Um den Gehörschutz aus der ak-
tiven Stellung in die Parkstellung
zu bringen, ziehen Sie diesen nach
außen und schieben ihn dann
nach hinten.
Um die optimale Ohrenhöhe einzustellen,
drücken Sie die Gehörschutzkapseln
nach oben oder ziehen Sie diese nach
unten, sodass Ihr Ohr angenehm in der
Gehörschutzkapsel liegt.

BENUTZERINFORMATIONEN:
1. Einsatzbereich:
Die Protos® Integral Gehörschützer dürfen nur an den folgenden Schutzhelmen
befestigt und an ihnen getragen werden:
• Protos® Integral Industry (Art.Nr. 202000 / 402000)
• Protos® Integral Forest (Art.Nr. 204000 / 204002 / 404000 / 404002)
• Protos® Integral Arborist (Art.Nr. 205000 / 205002 / 405000/ 405002)
• Protos® Integral Climber (Art.Nr. 203000 / 403000)
2. Werkstoffe:
Die Gehörschutzkapseln bestehen aus ABS (Acrylnitrill-Butadienstyrol) und sind
recyclebar. Die Dichtungskissen werden aus Schaumstoff, der Haltebügel aus PAGF
und die Absorptionseinlagen aus PU-Schaum gefertigt.
3. Montage:
Die Montage des Protos® Integral Gehörschutzes ist sehr einfach zu bedienen,
gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:

Der Anpressdruck, mit dem die Gehör-
schutzkapsel Ihr Ohr optimal abdichtet,
ist verstellbar. Entfernen Sie dazu den
Gehörschutz. Drücken Sie auf die rote
„Press“-Taste, um den Gehörschutz aus
der Helmschale zu ziehen.

5. Größenbereich:
Diese Helm-Kapselgehörschützer-Kombination liegt im Größenbereich „Groß“.
Helm-Kapselgehörschützer-Kombinationen nach EN 352-3 werden im „mittleren
Größenbereich“, dem „Größenbereich klein“ und dem „Größenbereich Groß“
angeboten. Helm-Kapselgehörschützer-Kombinationen des „Mittleren Größenbe-
reiches“ passen der großen Mehrheit der Benutzer. Helm-Kapselgehörschützer-
Kombinationen des Größenbereiches „klein“ oder „Groß“ sind für Benutzer
vorgesehen, für die Helm-Kapselgehörschützer-Kombinationen des „mittleren
Größenbereiches“ nicht geeignet sind.

9. Warnung:
Dieses Produkt soll die schädlichen Auswirkungen von Lärm reduzieren. Der
Benutzer muss selbst die Eignung des Produkts für die zu erwartende Lärmbe-
lastung sicher stellen. Stellen Sie auch sicher, dass Ihr Gehörschutz laut Herstel-
lerhinweisen montiert, eingestellt und regelmäßig gewartet wird! Werden diese
Empfehlungen nicht befolgt, so wird die Schutzwirkung des Gehörschutzes
ernsthaft beeinträchtigt, was in Folge zu lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen oder zu
gesundheitsschädlichen Folgen führen kann!
Bereits kurzzeitige Nichtbenutzung des Gehörschutzes kann zu Gehörschäden
führen. Bei langzeitiger Lärmbelastung ist eine regelmäßige Gehöruntersuchung
zu empfehlen.Die Umhüllung der Dichtungskissen mit Hygieneüberzügen, Brillen-
bügel, Mützen usw.kann die akustische Leistung des Gehörschutzes beeinträchti-
gen. Kein Gehörschutz kann absoluten Schutz vor Gehörschädigungen bieten.Bei
angelegtem Gehörschutz ist erhöhte Achtsamkeit und Umsicht erforderlich, weil
das Wahrnehmen von gefahrankündigenden Geräuschen (Schreie, Signaltöne u.a.)
eingeschränkt ist.
Eine optimale Schutzwirkung wird nur dann erreicht, wenn der Gehörschutz bei
Lärm ständig getragen wird und die Hinweise des Herstellers beachtet werden!
Ein Gehörschutz der nicht passend und dicht eingestellt werden kann, dämmt den
Lärm nicht wie angegeben und darf deshalb nicht verwendet werden. Wenden
Sie sich dann an Ihren PSA-Verantwortlichen oder an Protos. Nur original Protos
Ersatzteile sind zulässig und normgerecht.
10. Reinigung:
Reinigen Sie den Gehörschutz äußerlich regelmäßig mit handwarmem Seifenwas-
ser (nicht in Wasser tauchen!). Dieses Produkt kann durch bestimmte chemische
Substanzen leiden. Unsachgemäße Reinigung und Pflege kann die Schutzwirkung
des Produktes negativ beeinflussen. Weitere Angaben sollten beim Hersteller
angefordert werden!
11. Wartung:
Kapselgehörschützer und besonders die Dichtungskissen können mit dem Ge-
brauch verschleißen und sollten daher häufig auf Zeichen von Rissen, Verhärtun-
gen und/oder Undichtigkeiten überprüft und gegebenenfalls ersetzt werden.

7. Sonderanforderung:
Dieses Modell eines Kapselgehörschützers hat die Sonderanforderungen bei -20°C
erfüllt.

12. Lagerung:
Die Protos® Integral Gehörschützer sollen vor hohen Temperaturen (über + 40° C),
Feuchtigkeit und starkem Sonnenlicht während der Lagerung geschützt werden.
Eine Lagerung mit Schutz vor UV-Strahlung und Hitze (z.B. in der Lieferverpackung,
nicht im direkten Sonnenlicht) beugt dem Altern des Materials vor.Wenn Sie Ihren
Protos® Integral Schutzhelm längere Zeit nicht in Verwendung haben, empfehlen
wir den Gehörschutz in der aktiven Stellung zu lagern. Achten Sie auch darauf,
dass die Kissen während der Lagerung nicht gedrückt werden.

14. Austausch der Dichtungskissen:
Entfernen Sie zuerst den Gehörschutz von der Helmschale.
Jetzt legen Sie das neue Auflagepolster auf die Kapsel
und drücken dieses gleichmäßig nach unten bis es
rundherum einschnappt.
Halten Sie die Kapsel

fest in Ihrer Hand und
haken seitlich mit
Zeige- und Mittelfinger
unter das Auflagepols-

USER INFORMATION:
1. Application:
Protos® Integral ear protectors may only be attached to and worn with the fol-
lowing protective helmets:
• Protos® Integral Industry (Art.Nr. 202000 /402000)
• Protos® Integral Forest (Art.Nr. 204000 /204002 / 404000 /404002)
• Protos® Integral Arborist (Art.Nr. 205000 / 205002 / 405000 /405002)

2. Materials:
The ear pieces are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and are recyclab-
le. The ear cushions are made of foam, the clamp of PAGF and the absorptive lining
of PU-foam.
3. Installation:
It is very easy to install the Protos® Integral ear protectors. To do so, proceed
as follows:

The Protos Pl ear protectors have been tested and are certified under the Euro-
pean EN 352-3:2002 norm. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep
all operating and maintenance manuals. To guarantee the best-possible protection,
comfort and functionality of Protos® Integral protective helmets, it is vital to take
notice of the following information!

To adjust for optimal height, push the ear
pieces up or down until they fit comfortab-
ly over your ears.

4. Adjustment Options:
The pressure, with which the ear pie-
ces fit over your ears, can be adjusted.
To do so, remove the ear protectors.
Press on the red “Press”- tab to pull
the ear protectors from the shell of the
helmet.

5. Size range:
This helmet - ear protector combination is size “Large”. Helmet - ear protector
combinations under the EN 352-3 norm are available in the sizes “Medium”,
“Small” and “Large”. Helmet - ear protector combinations of the size “Medium”
will fit the great majority of users.
“Small” or “Large”-sized helmet - ear protector combinations are intended for
users for whom the “Medium”-sized helmet - ear protector combination is not
suitable.

7. Special Requirement:
This closed ear protector model has met the special requirement of operating at
-20°C.
8. Weight:
220g for 2 ear pieces incl. support brackets.
9. Warning:
This product is designed to reduce the harmful effects of noise. Users must assure
themselves of the suitability of the product for the expected noise exposure. Also
make sure that your hearing protector is fitted, adjusted and regularly serviced in
accordance with the manufacturer‘s instructions. If these recommendations are
not followed, the protective effect of the hearing protector may be seriously im-
paired, which can lead to life-threatening injuries or harmful consequences. Even
brief non-use of the hearing protector can lead to hearing damage. In the case
of long-term exposure to noise, regular hearing examination is recommended.
Covering the sealing pads with hygienic covers, spectacle earpieces, hats, etc. may
affect the acoustic performance of the hearing protector. No hearing protector can
provide absolute protection against hearing damage. When the hearing protector
is worn, greater attentiveness and caution is required because the perception of
noises heralding danger (screams, signal tones, etc.) is hampered.
Optimal protection can only be achieved if the ear protectors are constantly worn
during exposure to noise and if manufacturer recommendations are followed! A
hearing protector that cannot be adjusted to fit and be tight does not attenuate
the noise as specified and must, therefore, not be used. Please contact your PPI
responsible person or Protos. Only original Protos spare parts are permitted and
standard-compliant.
10. Cleaning:
Regularly clean the outside of the ear protectors with lukewarm soapy water (do
not immerse in water!). This product can be impaired by certain chemical substan-
ces. Improper cleaning and maintenance may impair the protective performance
of the product. For further information, please contact the manufacturer!
11. Maintenance:
A hearing protector that cannot be adjusted to fit and be tight does not attenuate
the noise as specified and must, therefore, not be used. Please contact your

PPI responsible person or Protos. Only original Protos spare parts are permitted
and +standard-compliant.
12. Storage:
Make sure to protect the Protos® Integral ear protectors against exposure to high
temperatures (over + 40° C) and strong sunlight during storage. Storage providing
protection against UV rays and heat (e.g. in the original packaging, not in direct
sunlight) is the best way to keep the material from aging and to increase the
service life of the product. If you do not use your Protos® Integral protective helmet
for a longer time, we recommend leaving the ear protectors in the active position
and setting the pressure to 0.

14. Changing the ear piece cushions:
First, remove the ear protection from the helmet shell.
Now place the new pad on the earmuffs and press
down evenly until it engages all around.

Passez les capsules de protection auditive de
la position rentrée à la position active de ma-
nière à ce qu‘elles touchent vos oreilles. Pour
régler au mieux la hauteur des oreilles, pous-
sez les capsules de protection auditive vers
le haut ou tirez-les vers le bas de manière à
ce que votre -oreille repose confortablement
dans la capsule.

l‘extérieur, puis poussez-la vers
l‘arrière.

4. Possibilités de réglage:
La force de compression permettant
aux capsules de protection d‘isoler
votre oreille au mieux est réglable.
Pour ce faire, retirez la protection au-
ditive. Appuyez sur le „bouton-pous-
soir“ rouge pour sortir la protection
auditive de la coque du casque.

5. Plage de dimensions:
Ce combiné de capsules de protection auditive pour casques est en grande taille.
Ces combinés de capsules de protection auditive pour casques conformes à la EN
352-3 sont vendus en taille moyenne, petite taille et grande taille. Les combinés
de capsules de protection auditive de taille moyenne ¬vont à la grande majorité
des utilisateurs. Les combinés de capsules de protection auditive en petite taille ou
en grande taille sont prévus pour des utilisateurs auxquels les combinés de taille
moyenne ne vont pas.

7. Prescriptions spéciales:
Ce modèle de protecteur auditif à capsule a répondu aux prescriptions spéciales à
-20° C.
8. Poids:

9. Avertissement:
Ce produit doit réduire les effets nocifs du bruit. L‘utilisateur doit s‘assurer lui-mê-
me de l‘adéquation du produit pour les nuisances sonores à prévoir. Assurez-vous
également que la protection auditive est montée, réglée et soumise régulièrement
à la maintenance selon les consignes du fabricant! Si ces recommandations
ne sont pas suivies, l‘effet de protection de la protection auditive est fortement
perturbé, ce qui peut entraîner des blessures mortelles ou des conséquences
nocives pour la santé! L‘absence d‘utilisation de la protection auditive même
pendant une courte durée peut entraîner des dégâts de l‘ouïe. En cas de nuisances
sonores prolongées, un examen régulier de l‘ouïe est recommandé. Le revêtement
des coussinets d‘étanchéité avec des housses hygiéniques, branches de lunettes,
bonnets, etc. peut perturber la performance acoustique de la protection auditive.
Aucune protection auditive ne peut offrir une protection totale contre les dégâts
de l‘ouïe. Lorsque la protection auditive est portée, une prudence et une attention
accrues sont nécessaires, car la perception des bruits annonceurs de danger (cris,
signaux d‘avertissement, etc.) est limitée. Un effet de protection optimale n‘est ob-
tenu que si la protection auditive est portée constamment en cas de bruit et si les
consignes du fabricant sont suivies! Une protection auditive qui ne peut pas être
réglée de manière adaptée et étanche n‘insonorise pas le bruit comme indiqué et
ne doit donc pas être utilisée. Dans ce cas, adressez-vous à votre responsable de
l‘EPI ou à Protos. Seules les pièces de rechange Protos d‘origine sont autorisées et
conformes aux normes.
10. Nettoyage:
Nettoyez régulièrement l‘extérieur de la protection auditive avec de l‘eau sa-
vonneuse à température du corps (sans la tremper dans l‘eau!). Ce produit peut
être endommagé par certaines substances chimiques. Un nettoyage inadapté peut
nuire à l‘effet protecteur du produit. Autres indications fournies sur demande par
le fabricant!
11. Entretien:
Les casques antibruit et les coussinets d‘étanchéité peuvent s‘user avec l‘utilisation
et doivent par conséquent être contrôlés régulièrement à la recherche de fissures,
durcissement et/ou de fuites ainsi que remplacés le cas échéant.

12. Stockage:
Les protecteurs auditifs Protos® Integral doivent être protégés des hautes tem-
pératures (+ de 40° C) et de l‘ensoleillement intense pendant leur stockage. Un
stockage assurant une protection contre le rayonnement UV et la chaleur (par
exemple dans l‘emballage de livraison, en dehors de la lumière solaire directe)
prévient au mieux le vieillissement du matériau et augmente donc la longévité du
produit. Si vous n‘utilisez pas votre casque protecteur Protos® Integral pendant un
certain temps, nous vous conseillons de le laisser en position activée et de mettre
la force de compression sur 0.

14. Echange des coussins d‘étanchéité:
Retirez d‘abord la protection auditive de la coque du casque.
Placez maintenant le nouveau coussin d‘appui sur la capsule et enfoncez-le réguli-
èrement vers le bas jusqu‘à ce qu‘il s‘enclenche de tous les côtés.
Tenez fermement la capsule
de la protection auditive dans
votre main et saisissez-la latéra-
lement avec l‘index et le majeur
par le dessous de la garniture
rembourrée. Elle s‘enlève en
tirant légèrement.

Gli otoprotettori Protos possono essere fissati e portati sui seguenti elmetti
protettivi:

2. Materiali:
Le capsule dell‘otoprotettore realizzate in materiale ABS (acrilonitril-butadien-
stirolo) sono riciclabili. I cuscinetti isolanti sono realizzati in espanso, la staffa di
sostegno, invece, in PAGF, mentre gli inserti di assorbimento sono in schiuma PU.
3. Montaggio:
l‘otoprotettore Protos® Integral si lascia montare facilmente. A questo proposito
procedere nel seguente modo:

5.Campo di grandezza:
La combinazione casco-otoprotettore rientra nella gamma di misure „grande“.
Le combinazioni casco-otoprotettore a norma EN 352-3 vengono proposte nella
„gamma di misure medie“, „gamma di misure piccola“ e „gamma di misure
grande“. Le combinazioni casco-otoprotettore della „gamma di misure medie“
sono le combinazioni più diffuse tra gli operatori. Le combinazioni casco-otopro-
tettore della gamma di misure „piccola“ o „grande“ si rivolgono agli operatori
che non possono portare le combinazioni della „gamma di misure medie“.

Questo modello di otoprotettore ha soddisfatto i requisiti speciali in condizioni di
-20 °.
8. Massa:
220g per 2 capsule con bracci di supporto.
9. Avvertenza:
Questo prodotto ha lo scopo di ridurre gli effetti nocivi del rumore. L‘utilizzatore
deve garantire egli stesso l‘idoneità del prodotto per l‘intensità di rumore prevista.
Garantire anche che la protezione per l‘udito sia montata, regolata e regolamente
manutenuta come descritto nelle indicazioni del produttore! Se queste raccoman-
dazioni non vengono rispettate, l‘effetto protettivo della protezione per l‘udito
viene seriamente compromessa, cosa da cui possono conseguire gravi lesioni o
severe conseguenze in fatto di salute corporea! Già un breve non utilizzo della
protezione per l‘udito può provocare danni all‘udito. In caso di rumorosità pro-
lungata, si raccomanda di lasciare controllare periodicamente l‘udito. La copertura
dei cuscini fonoassorbenti con fodere igieniche, astine di occhiali, berretti ecc.
può compromettere la funzionalità fonoassorbente della protezione per l‘udito.
Nessuna protezione per l‘udito può offrire una protezione assoluta da danni
all‘udito. Con protezione per l‘udito indossata, è necessaria particolare attenzione
e prudenza, in quanto la percezione di rumori originati da possibili pericoli (urla,
toni segnaletici ecc.) è limitata. L‘ottimale azione protettiva è garantita solo se
l‘otoprotettore viene costantemente portato durante la fase di esposizione ai
rumori e se si osservano le indicazioni del produttore! Una protezione per l‘udito di
taglia sbagliata e non regolabile non assorbe il rumore come indicato e non deve
dunque essere utilizzata. Rivolgersi in tal caso al vostro responsabile per dispositivi
di protezione individuale o alla Protos. È ammesso esclusivamente l‘uso di pezzi di
ricambio a norma della Protos.
10. Pulizia:
Pulire periodicamente l‘otoprotettore dall‘esterno con acqua saponata tiepida (non im-
mergerlo nell‘acqua!). Il prodotto potrebbe infatti essere incompatibile con determinate
sostanze chimiche. La pulizia e la manutenzione impropria possono pregiudicare la
funzione protettiva del prodotto. Per maggiori informazioni consultare il produttore!

11. Manutenzione:
Le protezioni per l‘udito ad incapsulamento e in particolar modo i cuscini
fonoassorbenti sono soggetti ad usura e dovrebbero dunque essere controllati
spesso per verificare la presenza di crepe, indurimenti e/o zone non fonoassor-
benti, con conseguente loro sostituzione.
12. Stoccaggio:
Durante lo stoccaggio, non esporre l‘otoprotettore Protos® Integral alle alte
temperature (oltre 40° C) e alle intense radiazioni solari. Proteggendo la visiera
dai raggi UV e dal calore (mettendola per esempio nella confezione e al riparo
dalle dirette radiazioni solari), si può prevenire l‘invecchiamento del materiale,
aumentando così la durata del prodotto. Se il casco integrale Protos® non viene
utilizzato per un lungo periodo, è consigliabile lasciare l‘otoprotettore in posizi-
one attiva e impostare la pressione di regolazione sullo 0. Se non usate il vostro
casco protettivo Protos® Integral per un periodo prolungato, raccomandiamo di
conservarlo in posizione attiva.

14. Sostituzione dei cuscinetti isolanti:
Staccare dapprima l‘otoprotettore dal guscio del casco.
Posizionare ora il nuovo cuscinetto di appoggio sulla
capsula e premerla in maniera uniforme verso il basso
sino a che non si innesta lungo tutto il perimetro.
Tenere saldamente in mano
la capsula dell‘otoprotettore
e innestarla lateralmente
sotto il cuscinetto di suppor-
to, aiutandosi con l‘indice e
il dito medio. Il cuscinetto si
lascia tirare via facilmente.

Las orejeras de protección auditiva Protos® Integral sólo se colocar y llevar puestas
en las orejeras de protección indicados a continuación:

2. Material:
Las orejeras de protección auditivas están hechas de copolímero de acrilonitrilo,
butadieno y estireno (ABS) y son reciclables. Las almohadillas de estanqueidad
son de gomaespuma, la estructura de sujeción de poliamida reforzada con fibra
de vidrio y las inserciones de absorción están hechas de espuma de poliuretano.
3. Montaje:
El montaje de las orejeras de protección auditiva Protos® Integral es muy fácil, siga
los pasos descritos a continuación:

según la norma EN 352-3:2002. Lea atentamente las instrucciones de uso y funcion-

orejeras de protección auditiva Protos® Integral, es imprescindible que tenga en

4. Posibilidades de ajuste:
La presión de ajuste con la que el
casco aditivo protege de forma óp-
tima su oído se puede regular. Para
ello retire las orejeras de protección
auditiva. Presione el botón rojo para
sacar las orejeras del casco.

5. Rango de tamaños:
Esta combinación de casco protector y orejeras de protección auditiva es del
tamaño “grande”.
Los conjuntos de casco protector y orejeras se ofrecen según la norma
EN 352-3 en los tamaños “mediano”, “pequeño” y “grande”. El conjunto de tama-
ño “mediano” suele ser adecuado para la mayoría de los usuarios. Los conjuntos
del tamaño “pequeño” o “grande” están previstos para usuarios que no les vale
el tamaño “mediano”.

7. Requisitos adicionales de calidad:
Este modelo de orejeras de protección auditiva resiste también temperaturas muy
bajas de hasta -20°C.
8. Peso:

9. Advertencia:
Este producto ha sido concebido para reducir los efectos dañinos causados por
el ruido. El propio usuario deberá asegurarse de que el producto es apto para el
nivel de ruido que cabe esperar. Asegúrese además de montar, ajustar y someter
su protector auditivo a un mantenimiento regular según las indicaciones del
fabricante. Si no se siguen estas recomendaciones, la eficacia de protección del
protector auditivo quedará seriamente mermada, lo que podría dar lugar a lesio-
nes mortales o tener consecuencias nocivas para la salud.La omisión del uso del
protector auditivo puede causar daños al oído incluso si solo se produce durante
un breve periodo de tiempo. En caso de una exposición al ruido de larga duración,
se recomienda someterse a un examen auditivo con regularidad.El recubrimiento
de las almohadillas de obturación con fundas higiénicas, brazos de gafas, gorros,
etc., puede perjudicar el rendimiento acústico del protector auditivo. Ningún pro-
tector auditivo puede ofrecer protección absoluta frente a daños en el oído. Con
el protector auditivo colocado se deberá extremar la atención y la precaución, ya
que su uso limita la percepción de sonidos indicadores de peligro (gritos, señales
acústicas, etc.). Sólo se logra una protección máxima si al haber contaminación
acústica siempre se lleva puesta la protección auditiva y si se respetan las indicaci-
ones del fabricante. Un protector auditivo que no pueda ajustarse adecuadamente
y con la debida hermeticidad no ofrece la atenuación de ruido prevista, por lo
que no deberá utilizarse. Diríjase a la persona responsable de EPI o contacte con
Protos. Solo las piezas de repuesto originales de Protos están autorizadas y se
adaptan a la normativa.
10. Limpieza:
Limpie regularmente la protección auditiva por fuera con agua tibia y jabón (no
sumergir en el agua). El producto puede sufrir daños si se aplican determinadas
sustancias químicas. Una limpieza contraria a lo indicado puede perjudicar la
eficacia protectora del producto. Solicite más información del fabricante.

11. Mantenimiento:
Los protectores auditivos de orejeras y especialmente las almohadillas de
obturación pueden desgastarse con el uso, por lo que deberán comprobarse
a menudo para detectar grietas, endurecimientos y/o faltas de hermeticidad,
reemplazándose si es necesario.
12. Almacenamiento:
Las orejeras de protección auditiva Protos® Integral han de estar protegidas de
las altas temperaturas (mas de + 40° C) y exposición al sol cuando se almacenan.
Si se almacenan en un lugar protegido de los rayos UV y del calor (p.ej. en el em-
balaje original y en la sombra) se puede prevenir el envejecimiento del material
y con ello aumentar la vida útil del producto. Si no usa su caso protector Protos®
Integral durante un tiempo prolongado, le recomendamos que deje las orejeras
de protección auditiva en la posición de trabajo y que coloque la presión de
ajuste en 0.

Retire primero las orejeras de protección auditiva del casco protector.
Ahora, coloque el nuevo acolchado de apoyo en la orejera y presiónelo
hacia abajo uniformemente hasta que encaje en todo el perímetro.

De gehoorbeschermingskappen bestaan uit ABS (Acrylnitril-butadieenstyrol) en

3. Montage:
De montage van de Protos® Integral gehoorbescherming kan heel eenvoudig be-
diend worden, u gaat hierbij als volgt te werk:

gekeurd en erkend. Lees de gebruiks- en functiehandleiding nauwkeurig door en
bewaar de functie- en onderhoudshandleidingen goed. Voor de garantie van een
zo goed mogelijke bescherming, comfort en hoge functionaliteit van Protos® Inte-
gral beschermingshelmen, is het beslist noodzakelijk om onderstaande informatie
in acht te nemen!

Zet de gehoorbeschermingskappen van de
parkeerstand in de actieve stand zodat deze
tegen uw oren zitten.
Om de optimale oorhoogte in te stellen,
moet u de gehoorbeschermingskappen
naar boven drukken of naar onder trekken
zodat uw oor op een aangename manier in
de gehoorbeschermingskap ligt.
Om de gehoorbescherming uit de
actieve stand in de parkeerstand te
brengen, trekt u deze naar buiten
en schuift u deze vervolgens naar
achteren.

De aandrukspanning waarmee de
gehoorbeschermingskap uw oor
optimaal afdicht, is in te stellen. Ver-
wijder hiervoor de gehoorbescher-
ming. Druk op de rode „Press“-toets
om de gehoorbescherming uit de
helmkoepel te trekken.
c) Het verwijderen van de gehoorbescherming
incl. klembeugel

regelaar voor de aandrukspanning
met een 1 of 2 cent-munt (CHF 10
of 50 rappen) sterker (+) of zwakker
(-) in.

5. Groottes:
Deze helm-kapgehoorbescherming-combinatie ligt in het afmetingengebied
„Groot“. Helm-kapgehoorbescherming-combinaties volgens EN 352-3 worden in het
„middelmatige afmetingengebied“, het „afmetingengebied Klein“ en het „afme-
tingengebied Groot“ aangeboden. Helm-kapgehoorbeschermer-combinaties uit
het „Middelmatige afmetingengebied“ zijn passend voor de meeste gebruikers.
Helm-kapgehoorbeschermer-combinaties uit het afmetingengebied „Klein“ of
„Groot“ zijn voor gebruikers gepland waarvoor de helm-kapgehoorbeschermer-
combinaties uit het „Middelmatige afmetingengebied“ niet geschikt zijn.

7. Speciale eis:
Dit model van een kapgehoorbeschermer heeft aan de speciale eisen bij -20°C
voldaan.
8. Massa:
220g voor 2 kappen met klemarmen.
9. Waarschuwing:
Dit product moet de schadelijke effecten van geluid reduceren. De gebruiker
moet zelf de juistheid van het product voor de te verwachten geluidsbelasting
controleren. Let op dat u uw gehoorbescherming conform de aanwijzingen van de
fabrikant monteert, instelt en regelmatig onderhoudt! Als deze adviezen niet wor-
den opgevolgd, wordt de mate van bescherming van de gehoorbescherming aan-
zienlijk verminderd, wat tot dodelijk letsel of ernstige gezondheidsklachten kan
leiden! Als de gehoorbescherming al voor een korte periode niet wordt gebruikt,
kan dit tot gehoorschade leiden. Bij langdurige geluidsbelasting adviseren wij om
regelmatig uw gehoor te laten controleren.De omhulsel van het afdichtingskussen
met hygiëneovertrek, brilpootje, muts enz. kan de akoestische prestatie van de
gehoorbescherming negatief beïnvloeden. Geen gehoorbescherming kan absolute
bescherming voor gehoorschade geven. Bij het dragen van gehoorbescherming is
een hogere opmerkzaamheid en voorzichtigheid vereist, omdat het waarnemen
van geluiden die een gevaar met zich meebrengen (schreeuwen, signaaltonen
onder meer) wordt beperkt.Er wordt alleen een optimale beschermende werking
bereikt wanneer de gehoorbescherming voortdurend wordt gedragen en de
instructies van de fabrikant in acht worden genomen! Een gehoorbescherming
die niet past en goed kan worden ingesteld, zal het geluid nooit zo reduceren dan
aangegeven en mag daarom niet worden gebruikt. Neem in dergelijke gevallen
contact op met de persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor de PBM of met Protos.
Uitsluitend originele Protos reserveonderdelen zijn toegestaan en genormeerd.
10. Limpieza:
Reinig regelmatig de gehoorbescherming aan de buitenkant met handwarme

11. Onderhoud:
De kapgehoorbescherming en met name het afdichtingskussen kunnen tijdens
het gebruik gaan slijten en moeten daarom vaak worden gecontroleerd op
tekenen van scheuren, verhardingen en/of openingen en zo nodig worden
vervangen.
2. Opslag:
Tijdens de opslag moeten de Protos® Integral gehoorbeschermers tegen hoge
tempersturen (meer dan + 40°C) en sterk zonlicht worden beschermd. Opslag
met bescherming tegen UV-straling en hitte (bv. in de verpakking van de levering,
niet in direct zonlicht) voorkomt de veroudering van het materiaal het beste en
wordt de levensduur van het product verhoogd. Indien u uw Protos® Integral
veiligheidshelm gedurende langere tijd niet hebt gebruikt, adviseren wij u om de
gehoorbescherming in de actieve stand te laten en de aandrukspanning op 0 te
zetten.

14. De afdichtkussentjes vervangen:
Verwijder eerst de gehoorbescherming van de helmkoepel.
Leg het nieuwe oplegkussen op de kap en druk deze gelijk-
matig omlaag tot deze rondom vastklikt.

Protos® Integral-hörselskydd får endast fästas och bäras i kombination med följan-

2. Material:
Hörselskyddskapslarna består av ABS-plast (acrylnitril-butadienslyren) och är åter-
vinningsbara. Tätningsdynorna är gjorda av skumplast, fästbyglarna av PA GF-plast
och absorptionsinläggen av PU-skum.
3. Montage:
Monteringen av Protos® Integral-hörselskydden är väldigt enkel, gå följande
