250 PSI Air Compressor
Operating Instructions:
1. Do not run the compressor for more than
10 minutes at a time. If you need to use it for longer,
turn it off and let it rest for 10 minutes before starting again.
2. This compressor is not designed for inflating high pressure tires
such as those used on trucks, trailers or tractors.
3. Do not operate for more than 7 minutes when running at 75 PSI or above.
4. Never leave the compressor unattended when in use.
5. This compressor is powered only by a car’s 12 V cigarette lighter receptacle. Do not
attempt to plug into a standard AC power outlet.
To Inflate Tires:
1. Move vehicle so that the valve is on the bottom as close to the ground as possible.
Place the air compressor next to the tire.
2. Plug the power cord into the 12V cigarette lighter receptacle.
3. Place connector on valve stem and push down as far as possible to close the thumb
lock.
4. Unplug the power cord when the correct pressure is reached.
5. Remove the connector from tire valve.
6. Always leave the thumb lock in the open position when storing the compressor.
For Inflatables:
1. Select the suitable adapter and insert it into
the connector. Close the thumb lock.
2. Check product instructions for specific pressures.
For example, check the instructions that come with
a bicycle tire to find the appropriate PSI.
3. Insert adapter into article to be inflated.
4. Plug power cord into a cigarette lighter receptacle.
5. Unplug the power cord when the correct pressure is reached.
6. Remove adapter from inflated article. Remove adapter from connector. Remember to
leave thumb lock in open position when storing.
7. Always check item being inflated for correct pressure gauge. Avoid excessive
pressure in low pressure objects.
WARNING
Avoid over-inflating. Never exceed the recommended pressure. Items over inflated may
burst and cause serious injury.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Compressor Does Not Start/Blows Fuses
1. Push the power plug firmly into the cigarette lighter receptacle and twist it back and
forth.
2. Check receptacle and plug terminals for dirt.
*Avoid risk of electrocution. Do not use fingers or conductive materials to check
cigarette lighter receptacle.
3. Check lighter fuse. This should be 15 amps minimum.
4. Power cord is unplugged.
Compressor Runs But Does Not Inflate
1. Make sure the connector is pushed down on the valve stem as far down as possible
before closing the thumb lock.
2. Check article for leaks.
3. Check hose for breaks and leaks at fittings.
Compressor Runs Slowly
1. Overheated from excessive use. Unplug power cord and leave it to cool for 30
minutes.
2. Voltage is too low. Check condition of car battery.
CAUTION
1. This compressor is capable of inflating up to 250 PSI. To avoid over inflation follow
operating instructions as required. Do not exceed recommended pressure at any
time. Do not leave unit unattended while operating.
2. The compressor should be kept out of reach of small children.
3. Ensure that the connector is screwed into the valve stem until it locks firmly
in place.
