegen droogkoken
Wanneer het waterpeil te laag is stopt het apparaat met verwarmen en schakelt het
automatisch uit.
In dit geval moet u de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact halen en het
apparaat laten afkoelen.
REINIGEN EN ONTKALKEN
Haal voor het schoonmaken altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact
en laat het apparaat afkoelen.
Neem het deksel, de filter en percolatorslang uit het apparaat.
Reinig onder stromend water.
Spoel het waterreservoir altijd meteen na gebruik.
Giet een kleine hoeveelheid warm water in het reservoir,
borstel de wanden en spoel met warm water tot dit helder is.
Reinig de binnenkant van het reservoir met een zachte borstel.

Spoel zorgvuldig met schoon water.
Gebruik geen schurende of chemische reinigingsmiddelen.
Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water.
Ontkalk het apparaat regelmatig met een speciaal daarvoor
bestemde ontkalker.
