Congratulations on your purchase of the Propeaq
Light Glasses
This manual will help you using the Propeaq light glasses. You can
operate the light glasses manually.
To beat winter blues, wear the glasses for 30 minutes in the morning
immediately after getting up with blue lights on. For an energy boost,
wear the glasses for 30 minutes during the day, but not after 8 p.m. A
detailed instruction to prevent jet lag or to avoid fatigue during
nightshift, consult the free Propeaq app.
Contents of the package
The Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B are supplied in a complete package with
a USB cable, microfibre case and cleaning cloth, light blue lenses, orange
lenses and stylish frame with integrated LEDs.
On the inside of the frame of the glasses you
will find the on/off button, the battery
indicator light and the micro-USB port.

Using the glasses
Use the blue-light glasses if you have been prescribed blue light of the
Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B. If you wish, you can also use the light glasses
without lenses in the frame.
You use the orange lenses when the blue part of daylight or ambient
light needs to be blocked / filtered. The blue light must be switched off
when the orange glasses are used.
The lenses are removable and equipped with UV protection.
Before use
Before using the Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B, charge the battery first.
1. Insert the micro USB cable into the device.
2. Connect the other end, the USB, directly to a PC or an adapter and
connect it to the power supply.
3. Charge the glasses until the battery indicator (next to the on/off
button) indicates that the battery is fully charged. If the battery is
completely discharged, charging takes approximately 2 hours.
Thereafter, the period of use is approx. 2 hours; it may be somewhat
shorter at the beginning.
Battery
To maximize battery life, we recommend turning off the Propeaq light
glasses 1.0 B when not in use. Extremely cold temperatures can affect
the duration of the battery negatively. To maximize battery capacity in
cold weather conditions, the glasses should be stored in a warm place
(room temperature) or be put in a warm place before use.
Use of the Propeaq app
1. Download the Propeaq app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play
(Android)
2. Follow the steps in the app, starting with step 1
You can download the Propeaq app from the Apple store or the Google
Play store.
After downloading, add your personal information according to the app
screens to determine your chrono type.
Make sure the information is correct. The app uses this data for
calculations in order to generate a personal user schedule.

Manual operation
The table gives an overview of the use of the Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B.
After
30 minutes, the light glasses turn off by themselves.
Warning
•
Do not use the Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B longer than intended. In
most cases, that is 30 minutes.
•
Do not use the Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B in traffic or in other
conditions that require good visibility.
•
The Propeaq light glasses 1.0 B must not be used in a damp or wet
environment.

To change the lenses, push the lens from the outside to the inside on the
side off the glasses. See figure 1. Place your thumb on the outside of the
lens and push the lens out of the frame. To place a new lens, place the
nose side of the lens on the inside of the nose bridge and press the lens
into the frame until you hear a click. This requires some force the first
few times. The lenses and the frame cannot be damaged
by these acts. Hold the frame and
your thumbs as indicated on

Gebruikers Handleiding
Van harte gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw
Propeaq lichtbril
Deze handleiding zal u helpen bij het gebruik van uw Propeaq lichtbril. U
kunt de lichtbril handmatig bedienen.
Ter bestrijding van winterblues draag de bril met 30 minuten blauw licht
in de ochtend, direct na opstaan. Voor een energie-boost draag de bril
30 minuten gedurende de dag, maar niet na 20.00 u. Een gedetailleerde
instructie ter voorkoming van een jetlag of ter bestrijding van
vermoeidheid tijdens nachtarbeid, raadpleeg de gratis Propeaq app.
De inhoud van de doos
De Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B wordt geleverd in een compleet pakket met
een USB kabel, een microfiber etui en een poetsdoekje, lichtblauwe
glazen, oranje glazen en een stijlvol montuur met geïntegreerde LED’s.
Binnenin het montuur vindt u de aan-
/uitknop, de batterij-indicator lichtjes en de
micro-USB-sleuf.

De glazen - het gebruik van de glazen
De lichtblauwe glazen gebruikt u wanneer blauw licht van de Propeaq
lichtbril 1.0 B is voorgeschreven. Naar wens kunt u de lichtbril ook
zonder lichtblauwe glazen in het montuur gebruiken.
De oranje glazen gebruikt u om het blauwe deel van het daglicht of
omgevingslicht te blokkeren. Het blauwe licht moet zijn uitgeschakeld
wanneer de oranje glazen gebruikt worden.
De glazen zijn eventueel uitneembaar en zijn voorzien van UV-
bescherming.
Vóór gebruik
Laad voor gebruik van de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B bril eerst de batterij
volledig op.
1. Steek de micro-USB in de lichtbril.
2. Verbind het andere uiteinde, de USB, direct met een pc, ofwel een
adapter en plaats deze in een wandcontactdoos.
3. Laad de lichtbril bril op tot de batterij-indicator, rechts naast de
aan/uitknop, aangeeft dat de batterij volledig is opgeladen. Bij een
volledig lege batterij duurt dit circa 2 uur. Hierna is de gebruiksduur circa
2 uur, in het begin mogelijk iets korter.
Om de lenzen te wisselen duwt u aan zijkant van buiten naar binnen
tegen de lens. Zie afbeelding 1. Plaats uw duim aan de buitenkant van de
lens en druk de lens uit het montuur. Voor het plaatsen van een nieuwe
lens zet u de neuszijde van de lens aan de binnenkant van de neusbrug
en drukt u de lens in het montuur totdat u een klik hoort. Hiervoor is de
eerste keren enige kracht nodig. De lenzen en het montuur
kunnen niet beschadigen door deze
handelingen. Houdt het montuur
en uw duimen zoals aangegeven
op afbeelding 2.
De batterij
Om de levensduur van de batterij te maximaliseren adviseren we u de
Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B uit te schakelen wanneer u hem niet gebruikt.
Extreme koude temperaturen kunnen de levensduur van de batterij
negatief beïnvloeden. Om de capaciteit van de batterij in koude
omstandigheden te maximaliseren, kunt u de bril op een warme plaats
(kamertemperatuur) bewaren dan wel deze voorafgaande aan het
gebruik op een warme plaats leggen.
Gebruik van de Propeaq app
1. Download de Propeaq app uit de App Store (iOS) of Google Play
(Android)
2. Volg de stappen in de app, beginnend bij stap 1
U kunt de Propeaq app downloaden vanuit de Apple store of de Google
Play store.
Voeg na het downloaden uw persoonlijke gegevens toe volgens de
schermen van de app om uw chrono type te bepalen.
Zorg ervoor dat de gegevens correct zijn. De app gebruikt uw chrono
type voor berekeningen om zodoende een persoonlijk
gebruikersschema te genereren.

Handmatig gebruik
In het schema ziet u hoe u de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B gebruikt.
Na 30 minuten schakelt de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B zichzelf uit
Waarschuwing
•Gebruik de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B niet langer dan voorgeschreven. In
de meeste gevallen is dit 30 minuten.
•Gebruik de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B niet in het verkeer of in andere
omstandigheden waarbij goed zicht vereist is.
•Gebruik de Propeaq lichtbril 1.0 B niet in een vochtige of natte
omgeving.
