
Place the harness pad against the seat backrest,
place shoulder straps with triangular assembly
plate to the rear of the seat backrest, feed these
below the headrest of the seat.
Place the lower triangular assembly plate with the
lap and crotch straps through the gap at the
bottom of the backrest.
Position the triangular assembly plate high on the
back of the backrest, close the buckle and adjust
both shoulder belts. This is done by tightening the
belt on the triangular assembly plate.
Adjust the lap and crotch straps as necessary.
With the magnet key, remove the magnetic
buttons on the harness pad and crotch strap
assembly.
Place the passenger on the seat making sure the
crotch belt is brought through. Set crotch belt
loosely around the person.
Close the harness on the passenger, placing a
magnet button on the top fixing, then close the
crotch strap in position, placing both lower
buttons.
The crotch belt should not be too tight.
Removing the magnet buttons is done by placing
the red magnet key flat on the magnet buttons.
You may need to pinch together the layers of
harness material, particularly at the crotch strap,
so that the magnet button is free to spin, this will
make their removal simple.
Make sure the chest pad is positioned at sternum
height and is not allowed to ride upward toward
the neck.
2. Maintenance:
The Magnet Vest Harness can be washed at 40˚C, do not tumble dry.
NOTE: Do not wash the Magnet Buttons as damage will occur.
Daily maintenance before use:
Inspect the harness for damage and wear.
Check that all magnet buttons function correctly using the magnet keys provided.Ensure fixing
strap buckles are intact and in working order, including webbing adjusters. If damage or wear
are present, remove the harness from service and arrange for repair or replacement.
Make sure the chest pad is positioned at sternum
height and is not allowed to ride upward toward
the neck.
The passenger is now secure in the seat.
make adjustments to the Lap, Shoulder and
Crotch straps as necessary.
•The Lap strap should be comfortably tight.
•The Crotch strap should have no slack but
for comfort do not overtighten.
•Shoulder straps should be adjusted so as
to allow space to place your flat hand
inside the straps.
•Ensure the chest panel is not allowed to
ride up on the passenger, keep
appropriate clearance from the
passengers neck, as shown in the picture
opposite.
•Your harness is not a safety belt, Always
use the vehicle seatbelt.
Never leave passengers unattended, when using the Magnet Harness or
any other harness system.
3. Warranty:
The manufacturer's warranty covers manufacturing, materials and functions of the equipment
supplied. The warranty is applicable when the equipment is operated in accordance with
instructions for use and for the purpose for which the equipment is designed.
The warranty covers repair of defects in the equipment supplied.
Warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, or damages due to misuse and abuse.
All repairs and replacement of components during the warranty period shall be made only with
prior consent and approval of the manufacturer.
Warranty does not cover shipping, postage, packaging or any other costs associated.
The warranty period is for 12 months from date of supply.
