How does the PC 105 work?
With a sleek and compact design, the PC 105 is a forward facing entry level dash cam
designed to offer outstanding value for money, security and reassurance whilst driving
during the day or night. Suitable for any vehicle, it records in HD quality, ensuring that
all the details of your journey are recorded and available in HD during playback.

The PC 105 records video onto a micro SD card which is fitted into a slot on the camera.
The amount of video stored depends on the size of SD card being used, the PC 105 can support SD cards
with a capacity of up to 32GB. As a guide, when recording in HD, 6 minutes of video uses about 1GB of
space on the SD card.
The PC 105 records in segments, the length of which is pre-set to 2 minutes, but can be adjusted using
the simple menu functions on the camera.
When the SD card is full, the PC 105 operates on a loop recording system, overwriting the oldest recording
and continues to record without the need to erase or download any data.

1The PC 105 should be attached to the vehicle in car power supply at all
times. The internal battery is for emergency use only, for example, to take
still pictures in the event of an incident.
2The PC 105,when connected to the in vehicle power supply, will turn on
and off withthe engine. Once it hasbeen set up, it can be left in place
withoutneed for adjustment or further setting. The PC 105 records using
loop technology, so when the SD card is full, the PC 105 will automatically
overwrite the oldest files and continue recording .
3The PC 105 has a screen saver setting, sothat after a short time the
screen turns off. This setting can be adjusted by accessing the relevant
menu setting.

It is recommended that you check the PC 105 at least once a month to
make sure itis operating and recording properly.

If you wish to view the footage recorded by the PC 105 you can do this in
two ways:
a) remove the SD card from the PC 105 and, usinga SD card reader,
insert into a computer. Files can then be viewed in the same way as
a digital camera.
b) connect the camera to a computer using the supplied sync cable. Files
can then be viewed in the same way asa digital camera.
PC 105 Dash Cam Set up Guide:
Everything required to set up and use the PC 105 is included in the box.
1Connect the suction pad to the PC 105.
2Insert the USB end of the car charger into the PC 105.
3Fit the PC 105 with suction pad onto the windscreen.
4Any excess cable can normally be tucked into the ceilingofthe vehicle.

Insert the charger endof the car charger into the in vehicle power socket.

6A protective film on the lens will affect the video or photographic effect,
remove the protective film before using the device.
7Start the engine and the PC 105 will turn on and start recording
immediately.
Note - if your vehicle in car power remains on after the car engine has
been turned off, you may need to remove the power lead, or turn the
PC 105 off using the power button. This is because if the in car power
remains on, the PC 105 will not know that the engine has been
turned off.

If you wish to set the time, or adjust any menu settings, push the REC
button, which will stop the PC 105 recording, and then push the MENU
button (last button on the left) to enter the Menu. There are 2 menu levels,
the second of which is entered by pushing the MENU button for a second
time. Scroll up and down using the up and down buttons, and then select
the menu items you wish to change by pushing the REC button (middle
button on the right).

electromagnetic fields. Exposure to strong magnetic fields may cause
malfunctions or data corruption and loss.
›The system is used only for non-commercial use,within the maximum
limits permitted by applicable law. Our company does not accept any
responsibility for any data loss duringthe operation.
›Improper use or operation of theproduct may result in damage of the
productor its accessories and void the warranty.
›Before you start using the system, it is assumed that you agree to the
above statement.
Battery Warning and Installation Notes
›Always charge using the provided in car charger. Improper handlingof the
battery may result in explosion.
›Never dismantle or pierce the battery or allow the battery to short-circuit.
›Batteries may explode if exposed to naked fire. Never dispose of batteries
in a fire.
›Dispose of used batteries observing local regulations.
›Never replace the battery on your own,have the dealer do it for you.
›This productshould be installed near the rear view-mirror, at the centre of
windshield, if possible, for optimal viewing.
›Do not touchthe lens with your fingers. Finger grease may be lefton the
lens and will result in unclear videos or snapshots. Clean the lens on a
regular basis.
›Do not attempt to disassemble or alter any part of the device that is not
described in this guide.
THE LITIUM-ION BATTERY CONTAINED IN THE PRODUCT MUST BE
RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY. USE PROOFCAM DASH CAM
ONLY WITH THE SUPPLIED DC POWER LEAD AND AC ADAPTER FOR
BATTERY CHARGING.
To recycle your ProofCam Dash Cam unit, please take it to your local recycling
centre. This product fully satisfies the requirements for CE markingwhen used
in a residential, commercial or light industrial environment.
This equipment complies with the essential requirements of EU Directive 99/5/EC.
Do notuse this product on board aircraft, orin hospitals,without first
obtaining Permission.
Warranty
This ProofCam Dash Cam is warranted to be free from defects in materials or
workmanship from one year from the date of purchase. Within this period,
ProofCam will repair or replace any part or parts that fail provided such failure
is not deemed to be as a result of misuse or damage caused. The warranty does
not apply to cosmetic damage not to consumables such as batteries or storage
cards. At our option, we will either repair or replace any cameras thatare
deemed to be eligible under the terms of this warranty. Any damage or fault
not covered under this warranty.
If you have a camera that requires service under warranty, then in the first
instance you should return it to the retailer from whom it was purchased.
